"Not yet, Alyse has gone to the galley to see if Arwen is up yet," Lin replied, "But I wanted to see if you were up yet."
Normally she would have said, if she had known he would still be asleep, she would have let him sleep, but it seemed like Eon wouldn't have let him.

Andarien rubbed his eyes again. "Eon gets antsy if I stay in bed too long," he mumbled. "It's better if I don't sleep too late. 'Sides, if I sleep too late then I don't feel good."
He stretched his arms high above his head.
"Nana, is it okay if I let Ponyta out?" he asked, reaching for his goggles, which were hanging on the post of his bunk. He pulled them over his face and adjusted them carefully.

"As long as it is above deck and as long as he doesn't disturb those working," Lin replied.
She could understand that Ponyta needed to be out, and at least the ship was bigger than on the ship that took them here.
"I'll leave and let you get changed, I'll just be outside the door," she told him as she made her way to the door.

"Mkay," Andarien agreed as he crawled to the edge of the bed and let his feet down.
Once Lin was out the door, he pulled on a pair of pants and a short-sleeved shirt. He didn't bother with his vest or hat, it was too warm for those (or so he thought, not realizing that there would be an ocean breeze making it much cooler outside).
Once he was ready, he opened the door again and stepped out, Eon on his heels.
"I'm ready," he told Lin, much more awake now that he had been doing something.

Lin nodded, not knowing fully Andarien's tolerance to hot and cold, so she just assumed he was fine in cooler weather. She was more or less fine in most non extreme weather (but she had been out in worse as a kid).
"We'll go back on deck for now, unless you want to take a peek into the galley?"

Andarien peered up at Lin and reached for her hand, tucking his own comfortably in hers. "Don't we have to go outside to get to the galley anyway?" he asked.
He didn't know the layout of the ship, but he was correct: like on the caravel on which they'd traveled the day before, the galley was on the other end of the ship, in the aftcastle rather than the forecastle.
But even as he questioned Lin, his stomach rumbled a bit. He blushed. "Um ... yeah, if we go to the galley can we get something to eat?"

Lin chuckled, "I was about to say, we could just hang around the deck until we know when breakfast is, but yes... let's just head straight there instead."
Hopefully there would be something to eat already by the time they got there. Though Lin could never say for certain as she lead Andarien back above deck.

"Okay." Andarien was quite happy with that.
When they opened the door that led to the deck, he reached into his pocket and pulled out his red and white Pokeball. With a press of the button, there was a flash of red light and Ponyta appeared. There were a few more people on deck than there had been a few minutes previous, but the ship was so large that there was still a lot of open space for the Ponyta to run. The Pokemon took advantage of the space and began to run in large circles, getting rid of pent up energy.
Andarien smiled widely, watching the Ponyta run. He always felt bad for keeping it in its pokeball so much, though he knew he really didn't have a choice while they were on the ship.

"I wonder.... how anyone thought they could transport horses if a Ponyta gets this edgy," Lin murmured.
She knew they had thought about taking horses on the last trip (and was thankfully talked out of it).
"Do you want to watch him for a while before heading to the galley?"

Andarien pursed his lips thoughtfully. He was hungry, and he wanted to eat, but if breakfast wasn't ready yet anyways, then there wouldn't really be much point in going to the galley. Besides, Ponyta needed to run, and he didn't want it to think it was alone.
"Okay," he agreed. "But if breakfast is ready, come get me, okay?"
He didn't want to be left out, after all.

"Well... I'm sure Alyse will come back out and tell us when breakfast is ready and tell all of us," Lin murmured.
Since it was Alyse who went to see if Arwen was awake.

"Okay," Andarien nodded again. "I'll be ..."
He trailed off and looked around to see where he might sit while his Ponyta was getting rid of energy. River and Jess had gone inside to put the ball away, so there were no other children around.
Finally he turned back to Lin and shrugged. "I'll be somewhere."
And he headed off to sit on the deck and watch his Ponyta run.

Lin smiled as she watched him head off before rubbing the back of her head sheepishly. Without Earendil there, she was a bit at a lost and it reminded her that she really needed to get a hobby that didn't involve training.
Miyuki on the other hand went to talk to Lancarieal since Jess and River went back down to put the ball back. She wanted to see how her mentor was doing since it sounded like she didn't sleep much at all.

Lancaeriel was still standing at the bowsprit, but when she sensed Miyuki approaching she turned and looked at her.
"Good morning," she murmured with a slight smile. "I hope I didn't wake you. I'm afraid I was a bit restless last night."

"Not at all," Miyuki assured her, but as she joined Lancaeriel, she had to ask, "But did you get any sleep last night?"
It seemed like Lancaeriel had a knack for functioning on little sleep, seeing as even Sir Valdemar had to be sent to bed after spending an all nighter with Lancaeriel.
