Nero Njord Nero raised an eyebrow at the girl, giving her a dumbfounded look. " The hell's wrong with ya?" he said and moved her hand away from him. What a freak.

~~Luna Davis~~ "I really dislike bullies. How about I take control of your mind and make you start beating yourself up?" Luna's left eyebrow went up and she put an innocent look on her face. "Why, nothing is wrong with me, of course. I'm a little worried about you. First you get flustered a little too easily, and then you get weirded out. Perhaps counseling is in order?"She was trying hard not to laugh.

Nero Njord Nero continued giving her a weird look before a knowing smile spread across his lips. " Oh, I get it. Playin' the innocent act, eh? Sorry, toots, but it doesn't work on freaks." he said and flickered his wrist at her, causing a gust of wind to blow in her direction. " Shouldn't you be scramblin' now? You saw the library, now get lost." he grunted. This girl was severely annoying. There were no words to describe how much she was pissing him off, and he wasn't sure how much longer he'd stay sane with this idiotic act of hers.

Luna replied with a burst of telekinetic energy that felt to those around her like a gust of wind. "I've dealt with Mortal Guardians of Wind before, even if you are not one. Most of what you can do, I can do as well."
Granted, I could use a lot more practice. That actually hurt a little.Due to the fact she was still lacking in training, she got headaches after exerting herself too much. There were enough telepaths in the area that her mental shields were already fatiguing her.

Dragon The irises of his eyes changing from golden to grass green, Dragon walked finally reached the massive library and opened the doors to enter. There was a slight hesitation in his body language, but he pushed it aside with determination. He had to start acting like an adult now, and this was the perfect place to start. This library had books about everything, and he would read as many as he could to learn as much as possible, then nobody would look down on him or tell him that he couldn't help. As Dragon looked across the library - his eyes turned clear blue - for which kinds of books to read first, he noticed two people at the center. They didn't look happy with each other. He pursed his lips, wondering what happened, but wasn't sure if it was his place to intervene.

This was the lesson of how life was filled with choices. Dragon would have to figure out what was necessary to learn first and move on from there. Perhaps he could read a few books himself while in here. If there wasn't any books that interested him, he'd just try doodling while Dragon read his books. He wanted to learn, to be an adult, to have skills so he wasn't so dependent on others. That the vampire understood and had no problems against. All kids wanted to be an adult and to understand the world around them. It was the fact that he said he wanted to be an emotionless doll like Lurtz that he disapproved of. It wasn't like how Dragon seemed to think it would be. When he noticed him looking at the unhappy duo in the middle of the library, however, Lurtz gently touched his arm and shook his head slightly.
"Consider all possibilities before taking action. That would be my advice to you. Just understand that if you get involved and they threaten you with hostility of any kind, I will get involved with what I was trained to do in order to protect you. I will kill them if it's necessary for me to protect you and I won't show remorse or regret for doing it either," he rumbled to where it was just audible enough for the dark haired boy to hear him. Scratching the back of his head lightly, he could still feel how uneven his hair had been cut and that was going to bug him until he could get it fixed. "So where would you like to start? History perhaps? Politics? Economics? Take your time though. It wouldn't behoove you to get a headache or to become sick because you've stressed yourself too much within a short amount of time. You have a lot of ground to cover after all."

Hearing Lurtz's advice, Dragon nodded slowly then turned to look at him when he asked him what to read. "History." he replied without hesitation. "I want to know everything someone my age should already know." he said and began making his way to the shelf labeled 'History/Social Studies'. He wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but he didn't expect there to be so many different kinds of books! American History, History or the Founding Fathers, The U.S.S.R., World War II and the Armenian Genocide, and even more books that completely confused the young man. He stared at the assortment of books as his jaw hung slightly, then he looked to Lurtz for help.

Finding one he figured wouldn't be horrible reading over again, he was about to grab it only to see Dragon's eyes asking for help. Giving a soft sigh, he ran his finger over the bookshelf in front of him only to snap his fingers and catching a thick book that formed up in midair.
"This is every book here on this bookcase in order based on events that happened in time sort of like a timeline only with better detail. Should you finish reading this bookcase full of historical events, all you have to do is tap the little blue crystal on the cover then tap the next bookcase and the book will automatically organize the texts for you within it whether it be more history, economics, politics, classic literature or whatever else you may find here. If you'd like, Lord Dragon, I could quiz you on what you read so as to be sure you aren't just letting the words you read come and go," Lurtz responded while briefly pointing to the sapphire gem on the cover of the book so Dragon would see what he was talking about when he spoke of changing the contents of the book. Once he was finished explaining it, he held the book out to the dark haired boy while using his other hand to pick up the book he'd been about to grab up off the shelf.

