I now see another factor that's going to affect the Crane vs. Scorpion match. Raga's hankyu can't shoot targets further than 100'

I think we've said all there is to say. Also, to make a point. Kojiro's father would likely be a survivor of the Scorpion exile. Guess he picked up some nasty habits like cheese and meat and junk like that.

Psychofish I.... I could actually win this, maybe? Seriously? Why is it the dice love Jonn and Denbe's skill checks so much? Are they telling me to play noncombatants? ...also, writing over 30 lines of original fable on the fly is hard. Not quite happy with that one, but it'll do, pig. It'll do. I liked the tale. It was very nice. And in the same manner, the dice are telling Kojiro he's an archer.

And come to think of it, do the Hare have any enmities or rivalries with the other clans? From what I can tell they mostly concern themselves with the enemies of the empire, especially Bloodspeakers. It does say that the Kolat manipulated the Scorpion into destroying Shiro Usagi but I can't find any mention of who that was, or if the clan holds hard feelings over it.
Against the Scorpion, I mean, since apparently the Hare hate the Kolat and Bloodspeakers with a passion.

No mention. Apparently they chalk it up to anyone can be mislead... I think. It's your choice if Denbe hates any clan for any reason though. The Xes may be too uppity for their own good, in example.

The Kolat has members in every clan. Basically, they believe that man should be led by man, not the Kami nor their descendants. The Hare were probably getting too close to something and the Kolat had them (supposedly) wiped out.
The Hare were founded by a ronin, rather than a samurai from a Great Clan who earned the right to start his/her own family. So depending on how a Great Clan might feel about ronin, might reflect upon the Hare.
Also, with the accusations of practicing maho, some might still feel uneasy about the Hare if they've had bad experience with Maho in the past. Phoenix, Scorpion, and Crab probably being the biggest culprits, if any.
