He rooted his feet as solid as he could into the ground. Nope. Nope. Nop- there was a problem with being the smaller brother though. And so the yank was successful, even if he wanted absolutely no part in any of this. Actually the bit of a hop to keep his balance as he lost the tug of war was a rather comical display. Seeing as no one actually ended up in a mess on the floor. "Etzer. Seriously." Ears pinned down, it was even more obvious his mood wasn't exactly chipper prom happy.

Maple would have denied any attempts of thinking Simply's name was unique in jest, because she did genuinely think it was interesting. It wasn't common and it wasn't a tree. Even Wander sounded pretty interesting. "I l-like the n-names your f-family has," even if she didn't hear the collection of brothers' names.

The little witch did indeed take the small little break to catch her breath, thinking nothing of it that Simply actually was using it as a moment to gather her thoughts about her relations. It was quick, it was small but it was at least something before they went back into the full swing of things of bouncing and twirling and spinning.

"M-my f-family," Maple parroted before she frowned, hoping that for the moment it was there that it was hidden by one rotation she had taken. It wasn't like she didn't enjoy her family, but the state of failure at home wasn't always a pleasant thought. "I h-have t-two b-brothers and a s-sister a-and a lot of c-cousins," like Simply, there were a few to name. And given the chance she probably would have gone into a pity party of how much better they were than her.

Giving the boil a somewhat bewildered and mostly amused look, the ghoul shrugged as they continued to dance. Mot...in a threesome? Yeah, that would never happen. The things people said on Critter...

"Surprisingly enough, I don't have one of those." She giggled, the corners of her mouth crinkling a bit. Hipster points lost! "I can't believe you're more into the social media game than I am."

Uttam didn't really care to be here. He'd seen the big tent, saw other Horsemen going somewhere, and followed along because he really had nothing better to do at the moment. He regretted entering the second he'd walked in, though, and grew more tired of the stupid kids with their stupid crotch to a** dancing by the second.

Aiming to leave, he passed by a certain Shaheen. He gave the woman a small nod that would have finished their engagement, had the soldier not slightly tripped on some offending power cord that guided his hand to her rump for a mere second. Retracting the limb, he gave his palm a disgusted look, before muttering some small apology to the woman of War.

"I know I haven't been the best brother recently, but I aim to remedy that, even if it is at both of our expense. So please, brother, tell me what's wrong." Etzer made sure to keep the dance loose and carefree, stepping back and forth as he pressed his palms against Molan's.

"Besides, you need the practice. In dancing, I mean." He raised an eyebrow. "I know it's not my best subject, but we both need to practice, I should think."

Ahm noticed that there was a dance competition going on, but they were too late to join in, besides, he didn't know how well Kier could dance - had he been paired with his twin he wouldn't have wondered - they were amazing dancers (in their minds...now, if that were a reality or not was anyone's guess). "Sounds like a plan, lead on."

Okay, so she could dance! The Grue grinned an ear-to-ear grin and followed after the ghost-kitten, his velvet-wrapped tail twitching against his leg to the music. She didn't need to wave him on, but since she did - how could he resist such an open invitation? Ahm joined Kieran on the dance floor, making sure to avoid the other dancers while swaying and grooving to the music with his date.

Being tall and gawky, one might have thought he would dance terribly, but he was actually pretty good so long as he had a partner. Leave him alone - or with his twin - and he would unashamedly move his body to the music however he Jack-well pleased; without a care or concern that he might look stupid or funny to someone else. "You've got some nice moves, Kieran."

Hovering around at the sidelines for a few minutes gave Jove the courage he needed. And the knowledge that he didn't stick out like a sore thumb. He could linger around the edges of the dancing students, make his way through them even, and not be ambushed unnecessarily. It was a relief.

Jove caught sight of his brother through the crowd, and paused to watch him play with the music a bit. And then... spot him with a loud outburst as usual. And then ... Yeah. The pup sighed. One would think a student with wings would be a little more graceful. Still, he gave the gryphon a friendly wave before LW dragged him off to dance.

The young pup wandered over towards the smell of food and punch instead of joining his brother, the moment Ren caught up to him there was bound to be dragging about, and he would have liked a little more time to acclimate himself first. But as it so happened, there was a familiar face near the drinks. A familiar face staring at his feet?

Jove approached the little wolpertinger and what he could only imagine was the other boil's date. He didn't want to interrupt anything, couples could be very touchy about new arrivals sometimes, but there were spookies a little ways behind the pair. And if they did not want additional company, Jove would not object to eating spookies near someone who he got along well with.

Na'ima was glad for Calder's apparent grace. She quietly kicked off her shoes to feel the floor, the bracelets on her ankles jingling with every step. She didn't need shoes to dance, she preferred not to have them.

The young stallion leaned in, his lips nearly touching hers. She frowned and leaned away from the contact. "There will be none of that, you. Dancing, and only dancing, is what I am giving you." And to prove her point she spun around him, her hand holding his above her head. She stopped to one side of him and turned back to Calder with a spin on the ball of her foot. It was not swing dancing but Na'ima didn't really care.
