Takara continued to put pressure upon the wound, she could feel warmth coming through the material upon his head. She slowly placed her other hand upon his face and she could feel that he was hot. Closing her eyes she knew that he had broken into a very high fever, just by the simple touch of her hand.

Looking around she saw parth sitting by the tree, "Parth would you please stop sitting there and come help me out. I'm sorry about what had happened in the desert with Ultima, but right now we need to focus on matters on hand, and I need you to get me some water from down the lake as soon as possible, more like right now!" she shouted for every second that had passed his fever was getting hotter. Then she looked at Runa seeing her tearing up pieces of her outfit to make bandages, "Runa, I need you to come here and hold this upon his head while I go and try to find some herbs to place upon his wound to heal him and hopefully break this fever that has come upon him." she said calmly as she watched Runa coming towards her.

As Runa came and sat beside her, she slowly put her hand upon the area that Takara was holding and quickly pulled away. Takara looked at her strangely and asked, "What's the matter Runa, I told you he had a fever and was very hot, please I need to go find those herbs to be able to help him."

But as Runa stoodup and back away from Takara, she could sense something seriously was wrong with Damian, slowly Runa began to tell her, "Takara he feels like he's on fire, not just a high fever but actual fire." she said as she stood there watching her with him upon her lap, she couldnt understand why Takara could sit there and not get hurt for the minute she approached him she could feel the intense heat from his body.

Takara looked up at her and said, "Ok then I want you to go find the herbs they arent very far from here. Now listen its very important that you get the right ones, there is a bush that has pink flower's blooming upon it, I need some of its leaves along with the flowers, then there's another bush and its leaves has red spots upon them. I need a few of their leaves and also its roots. So please go get them while I stay here and attend to Damian."

She watched as Runa went to the area where she had told her to go and she sat there waiting for Parth to come with the water, "Damian, I don't know what is going on within your mind but I hope you can hear me. I'm here to help you out, please fight whatever is doing this to you." she whispered softly next to his ear.

Takara continued to make Damian comfortable upon her lap as well to keep him covered. She glanced over where parth was still sitting, "Parth didnt you hear me....I need you to get some water please!!!" she shouted at him, hoping this time he would respond to her pleading.

Taking the bowl from Parth she slowly took the pieces of material that Runa had shredded for her and slowly dipped them into the bowl. Squeezing the excess of water out of them she gently brushed against Damian's brow, to try to cool him off. But realized that it wasn't helping a bit.

She looked up at parth and saw that he was unhappy, she softly asked him, "Parth what is wrong, please you know that things will work out for the best at the end, we just have to be patient is all. I dont understand what Ultima meant by saying for me to forget about Kouchi, for I just can't there has to be a reason why he's missing again." then she looked back down at Damian as she tried again to cool him off with the cloth.

Shaking her head and closing her eyes gently, she spoke in a soft tone, "Parth, my feelings for you is like of those that are close to me....the love I have for my friends run deep into my heart, but its not the same kind of love that I would give to the person I want to live the rest of my life with. I thought that love had died long ago, but when Raven came into my life he rekindled it and then my heart's desire of my true love was there again. Yes, Kouchi is that man that my heart is longing for but as you can see that he's gone again. And my heart is once again dying from the pain its enduring. As for you, I know that you want nothing more than to show me that love, but as I've said before time can only tell....and we need to continue on with our lives as friends for now."

Damian was laying there, his skin was just shy of being red as a tomato and as the water touched his skin it immediately evaporated. Takara was lucky she had the pendant upon her leg...he could only hope it didn't slip off of her. For if it did she would be horrificly burned wherever she was touching him. The cloth she was dousing him with immediately bust into flames and was reduced to nothing. There was no reason to fight what was happening, it wasn't a bad thing. Merely the change to the highest rank of elder, the change to something that could bring vengence to his people. He grinned within his sleep as his body's bone structure changed slightly, his shoulders widening and his arms getting a small bit muscular, he was getting bigger again, but only taller by an inch, but much more muscular then he was before. His eyes flashed open after a while and his eyes widened, he knew what had happened and when he saw Takara his eyes widened even further. He saw the pendant upon her leg and his eyes widened. "Takara..." He whispered. "I want you to do the fastest back-roll you have ever done and do not touch my body as you do it." He stated as he looked at the clothing that had been covering him was incinerated yet again, he needed something else...something that wouldn't burn, or he would be walking around naked for quite a while.

After she said what she did to parth, she thought she heard Damian speaking to her. Looking down at him she smiled when she saw him looking up at her. Carefully she listened to what he told her to do, giving him a questionable look she just nodded at him. Then as fast as she could she rolled back away from him, and sat there looking at him and then at parth. "Damian, whats going on here?" she asked as she slowly got up from the ground, then watched him as he laid there.

Looking around to see if maybe parth could help him out or maybe if Runa had gotten back from getting the herbs, she asked parth. "Parth do you see Runa coming?...She should be here any minute now."

Hearing Runa shouting that she was back, Takara stood there smiling at her. "Well done, Runa you did well." she said as she slowly walked towards her and took the items that she had requested.
