Dante took a drink of pop. It tasted as if it were old and it most likely was. He hadn't opened that fridge in about a month unless he was putting alcohol in it. He put the can of pop on the table next to his bed before talking. "Eh, my mom's friend and her daughter, who I guess went to my school, were here when I came home. Apparently my mom thinks I need better friends also, because she told me so." Dante laughed a little and shook his head. "She also thinks this girl would be a better influence than my other friends like Xavier and the whole posse. But I don't know." Dante got out of his bed to open the window. He held the phone with his shoulder and pushed up the window. A cool breeze rushed in along with the screams of small children, who were playing next door. He went and sat back down on his bed.

Dante laughed a little bit. "Eh, no big deal. I haven't gotten around to actually doing anything just yet. But I may in a while." Dante felt the breeze from the window brush across his face. The fresh crisp air added to the peacefulness that he was feeling. He played with a piece of paper while talking to Victoria. "Did you talk to Daren yet? I wonder how he's doing." he said as he threw the paper in the air and caught it. He was somewhat concerned for the kid, but knew that in his heart he didn't give a crap about him. He was only concerned about going to jail because of him.

Dante silently laughed to himself. He found it funny that Victoria constantly apologized all the time even when she didn't do anything wrong. He laughed at the idea of apologizing. He had always thought that it was such an overrated thing especially in the past year. "Well he must be okay if the cops aren't knocking on my door." this time he laughed a little bit. His humor was always directed at things that shouldn't be found funny. Dante stood up off of his bed and opened his door. "Well I think I should get going. I have some stuff to do." he said as he checked his watch. He wanted to make sure he still had time to go to the few places that he needed to.

"Sometime tomorrow most likely." Dante's mother began to call for him. She was getting louder and louder by the minute. "Hey gotta go." Dante pressed end before Victoria could respond.

"Dante come here!" his mother yelled.
"Coming mom. Hold your horses!" Dante yelled back.
He ran down the steps and stood by the couch next to his mother while he smiled over at Andrea. "What was so important mom?" he asked her as he still looked over at Andrea.
"I need you to run Andrea home. Her mother is coming to work with me." she said as she looked over at Andrea. She was smiling and somewhat blushing from Dante's gaze at her. "And you better mind yourself too." she said as she smacked his arm.
"Alright mom. Do you need anything else?" he asked her.
"No. We have to go though. So you have to move your car."
"Okay." he said as he looked at his mom. "You ready?" he asked Andrea.

Andrea stood up and followed Dante out the door and got into his car. Dante slowly back out of the driveway, so that he did not scrape his car on the cement. His mother pulled out and left. Dante shifted to drive and began to drive towards Andrea's house.
"So how did you get this car? It looks pretty nice." Andrea asked him.
"I got a settlement." he said making sure to not give away a lot of details.
"Oh. So tell me about yourself." she said as she smiled at him.
"I'm the typical partier and trouble maker. Not much more to say." he laughed at his comment.
"Sounds fun I guess. I've always wanted to try the whole party life but my mom expects too much from me to do so." she told him.
"Well it'll sure kill ya that's for sure. I'm walking proof." Dante was now focusing on driving and making sure not to speed.
"Yeah your mom told me. She's really worried about you."
"She's always worried. But then I give her reasons to worry." he said smiling.
"Well you gotta give her reasons not to worry then."

Dante pulled into her driveway and stopped.
"Well maybe we can hang out soon Dante." she said as she opened the door.
"If you want. You know where to find me." he said in a suave manner.
She got out of the car and went into her house.

Dante pulled out of the driveway and headed towards his errands.

Dante parked outside of a gas station by Victoria's house. He dialed his mother's phone number. It rang a few times before she answered.

"Yes Dante? I'm at work." his mother said
"What about furniture for the house? Do I need to go pick it out?" he asked.
"It's up to you. If not then I'll go." she said quickly
"All right you can. I hate shopping." he quickly replied
"Okay. I'll go tomorrow morning. I'll call you to let you know how it went."
"Thanks. Love you." he said.
"Love you too. Stay out of trouble." his mother hung up the phone and Dante put his in his pocket.

Dante sat in his car for a little while longer. He had it turned off, but kept the radio on. His phone began to ring. He turned the radio down and check to see who was calling. He didn't recognize the number so he answered it hesitantly.

"Hello?" he said into the receiver.
"Dante. This is Jacobs. I was just reminding you that I am expecting you to see you at 8 am sharp tomorrow morning." Dr. Jacobs said enthusiastically
"I know. I have the paper remember?" Dante chuckled a bit.
"Yeah, but I had nothing better to do before I left for the day. Plus I figure you have the tendency to forget just like your brother did." Dr. Jacobs put sarcasm on the word forget
"This is true. Look I have things to do. I'll see you tomorrow." Dante replied back.
"Sounds good. Have a nice day." Dr. Jacobs said
"You too." Dante replied before hanging up.

Dante started the car and decided that he would head over to Xavier's house. He wanted to see what he had planned for the night.

