As much as she'd love to take the lovely fishy home, she thought perhaps someone would take better care of it, considering she already had 2. And so with a sigh, she let it go.
That didn't mean she was going to give up on the others, no. Not by a long shot.
But before she ventured far out onto the ice, she felt it crack underneath her, and stepped back.

"That's weird..." she mused. Oscar was never missing from his favorite taunting spot.
"All student competitors! Report to the arena for the Tug- of- War Challenge! I repeat, ALL DORM CUP PARTICIPANTS GET YOUR---" The ickycom was suddenly cut off, followed by awful sounding feedback screeching out of the speakers.

GAME 2"Oh, jack!" How could she forget that there was an event scheduled for today? The Reaper looked at the fishing rods, then towards the direction of the arena... "Whatever." She climbed onto the thickest ice of the pond, treading very carefully, and made it to its very center. Looking down, she could see the iridescent shimmer of the Poms scales, catching their own inner light and making the water glow with a beautiful brilliance. She knelt down, hoping that the ice wouldn't break and cause her to fall in, and attempted to grab one. Immediately, she caught hold of something very soft... and very angry. The Pom bit and clawed her through the arms of her Dorm sweatshirt, giving her some painful-looking scratches across her pale arms. "I don't have time for this!" She gritted her teeth, held on tightly, and pulled it out: a Black Widow Pom, looking at her with disdain. Turn: 1/2 OnionGrump Finally!! A Black Widow Aquatic Pom to LadyLuck777, please!

She grinned triumphantly at her prize, luck was on her side today! She held the sour Pom under an arm, wincing at the sharp pain of her new battle wounds, and tried to catch something else. But when she shifted ever so slightly on top of the already thin ice, it started to crack and spiderweb under her boots. Not wanting to press her luck, and already pressed for time, she clutched the Pom tightly to her chest and headed away from the booth, racing to get to the arena... And some kind of first-aid kit.
