Damn, he could hardly stand and his opponent had to go out with another powerful punch. That was all part of being a ninja. Shinichi grimaced and tried to position himself in a defending position, though with easy access to the bamboo. He blinked and waited for the right moment, then went for the bundle, quickly performing Kawamiri no Jutsu. It was all or nothing...

Kohki quickly retreated at the last minute. His punch wasn't going at a high speed, so it was easy to retrieve. He backed away and attempted another punch.

Shinichi nodded as he held back another punch. It seemed this guy wouldn't quit going easy on him until he learned the jutsu. Though he wanted to say the contrary, Shinichi was glad that it turned out this way. This gave him the motivation to not disappoint the boy and get the Kawamiri no Jutsu right. He recalled the times he had done it successfully and tried to recreate that feeling. Shinichi sidestepped and attempted to swap places with the bamboo.

This time, Kohki wouldn't hold back, whatever it was would be destiny. He tightened his fist, and launched a punch with his strength, which really wasn't much. The hard wood he knocked out, brought a happy thought to his head.
He did it.. he thought stopping and looking around ... good job..

Although the Kawamiri no Jutsu was successful, Shinichi immediately realised that he didn't deserve the success. In a real battle, he would have died a while back and that was all that mattered. As he took up a position directly behind Kohki-san, Shinichi debated whether to hit the boy or spare him. His nature leaned towards the former, but his opponent had gone easy on him. Was it right to really take advantage of this? Shinichi knew that the shinobi would not have hesitated to take him out, but he himself had to save what strength he had left. He curled his fist into a ball and then relaxed, arriving at his answer. Bowing, he muttered a simple, "Thank you." before the ground gave way and Shinichi was forced to sit.

"Yoroshiku" he said in a quite voice.
He went over to his teacher to see what was next.

"Very nice," Koro said, happy that his students had finished their training. "Now, let's move onto the next step of the technique of invisibility," Koro said, pushing his students to stand up once more. "You understand the tricking of the mind and now you just have to hide yourself with the cloth. I'll count to five to give you four time to hide and use the technique. If you pass a quick scan, I'll let you pass that technique," Koro said covering his eyes with his hand. "One," he began immediately.

Kohki nodded, grabbed a cloak and ran off to use his technique. He approached a big rock.
This looks like a nice hiding place.. he thought.
He put the cloak over his body, and hoped to do it right.

[With that, did Shinichi learn Kawarimi or is there another step? also, do I try again because I failed or just keep it like this?]

It took Aya a moment to realize what was going on, but when Koro began counting, she snapped to it and grabbed her piece of cloth. She would get this jutsu right even if it was a lame technique. Standing up against the bark of a tree, Aya squatted down and hopefully used her chakra to make herself look like an extended root.

"Eek!" Aski said quickly as he realized what was going on. He quickly grabbed the cloth and franticly ran to a near by area of small grass. He laid down and pulling the cloth over hopefully maybe he would look like some stray grass.

Koro made his first scan of the students. He noticed that Shinichi hadn't taken cover yet, but he also saw that Kohki wasn't very well hidden. "Aw," he said, picking up a small pebble and flicking it at the boy. "I can see you," Koro said smiling underneath his mask at the boy. "Aya and Aski, you pass the first scan," he told the two. They had done quite a good job. "Kohki and Shinichi, let's see you give it another try," Koro said, covering his eyes up once more time.

Myobi and Sumire carefully made their way across the field towards the others. Sumire noticed that Koro had his eyes closed and motioned for Myobi to stay quiet. With a conspirator's smile for her cousin, Myobi began sneaking through the grass. Sumire followed her, trying her best not to giggle and give away her presence. At last, they both stood directly behind Koro. Myobi was very excited to be in Koro's class again. Her crush was still going strong, though no one except Sumire knew of it. She blushed a bit now. Trying to take her mind off of her sensei, she turned to the other students and waved shyly. [d20 + 0 Move Silently = 8]