Dante and Xavier were sitting in his bedroom talking. Dante looked over at the clock and realized that it was already one in the morning. Dante had been there all day filling Xavier in on everything. He wasn't really sure why he was telling Xavier some of the things. Granted he was one of Dante's closest friends, but Dante still felt that he couldn't really be trusted with anything.

Xavier checked his phone after it vibrated. He type a few words and put it back on the bed. "Hey Dante, do you mind running me to Rebecca's house?"
Dante shrugged his shoulders. "Sure. Why not."

They both got into Dante's car and sat in silence on the way there. Dante figured that they had talked enough for the day. He dropped Xavier off at Rebecca's and headed home. He pulled into his mother's driveway and saw a shady looking figure across the street. He was sitting on the bench with his hoodie up and with sunglasses on. It was pitch black out and the only light was coming from the street lamp above him. Dante didn't like the look of the guy and went over to him.

"Man the sun sure is bright isn't it?" Dante sarcastically said.
The man spoke in a deep laid back voice. It sounded as if he had been drinking slightly. "Sure is."
"Mind telling me why you're suspiciously sitting in front of my house?" Dante asked.
"Because I can. What's it to you?" the man said pushing his sunglasses down onto his nose.
"What's it to me? You're in front of my house and you look shady."
"So. I can't dress the way I want?" the man questioned him.
"Not in front of my house. Now I'm going to suggest that you go sit in front of someone else's house." Dante cracked his back.
"And what if I don't." the man stated.
"Then I kick your a**." Dante untucked his shirt.
"Is that a treat?" the man stood up.
"No it's a promise." Dante reached under his shirt by his waist. He pulled out his butterfly knife and quickly opened it.
"Whoa now. Calm down Mr. Badass. I was about to leave." the man said as he started walking away.
Dante watched the man walk away. He went to walk back towards his house and heard his foot his a glass bottle. He picked it up to find a half full bottle of Jack Daniels whiskey. He threw it in the mans direction. "And take your alcohol with you."

Dante went into his house and up to his room. He set his alarm so he could be at Dr. Jacobs office on time. He plopped down in his bed and eventually fell asleep.

"So how are the results Jacobs?" Dante asked as he sat in the leather chair.
"Slight improvement but it won't get better over night. It takes a while Dante which means you have to fight that urge even longer. But if the results aren't drastically better in a week, then you may have to be admitted and possible surgery." Jacobs said as he flipped through the papers. He made a few scribbles on the papers.
"Well you better hope they get better. Or else another one of your patients will be found dead. I will not get surgery just to let you know." Dante emphasized the last part.
"Then I will have you lawfully admitted. It's possible and I'm not afraid to do it." Jacobs fixed his glasses.
"We'll see. Can I leave now?" Dante asked.
"Yeah. Be here tonight at six pm. That way I can check your blood for toxins and other things." Jacobs said without looking up.

Dante walked out of the room and closed the door behind him. He took out his phone and texted Aria. Hey we should hang out soon. Dante sent it urgently and went out to his car. He got into his car and his phone began to ring. He thought it might have been Aria, but it was his mother.

"Yeah mom?" he asked her.
"I got it taken care of. I paid a little extra so that they will bring it today." his mother said happily.
"Do I have to be there? I have stuff to do today." Dante stated.
"Nope. I'll be there. It should be there around two if you want to come check it out. But there is a lot of stuff seeing as it's a new house and you had nothing." His mother told him.
"How much stuff and how much was it?" he asked.
"Well it's enough to fill all of the rooms in the house and allow them to be used for their purpose. And it wasn't that much. Your next check from the investments will cancel out the cost."
"So you bought enough to make it look like and actual functioning house? And that's fine." he asked again.
"Yep got everything except the decorations. I think you'll like the style and look of it all. I had help from a guy if that reassures you." she said laughing.
"All right I can get that stuff. And who helped you?" he asked again.
"Your friend Kevin stopped by today to see you. I kinda talk him into coming since he knows your tastes."
Dante laughed. "Well if Kevin went, then I'm pretty sure I'll like it, since he wouldn't let anything girly or non-manly pass. Thanks mom." he said cheerfully.
"No problem. Will you be there later?" she asked him.
"Yeah I'll come at three. Is that fine?"
"Yeah that's fine. Oh and you also have to buy your televisions and electronics since I know nothing about that."
"Okay mom. I can do that. I'll see you later. Love you." he told her.
"Love you too."

Dante hung up and headed towards Victoria's house. He parked in the parking lot and climbed the stairs in her building to her door. He knocked on it gracefully that way it didn't startle her if she was still sleeping.

"Yeah, I just left and have to go back later. Hopefully I don't have to do this for a long time because going back everyday is going to get annoying." Dante said as he placed his feet on the table in front of him. He looked around the apartment and saw a crack forming in the ceiling. He didn't pay to much attention to it and looked back at Victoria. "So I'll be able to move into my place today. You can come with if you want." mentioned with a smile on his face.
