Every morning when I open my eyes, it feels like a dream
It feels like the dazzling sun is shining for me
Again today, without fail, my day starts with you 𝔸lyssa 𝕍ictoria 𝔾ardner ▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬（ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ ）▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬ Feeling her cheeks heat up a bit, after she was found watching/staring at the man who was probably waiting for his drink, Alyssa couldn't help but look away. "No its not your fault. And I guess the reason why you haven't seen me around here before, is because I'm still quiet new here." The blonde says with a small smile upon her lips, while she brought her hand over her black skirt so that way there was no imperfections at the time, since she had just quickly decided to throw this outfit on. ▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬（ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ ）▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬ Do you sleep well at night?

 Dylan Chase Dylan listened to her and gave her a nod. "Oh. I see. Well my name is Dylan. What about yours?" He asked herhoping he wasn'tcoming out to straight forward towards her. Last thing he wanted to do was scare a beautiful lady off. His drink was now ready and his name was called out before he grabbed his coffee and turned his eyes to her's again. "Care to join me for a drink?" He asked her with the same warm smile on his lips.

She said with another smile gracing her fair skin before taking a sip of her Blueberry Green Tea and then heading over towards Dylan.   ♦♦Laily smiled thankfully when the lady said she did work at the Captain's Deck, thank goodness! There was a least a person she could get to know who can help her out a little! "Good, 'cause I work there too, and I dunno where it is." Oh, well, that came off kinda pushy. "What I mean to say is: I'm new to town and I don't wanna get lost." Laily said as she held her tray with one hand, scratching the back of her hand with the free one. It'd be nice if she could just figure out where the place is so she can get used to it and all, and maybe meet some other coworkers. Plus, she's gotta go through the wardrobe and dressing room and all that! She's never been a performer in this sense, so she wants to get ready! And she is a little excited!
"Mind if I sit here?" She asked, gesturing to the other chair at the table. Well, this lady certainly was pretty! But, she didn't really seem like the type of girl to work there! Laily was pretty confident that she was one of the dancers! Unless she was a "lady in the streets, freak in the sheets" sorta gal. Those types are fun to hang around! "Name's Laily, I'm one of the main dancers there." She introduced herself with a smile, hoping that she wasn't coming on too strong or whatever for this woman. Some people can't even handle a simple 'hello'! Like Jean, he can be so awkward to some people! He has no sense of being nice and trying to make friends with people! Or just being friendly in general! He won't even help her around town, that a*****e! The woman now had 100% of Zara's attention now. She set down her cellphone and looked up at her with the curious eyes of a little girl, "Oh!" She exclaimed. "It's closer by the shore... literally on the beach - how did you apply and never been?" Zara raised a brow at the thought... but then again Zara hadn't done an audition as the other girls had either. In fact, she got a call asking her to work for them. The owner had known her a year before hand back when she was freelance performing for shits and giggles. Suppose he never forgot about her then! He called her the second the nightclub was transformed into Burlesque Saloon. Either way, her question was answered not to shortly after. The siren nodded slowly, somewhat understanding but letting it stay at that. "Well, I guess that'll be an easy fix." She said with a small smile, then raised the ice coffee to her lips for a sip.
Her newly discovered co-worker asked to have a seat with her, and Zara nodded mid-sip of her coffee, gesturing at it with swift and delicate motion. She set the glass down on the table, and was more than ready to have a bite of her cheesecake. As she sunk her fork into the smooth dessert, Zara happily made herself acquainted with Laily, "Zara. I'm one of the main dancers too! Maybe we could collab one day? What type of music do you usually perform? Play any instruments?" Could the girl be blamed for her curiosity? It was always great coming across another singer/musician! Unfortunately, her brother wasn't into the same music as she was. He sat around on the sofa flipping through Polaroid shots he took after riding his skateboard god knows where, listening to rock in his stereo. Dylan Chase Dylan listened to her talk and nodded once she said her name. "Alyssa...Thats a pretty name." He said to her before walking over to a table near the windows with her. "We can sit here." He said to her with a soft smile before sitting down and taking a sip of his coffee. He waited for her to sit down before speaking. "So what brings you to this island if I may ask?" He asked before taking another sip of the coffee as his emerald eyes looked into her's.

Once she had, the blonde listen to his question as to what brought her to the island. Taking a small sip before opening her mouth, the young woman looks into Dylan's emerald eyes and begins to speak. "I guess you could say I wanted a redo on life and wanted to find out where I actually belong. Back home in England I had something bad happen to me when I was only ten years old." Alyssa stated before taking another sip of her tea in order to calm her nerves down a bit, since she was beginning to talk about her past. "But I think that part of my life will just have to wait a bit. But what about you? What brings you to the island?" Dylan Chase Dylan took a sip from his coffee as she began to answer his question, she seemed to be talking about her past and mentioned something terrible has happened to her at a very young age. He noticed her behavior changed slightly and could tell she wasn't all that ok with speaking about it. "Im sorry to hear that. I hope I didn't bring you any bad memories" He said to her. "I came to this island to get away too although mine is a more...unnatural reason. Im a technomancer so I have abilities to control technology and electricity. Most people would not be ok with someone with my...abilities so I had to get away who knows maybe even start a new life." Dylan responded to her question before taking another sip of his coffee. "I wouldn't blame you if you didn't believe me though thats mostly the first reaction that people get." He said with a soft smile.

She was in shock that she had met someone who could control technology and electricity. Giving a small giggle, Alyssa shook her head and stared at Dylan with her brown eyes. "Well I do believe you, I actually happen to be a Water Elemental if you could believe that. Its one of the reasons why I had to leave England, so that way my biological father can't find me once again abducted me and try to sell me on the black market. My mother is also a Water Elemental but I know she is safe since my step father, who is more of a father to me, was the one who actually saved me back when I was ten." ♦♦"I think my roomie had a connection with the manager and we sent a video of what I could do, and I was hired from there. I just think he was just makin' sure that I don't get a job at his place..." Which totally sounds like something Jean would do. As soon as it was confirmed that she wouldn't be working with him, he left her all to her own! With her being sick and all, she wasn't able to really get out of the house, so she had no clue where this place was. "Thanks!" Laily sat down with a smile, taking a bite out of her vanilla cupcake after she dd so. She was glad that she hadn't creeped out this girl, though!
"To be honest, never really performed before, I don't think." Maybe she has, though, considering how flexible she is. "Definitely! I'm open to anythin', really! I'm pretty sure I was hired because I'm really flexible and I can dance, but maybe I could learn to play somethin'!" It'd be cool to add extra things to her act, and it's always nice to learn something new! This was pretty exciting for her to do! Burlesque dancing seemed really exotic and sensual, and she was ready to get into it! There are some things that she is a little nervous about! Some dancers go topless during their performances, or literally just wear pasties or tassels, which might be too much for Laily. Since she's new, she's pretty sure she can just start off slow, or maybe she can just never wear any of those! Dylan Chase Dylan looked at her witha surprised look before giving her a warm smile. "A water elemental? That actually sounds pretty cool to be honest." He said to her before drinking more of his coffee and then placing the cup down as he listened to the rest of her story. Everything else seemed to be tragic. "That is terrible that your father would do that too you. This place should provide safety for you though. This is a safe haven for people like us." He said to her with a reassuring look.
