Nyantics didn't often give in to fear - mostly when it involved larger individuals that had some semblance of speech and reasoning. This? This was an entirely different level of creature that wanted to do nothing more than devour him whole if it had the chance, and he wasn't content to give it the chance.
The initial snap of pain was enough to kick in his self preservation and he started running through the woods as if his pants had caught fire (again).

[The Chase Part 4; Evade 2/2]
[ THE CHASE PART 4 ] "And, as in uffish thought he stood, The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame, Came whiffling through the tulgey wood, And burbled as it came!"
You are now EVADING the Jabberwock. It moves faster now, snapping at everything around it indiscriminately and blindly. Sometimes it hits trees, sometimes other players, sometimes you. Roll 1d4 TWICE to see the damage you take! Do this in two different posts.
- If at any point you roll a 4 you DIE INSTANTLY. This is however, nullified if you chose the SECOND CHANCE TIMER. This will save you once from instant death. This will not save you again if you roll another 4. You will have to redo the whole quest event (main quest 2) if you die instantly, as you respawn.
-Otherwise you take damage equal to the amount you rolled for! If your HP hits 0, you die instantly. Remember that your HP is 5 if you did not choose the health potion, and 15 if you did!
- If by any chance you have done this main quest more than three times and failed here you can go ahead and skip to the last part.
Spotting a small opening--was that daylight, and perhaps freedom? Clash took a chance, dashing around the side of the massive Jabberwock.
Success! Another glancing blow, but he was free. Eyes darting to and fro to avoid any potential obstacles, he sprinted forward, hoping that this...creature gave up soon.

His heart hammered in his chest a bit or at least it felt that way. Nyantics was wide eyed from adrenaline coursing through his veins. He heard voices and they were voices that he recognized him.
Siobhan consoling him and assuring him that everything was alright. Riyo telling him to get his a** back over there. Auntie promising a treat - all these things weren't enough to make him turn around and run back.
There was but one way and that was forward. Ever forward.

[The Chase Part 5]
[ THE CHASE PART 5 ]
At last you reach out of the forest. Out of the darkest parts of the forest anyway, as the Jabberwock loses interest in you or you are finally out of range of its attacks. The forest shakes but its safe for you again. It's safe for you for another day.
Finally! Clearing the dense, tightly packed tree line, Clash began to weave to and fro, to (hopefully) make following more difficult. As the noises of the wood began to reassert themselves, and he caught no sound of pounding footsteps in his wake, the white rabbit finally chanced a look behind, and, when he saw no lumbering, huge beast out to make a meal of him, he slowed, breathing heavily as he braced his hands on his knees.

At the fork he made a snap decision and grabbed the second chance timer and continued running blindly, his other hand absently making sure his hat didn't suddenly fly back and away from him.
He was certain that things would improve soon - they had to. The beast surely wasn't tireless..!

Jaws were snapping at him, threatening to snag him up. He dodged it narrowly and continued to run, a look of determination replacing his fear.
He wouldn't lose, he wouldn't fail. There were people counting on him.

His heart felt as if it was being gripped in a vice as he ran forward with a bit of stubbornness not seen by many. He jumped out of the way of a snap of jaws and pushed through the brush.
He was going to make it - victory was in his grasp. Nothing could snatch it away from him - Nyantics wouldn't let it.

[PART 5 - CLEAR]
The forest shook behind him as he managed to break free of it after finding an opening that almost seemed to taste of freedom. He didn't care to stop running and thus kept going. Nyantics let out a shout of victory as he kept running onward, not allowing himself to stop - not yet.
He could rest when he felt safe once more.

All of a sudden, the woods around her began to shake, and all manner of creatures ran past as they shouted something about a thing coming their way. It was interesting to watch all the watches and rabbits WITH watches run away, and Jack_Blue merely watched them before waiting for whatever this 'think' was.
Because she wanted to fight it for awesome loot.
When the thing revealed itself as the jabberwocky, the gryphon stared at it in amazement, then grinned and jumped out it while swinging a sword.
She was promptly eaten.

As she ran ahead of the large monster, she could hear voices calling to her. She was sure she knew these voices, but for now she ignored them and concentrated on not being eaten.
Ahead of her there was a fork in the road, so she took the right side and grabbed the Second Chance Potion as she did.

"What the - OW OW OW ********!" The jabberwocky as moving alot faster for some reason, and somehow it was able to manurer through the thick trees with ease. It was able to catch up to her, but using the potion she was able to get away before it nomed her again.

The beast was still pretty fast, and managed to catch up to her and swallowed the ghoul in one gulp.
Leaving her to be extremely pissed when she respawned.
