Roland was healed, but the Sun hunter wasn't. He could do the job by himself, but it made her feel bad for doing nothing and receiving care like it was granted. So she scooted over to the Moon and Life hunters, borrowed some bandages back.
Her eyes had lost their brightness and her face wrote with unspoken concerns, her eyes were floating without a focus frequently as she approached Jordan. "Let me help." It was just a short line with a begging tone and hesitation.

Jordan's chilly expression thawed slightly at Shu's request, and he sat down on a cot, nodding agreement. "Thanks," he answered.

She tried defense and attack, but never heal someone. Her bandaging skills were awful and she didn't know what force to use to not hurting the person but had the effect applied. She wasn't a Life hunter, maybe she shouldn't take the job, she might mess it up.......
Yet, the 'thank you' was a bit of encouragement.

Once they were walking, Connor wanted silence. Giselle's voice was soft, but it wasn't silence, so he hushed her shrieked, and and bent down to help her back up. "We have to be quiet. The light would totally attract zombies, and dinosaurs too if we were in that kind of movie." His voice was a whisper, and he took her hand, pulling her in front of him so that he could guide her forward without any more falls. "I know this mall like the back of my hand. Down two escalators and take a right. That's the ice rink - we don't need the light. The escalators aren't working though, so we have to walk down them - really, really carefully." She knew she shouldn't worry and trust what others told her, but in her heart, somehow she couldn't trust even herself. What was behind those smiling faces? She was too gullible and naive naturally, if they lied to her in a friendly way, she won't be able to find that out.
A thought developed: they were lying to her to cheer her up so that she won't give any troubles, they, indeed disliked her.
She peeked at the Sun hunter receiving her treatment, the doubt was rooted.

She pondered further, recalling events that happened in the past that sounded trivial to others but she memorized every single details. She sensed something wrong, as she won't bother with that usually, at that moment she did. She remembered when her best friend said the Sun hunter was the most important person of her (How about her?), when the Morris and the Sun huntress acted like a family (She felt she wasn't belong to their family), when Leslie told her Abbi was like a sister but more than that (they were similar but she was better), when Edgar found his ideal princess and started weaving their own romance (She felt a little bit bitter about that) - Did they ever need her?
Or they were just all pretty white lies.
Shu wrapped another bandage around the wounds, noticing it wasn't so effective.

It was getting stranger, when she realized what she was thinking. They all got spat by the substances and Rep, through the announcements, talked about the shield might not be able to stop the infection. A terrible idea formed in her mind, what if they already got infected or some of them?
She got her antidotes with her, but there were only two and they had four. It made her feel sick to think about who was going to leave uncured if all of them did get the virus from the laughing creature. Furthermore, she recalled last time, during the first stage of infection, she and other infected acted so normal that it wasn't discovered until later.
She contemplated, distracted from what she was doing.

She shouldn't trust anyone if what they would do to her was lying. Her theory was if they didn't need her, then the sweet words of them were unnecessary and false.
Roland was the one suggest they went to the sports store, she wondered if there was any chance he was infected since that time and being controlled so that they all get infected. Her shield was ample but she felt unreasonably awful, she absently spaced out for the fluttering of the ankle mark.
She stared at the arrived hunters not afar, wondering how many of them were infected and how many didn't.

Then, she thought of the civilians, the man and the family they brought to Rep. Last time, the infected were tied in a room and frozen up, was that what Rep doing behind them?
She glanced at the ceiling then roamed over the faces of others, the familiar faces looked strange, distant and uncomfortable to her. Was it just the bright lights in the ice rank was she really seeing their disdainful expression? Especially the Death hunter waving at her, she lost to them in the spar and she resented that.

She gazed at Jordan when he wasn't looking and observed his facial expression for any cues of disgust, her heals were unstable and she believed she was wasting valuable resources. Shu seemed to hear laughter and stares behind her for her lame performance.
The petite girl folded her body as if she would shrink and dodge all the unfriendly glances by doing so.

She already used up one unit of bandages, they must hate her as others would fully utilize them to heal many people, not only one. Smile was a powerful weapon, in the way they aid to hide other intentions. Shu remembered when the mother of those kids she played with smiled at her and pulled her kid away, telling her not to get close to her with a small voice, but she heard it.
Are they.....are the people she regarded as friends and that team she liked so much like that too? She didn't really care if they were infected and harm her, she only cared about how they really think about her.
If they knew she was potentially infected, will they trick her to be frozen up? The antidote must be a lie.....the creatures were so different from last time they saw, how they could confirm it would function the same way?

She felt disgusted of her own thoughts, when she considered the possibility they made her stay because they already confirmed she was infected and dangerous for them. It might explain why she felt the unsettling peeps all around her, she was under surveillance.
Her hands dug into the soft flesh of the palm, a desire to escape the invisible cage was strong and rising.

Hunters are disposables, a concept she learned from the Death Lead. It made her fear they would scrap her if her situation did get worse. She was doubtful for the reason they didn't give her antidote, she was pretty sure she was infected. The sensation and feels were too familiar, as if sh had experienced it.
If they still needed her, they would, was her conclusion and it was too cruel to believe.

She repeated the healing process like a soulless robot, mind stuffed with too many possibilities, reasons and actions be taken on her. She was restless, the angst spread throughout her body like blood veins, her eyes were big but tired. "This should do it." Her voice was weak, but a taste of lukewarm temperature different from usual. Her hands left Jordan's arm and dropped unceremoniously. She wanted to stay together, but they didn't want her to tag along, it must be. Jordan's HP: 55+6=60 (cap)

He had elbowed Tommy at his over the top flirting and smiled now, snorting. No one looked good soaked. With a groan, he wrung out the hem of his tank top. Horace didn't know why he bothered - he was just going to get soaked again. "I'm not sure it's the safest place to bring the civilians, but I don't really see another option. There's something under the mall waiting to get out and every civ is just a tasty snack." He shook his head. There was nothing to do but follow orders. They weren't put in this mall to question anything, even if Horace wanted desperately to know. He grabbed another rune. Horace was going to go right back out, but he needed to be 100%. "Y'all's shields okay? Shu, you got Jordan?" Jordan was looking a little better than before, thankfully. After Horace was done, maybe he'd try to get Tommy and Lex some more.
