Caesar-The Devourer of Hearts
Shadow demon Caesar blushed lightly when he felt Adler touch his face, his warm hand making the demon relax further. With his arms wrapping around the doctor's neck, Caesar hungrily returned the kiss. He still had to get used to how comfortable they were with such intimate actions now.

Feeling the demon kiss back, Fields allowed himself to close his eyes and kiss him deeply. He dared part his lips and slipped his tongue into Caesar's mouth, tasting everything he had to offer, feeling every inch inside that damp cave he'd come to love.
Meanwhile, the hand at the demon's back lowered and gripped the edge of his shirt, lifting it slightly and slipping the hand beneath it to feel the soft, smooth back beneath the cloth. This mouth, this taste, this touch, all of what Caesar had to offer was his, and his alone. No one else could make the demon even look at them let alone touch him like he could. No one could shower him with affection like he did. Caesar was his, and only his, and no one would take him away from him.

Shadow demonA rough yet gentle hand caressing his back made the demon shiver, small whisper escaping him as they continued to explore each other's mouths. They had just recently got back from an attack against Decius and his psychopathic son yet here they were, making out as if it had never happened despite the holes and blood covering Caesar's pants and shirt.
Putting everything but Adler and the current moment they were having to the back of his mind, Caesar relaxed himself against the man and let him stroke his back as he enjoyed The warmth against his icy skin.

Relax, that's right. All he wanted to do right now was relax from the past month's hectic times and relish his time with the demon. After having his fill of Caesar's great-tasting mouth, he broke the kiss the press his lips against his neck, sucking gently on the skin.

Shadow demonWho would have thought that Caesar would be here, that he would be feeling this way about not only a human, but a scientist and a man? He didn't know what it was about the doctor but he remembered how much the shadows and his insides screamed in protest at the idea of killing the man when they first met. Just thinking about the doctor's dirt covered appearance when they met each other in the graveyard caused the demon to chuckle as the very man continued his maddening treatment on the demon's neck.

Even the doctor was lost in his own thoughts. He reflected upon how they met, and how they fought often. If someone had told him years - even months - ago that he would be in love with a male demon he would scoff at them and attack them for such a stupid comment. And yet here they were, limbs tangled and passion overflowing from both of them. And he wasn't against it. He enjoyed it. He enjoyed Caesar's company, even if he could be stubborn at times. He wanted the demon to be beside him for as long as possible, even after he died and the boy lived on.

Dr. Fields pulled the blanket over to tuck Caesar in, his hand lingered over his cheek for a moment before pulling away. He stood at the edge of his bed, softly watching the younger-looking male drift to sleep. His shirt was missing, somewhere on the floor of the living room, and his pants were hastily zipped. The doctor gazed at the demon's thin body beneath the bedsheets, remembering every bruise he saw, every cut he felt, every scar he tasted. Demon or not, how Caesar survived all of that was purely astounding.

Shadow demonSpears, evil laughter, blood and a blinding light is all that welcomed the demon as he "opened his eyes" in his dream. It was the same man from so long ago with his stupid smirk that the demon wanted to tear off. The man raised another spear to strike his pale and motionless body when the scene suddenly changed around him and he found himself staring at Adler holding him close as he bled away his life in the cathedral. It was such a sad scene but it brought the demon peace since it was the first time he was able to let go of his past and admit that he cared deeply for someone. While he dreamt of his treasured moments with Adler, he lightly mumbled the man's name in his sleep.

Shadow demonCaesar enjoyed the warmth of the other man and took the opportunity to snuggle close to Adler as he wrapped his arms around him. After planting several kisses on his neck, he looked up. He would have smiled if it weren't for the expression on Adler's face. "What's wrong?"

Fields narrowed his eyes as his mind replayed that scene over and over. Him standing at the doorway with Decius - or at that time Dr. Rieux - standing before him.
There was a scalpel sticking out of him from Fields' attack, but he wasn't at all fazed. As Fields stared in horror, Rieux pulled out the scalpel and twirled it around in his gloved hand. "Did you really think you could beat me? Did you honestly think it would be that simple?" he asked while looking at Fields, bemused. "Fool. You never stood a chance, and you never will. Stop trying to get me, because it's a lost cause. But if you need more persuasion..." A merciless smirk crossed his stitch face as he began walked around Fields, like a lion with its prey. "You've a very interesting... assistant with you." Even though he was behind him at the time, he smirked at the jolt in the older doctor's body and the widening of his eyes. Rieux moved forward until his smiling lips were a couple inches away from Fields' ear, the tip of the scalpel gently running along the tense throat. "It'd be shame if something happened to him."
Fields jolted once more when he heard another voice, but after a few blinks he realized it was Caesar speaking to him and not his memories. He stared at him for a moment, letting his mind settle, then gave him a small, empty smile. "It is nazing. Ein vas only thinking." he murmured.
