I would say that I hardly ever have dreams, but I know that is impossible due to the fact that you have to have REM sleep to stay sane. I'll just say that I hardly ever remember my dreams. Though I do have to admit that the dreams I remember were some of the most realistic dreams I could have imagined (except for that one thing that makes you realize it isn't real). Though I do believe that there is something to a very small percentage of dreams. I had a dream when I was in HS that was just too freaky to pass off as a fluke.

Like Mr. Tetravus, I rarely remember my dreams too. I remember a dream once in every couple months, I would estimate. But unlike Mr. Tetravus, they aren't memorable or weird at all. Usually warhammer-related, or what it would be like to be happy, moreso the former than the latter eek I'm always strategizing about stuff in my head (warhammer army lists, power development in games, stories to write, plots to persue in RPGs, etc). I usually don't have time to dream. sweatdrop

Speaking of which though, there is ONE dream I do remember from high school, because of its... ah... uniqueness eek I've had the "in school in only your underwear" dream before xp

I think i dream alot... but normally I wouldn't remember them... however, as of late, i have been starting to notice that in various dreams, i'm revisiting environments i've seen in other dreams that i haven't in real life. and, on the occassion i have started to remember the just because of the fact that i recognize the atmosphere.

I remember like 90% of my dreams. I know I have dreamed every night... sometimes it is just "I had this really cool dream, I KNOW it was cool, I just can't remember the plot." I get my story ideas from my dreams. Sometimes I have three completely different dreams and then wind them together for a story (which I get lazy with and don't finish. haha).

The one I had last night was good. It started out where I was at my parents house by the rose garden and grape vine/trellis and was helping this old guy and his apprentice pull out these NASTY prickle vines... they were poisonious or something like that. I managed to pull 25 feet of them out from the gardens and the old man only acknowledged that I pulled 1 foot out >_>; Then after that ... somehow the apprentice and I were on the couch and we were married.

Then I got up, went to the bathroom and them went back to bed and I had, most likely, the freakiest dream I ever had... I was a man (and I was watching the dream at the same time) and this anthro female insect kept trying to have sex with me... I got annoyed and chopped off her wings or something and then she freaked out and all of her insect buddies (male and female) swarmed over my house and were using me like a toy >_>;;; It was reeeeeeeally freaky. Then I ended up in a cage that was on fire and the people were made of paper... and something about a bunny rabbit.

While interesting those stories of sex-crazed insects and warhammers are, it doesn't help me much in deciphering my dream.

Luna: I don't think it's from hearing about it. When my mom was pregnant with my sister, I had no dreams about babies. I had more about me being cast aside. And ones of my parents ignoring me as I tried to tell them things.

It's probably because Billy and I talk about children a lot. And I think about them a lot, especially when visiting the guild.

I've had some lucid dreams before, they were a bit scary and very weird.

When I was pregnant I would have nightmares so vivid that I thought they were real. sweatdrop

I would have about 2 or 3 a week for the first 2 months.

Well, the only way I can tell that mine are not real is because they're sort of hazy at times. But when I was in the store holding my baby, idly shifting through clothing racks, I was scared. I could literally feel my heart pounding in my chest. I thought I had done something wrong. And I hadn't looked at all older than I do now. sweatdrop

My husband has some weird dreams. He dreamt we bought a car, so we went and bought one the next day. I suppose self fulfilling, but hey I'm not complaining. He also has dreams about being deployed when he hasn't yet. He had a dream that one of his buddies went on a convoy and didn't come back.

Most of the time he has rather vivid and physical dreams, so I have to tread carefully if I wake him up. Especially after he came out of boot camp, it was odd.

I dream things that make no sense, past relationships, murders, etc. If you really want something, you'll probably dream about it.

Although I had wild dreams when I was pregnant, it was because of elevated hormones though.

Yeah... those are the best. I always wake up with a smile on my face after those. But then again, everyone is naked and not just me.

Dreams are incredibly interesting. You can "train" yourself to remember your dreams....Just leave a notebook next to your bed and write them down as you wake up...you will soon teach yourself to retain them. Then you need to work on interpreting them. There are al sorts of theories about what dreams are.....I personally believe that they are fragments of memories, experiences and unprocessed information that is both conscious and unconscious so it can be very helpful to look at them and try to interpret their meanings. Yes there are certain archtypes which are universal but the best way to interpret your own dreams are for you to examine them, pull them apart and look at the individual pieces as well as the whole picture. Think about what each part means to you and how it applies to your life. I find that I problem solve ALOT within my dreams so figuring them out helps me to find the answers that I need.
