Laurence woke with a start. He hastily packed his belongings while Kili squeezed her eyes shut and resisted the inevitable. Finally, Laurence picked her up and set her on his shoulder, where she grumpily dug in her claws, wrapped her tail around his neck like a fluffy scarf, and tried to go back to sleep.

Remmy rubs his eyes as he listen to what the old guy had to say. So he was saying thaat all that work Remmy did for the place to stay was for nothing. He thought they where going to at least stay longer then what they did. This was non since and Remmy did like it at all.
Squeek was starting to think this old guy was a loon. It seem like he didn't really know what was going on and was playing it by ear. Squeek flew ontop of Remmy's head and tap him to tell him to get moving.
Remmy look up at Squeeks and nodded. He pack his bags and was ready to go.

Cai turned in the direction that the Captain had indicated, following the group as they began to trickle away from the camp they'd put so much effort into. It seemed like a waste. This whole trip had been a waste as far as Cai was concerned. Dark clouds boiled in his mind as he walked, the scabbed cut on his hairline itched but Cai didn't bother to put anything on it. It gave him something to focus on rather than those around him.
As he walked he kept an eye out for Anise or Lex, the two people he'd gotten to know. He wasn't actively seeking them (or so he told himself) but it was what it was.

Even though Cara had slept rather decently, she was still tired. The previous day's events had taken it out of her. Her arms were still sore from the Pidgey flock's onslaught and her hands were sore from bundling so many branches to make the shelter. The previous day had not gone how she had expected, not one bit. She knew the trek to find the air ship would be arduous but they had to do it if they wanted to get out of this place.

Lex woke groggily and grumbled, opening one eye and closed it. Too bright. He stretched and sighed, slowly shifting to sit up and cracked his back. Awake, awake... uggh. Why was he hereeee. Lex gave the Captain an annoyed squint eye. Gooo away.
Hollin shifted and rolled with a snort and squeel. The round pokemon squirmed and managed to right himself. He blinked and fluttered his wings before settling. Morning! Bright and warm. He cooed and wiggled, gleeful.

As everyone started heading out of camp, Anise fell in with the group, Oki padding along attentively at her side. She kind of wished she had Gypsy with her, but it wouldn't be fair to ride her Zebstrika when everyone else had to walk, and she'd been used to walking everywhere long before her mount had decided to join her. Anise tried looking around to take in the landscape, but besides the receding oasis behind them and the outline of mountains on the horizon, there was little more than sand in all directions. That and her fellow travelers, of course. Anise found she was walking near Cai, so she stepped a little closer and greeted the fellow healer with, "Good morning. Or as good as one could hope, under the circumstances," she amended.

He stared and they blinked back.

Pandaphilic Renekai Laurence woke with a start. He hastily packed his belongings while Kili squeezed her eyes shut and resisted the inevitable. Finally, Laurence picked her up and set her on his shoulder, where she grumpily dug in her claws, wrapped her tail around his neck like a fluffy scarf, and tried to go back to sleep. Laurence was about to leave the shelter and be on his way, but movement out of the corner of his eye caught his attention. Behind some of his companion's bags was a large pair of eyes. He stared and they blinked back. ((Not sure if I'm supposed to roll again, so ignore if not. :U )) After a startled pause, Laurence called gently to the mysterious pair of eyes, "Hello?" It seemed that there was a pokemon hiding behind some of the bags. He gave a mental shrug (not wanting to jostle the grumpy Kili); it probably belonged to somebody; there was no reason for a lone wild pokemon to be in such close proximity to a group of humans.

Erika pulled on her jacket and wandered over to the group. "Okay, I got a b***h of a headache, so I just wanna separate reality from hallucinations real quick. The balloon was attacked by a s**t ton of pidgeys, we landed in the desert after escapin', I saw a dancin' watchog that told me to kill someone - that last one is probably a hallucination - and we gathered supplies and went to bed. That good?"

Remmy sigh and walk with everyone else. This was getting to much for him. He saw Cara up a head but didn't run up to her. He could tell that she didn't like hm to much. Remmy kick up dirt as he walk. He look up at squeek and saw that he fell asleep. He wish he could go back to bed to.

Cai sighed and stretched his hands out in front of him, arching his back. "I suppose. It'll be better once we're back to the ship. Do you know how wide this valley is? About how far did we travel in the balloons?" He didn't think the baloons had gone far after leaving the ship (especially theirs) but he wasn't aware of the scale of the wastelands. Would it take all day to get to the ship, then another to get rescued? Or would it only take a couple hours before he was back home and brewing a strong cup of tea while contacting law enforcement to report a mass kidnapping.

Anise shook her head. "I'm not sure how wide the wastelands are, either," she replied. :And it was rather hard to tell how far we went, considering we spent most of the trip either running from Pidgeys or trying to survive a crashing balloon." She pulled out the laughably spare map she'd copied from the Captain and said, "And this is almost useless as a reference. All it really tells us is to head west, which thankfully isn't hard to do once you can figure direction from the sun." She glanced over her shoulder at the rising dun behind them. Considering this was a desert, it would have bee better to get going in the cooler hours, even just before dawn. They'd have to make do, she supposed.

(( Another event won't happen while you're already in one, so no point in rolling xD~ )) As if eager for attention, the pokemon perked up in response. It edged slowly out of it's hiding spot. You can see the pokemon clearly now.

Cai gave a dry laugh and nodded. "True, true. West is easy enough in the flatlands I suppose. Once we hit those low hills though how does he expect us to find the ship? For that matter, what makes him so sure the ship is there? He can't have traveled that far and back so early in the morning." His voice while as close to pleasant as he usually got towards Anise, was dripping with sarcasm and spite directed at the Captain. "I seriously think I've done enough in the past 24 hours that I won't need a bucket list later in life."
