Adrien looked at her from the kitchen and took a bite of the sandwich he made himself. He just gave her a warm smile and sat in the chair while looking out the window, taking bites of his food every now and then.

A familier voice came from behind him. "Adrien. We never got to talk last night." Death seemed happy as he sat in tge chair across from him. The skeleton seemed to be grinning.

Adrien jumped a little and looked at Death, nodding. "We were supposed to talk about something?" he asked, a little confused. But he shrugged it off and took a small bite of his sandwich. After chewing for a few seconds he asked "What is it that we were supposed to talk about?"

"The future, Lolita, some things i need to warn you about." Death said, reaching into his cloak and grabbing a dark tea cup, drinking a black liquid.

Adrien saw the black liquid and shuddered, hoping it wasn't that stuff from last night's party. "Okay...let's get straight to the point." he said as he was a little nervous of what the skeleton was about to say.

Death took a sip before explaining. "I have obtained another invatation to the wedding and you will be attending. You must stop it any way you can...but i advise to not embarress yourself. Murdoc has been thinking evil things sence the ball and is half expecting you to show up. If he gets his hands on you, its lights out. If you die....we all will die...." he said, looking over at the sleeping Lolita.

"So I'm basically the last thing that can save us all and all I have to do is prevent the marriage...?" he asked with a little bit of fear in his voice. "Well...how difficult will this be?" he asked

"No one will listen to a half demon. Pretty much the only way is," Death slid his thumb across his throat making a slashing sound, "Murdoc."

Death took the gun and looked at it. "I dont think so. Its gonna take a lot of effort to kill him." He stood and started for the door. "Im sorry, but i have to go now. I left the invetation on the table. Oh, and also, dont die. That would alsi mean certain death to everyone. Once Lolita is eightteen, she has more than enough power to destroy Hell, the Earth, and quite possibly Heaven. Good luck." He said, leaving. A demonic looking letter was sitting on the table.

Adrien grabbed the gun and put it away. He then sat down and finished his food. Becoming a deep thinker with what Death said. "Enough power to overthrow Hell and Earth...possibly Heaven..." he looked at Lolita and after he left a small kiss on her head he left the room.

The cornor of Lolitas mouth twitched after being kissed on the head but nothing else. She was dreaming of her and Adrien at the carnival.

Adrien stood in the backyard, seeing a bow and quiver. He looked across the yard and saw various targets. Pulling out his other handgun and Earthshaker he aimed at two targets that were side by side and stopped. He put one down and put a silencer on both of them so he wouldn't wake Lolita. Aiming down the sights he pulled the triggers.

As soon as it fired, an arrow came down, hitting Adriens shoulder.

Adrien winced and gasped in pain, dropping the handgun. He spun around and pointed the invention at whoever shot the arrow.