҈ ҉ ɖʀѦɢѻЛ From boy to man.
Dragon staggered to keep the book from falling in his nervous hands. He gripped it tightly and listened to Lurtz's explanation over what it was as he stared at the gem on the cover. A magic book that contained all the books, huh? That should make things easier. Mumbling a thanks, the grass green-eyed boy made his way to the nearest table and sat down. Now, just open the book and start reading. The words dragged on and on, a good amount beings ones he had never even heard of. Nevertheless, he continued reading without bothering Lurtz. He had to learn how to do things on his own now. The dates and statistics began to jumble in Dragon's head the longer he carried on. Names flashed before his eyes, but he vaguely recalled their importance. The more he read, the heavier his eyelid became. He was just getting to the fall of the Roman Empire when his eyes decided that they had had enough. The book opened in one hand and the other holding his cheek, Dragon let out a quiet snore as he entered his deep sleep.
A minute later, a faint breeze with the scent of the sea blew at Dragon's back, but all he did was murmur in response. Now standing behind the sleeping boy was the man from earlier, the one with the fedora and the black skinny jeans. He leaned over Dragon and gave him a curious glance before looking at the book in his hands. "That sure is a whopper." the man whistled to himself while scratching his chin. "Must be some kinda paper due later."

xxx Ⓜⓘⓒⓗⓐⓔⓛ emotion_sweatdrop Ⓓⓐⓡⓚ"Nothing is softer or more flexible than water, yet nothing can resist it." ____________________________________________________________ Smelling of paint, Michael opened the door to the library with his painting in his hand. Luckily, with all of his walking, most of the paint dried on the canvas so he didn't have to hold it so carefully anymore. He made sure the doors closed quietly behind him as he threw away the wet napkin he used to clean the paint off of his face in a nearby trash can. He liked the library because it was always peaceful, quiet, and provided an escape to another world.
Walking further into the library, he slipped between tow shelves and began to read the spine of each book the wooden pieces could hold. Each section was different and held a different adventure that Michael knew he would enjoy. The only problem was that there were so many choices! How could he possibly pick when the all looked so great? But, when the indecisive artist eventually did find a book after quite sometime of thinking, he finally sat down at a nearby table and set his things down. The book looked interesting enough so I he wanted to give it a shot.
After sitting down and getting comfortable, Michael opened the book and began to read, hoping that it was going to be a good one. The title, 'The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde', sounded pretty interesting itself.

When the boy drifted to sleep, he wasn't really surprised either. He was still only a child no matter how much of an adult he wanted to be. It was only natural after so much stress and concentration was being mustered he would fall asleep. There was also the fact that Lurtz had drained him of a lot of blood upon their relationship being started.
"If only it were that simple. I'm not surprised he fell asleep. I wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't a clue as to what he's even reading. This is what he wanted though so I obeyed," the fair haired vampire rumbled lowly so as not to disturb others while flipping the page. He didn't need to look up to see who was there as it was a familiar presence. The blonde who was now reading of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde a few feet away, however, got a brief glance from the corner of his eye. It was a pretty good book so he wasn't really surprised someone would read it. Then again, he was a little surprised someone of a younger generation was actually reading it. Most thought literature was those terrible apocalyptic stories or vampire-werewolf novels full of one thing; love triangles. Ugh... If only his dad hadn't've forbidden him from toasting that human author that wrote that Twilight series... At least Amelia Atwater-Rhodes had realistic books on vampires albeit he honestly wondered why such a human author would know of such high class vampires, the witches, the shapeshifters and how vampire parties were thrown. Oh well. He wasn't allowed to mess with her either. "May I ask why the sudden appearance?"

Dragon Nero noticed the other reader, too, but kept his focus on the blue-haired man. "I hang out here most of the time. I'm just surprised to actually see people comin' in. Makes me wonder if the End of Times is happenin' or somethin'." he explained while scratching the back of his head, making his fedora bob up and down. "What about you? You this guy's tutor, or somethin'?" Nero

His sky blue eyes watched them a moment in what might have seemed suspicion for a little while before they finally returned to his book. So far, it was a really good read and reminded him a little of someone he knew. Glancing over at his painting, Michael reached out and grazed a corner where he didn't have to worry if the paint smeared, just so he could check if it was dry. "Tutor, guardian, friend, ally, bully, enemy, interrogator, rescuer and obedient servant and soldier if you'd like to get technical. I'm still trying to figure out if he considers me as anything else, but the previous list are what many have me listed under," the fair haired vampire responded rather bluntly before finally lifting his gaze just above his book yet still avoiding eye contact. Lurtz ran his fingers briefly through his short, pale blue hair while seeming to think about something for a second. "We've only really met recently so I'm rather surprised he's even said over half of the things he has to me. It is very surprising to hear of anyone being in a library in the present day. My opinion, of course, matters not though albeit I won't hesitate in saying libraries aren't the place for paintings still in the process of drying. If it's the End of Times, well, I'm one step closer to eternal damnation and will do my damnedest to keep him from suffering such a similar fate. As for what I'm doing, I'm enjoying the finer points in classic literature while letting a gentle soul take a peek into history and how reality truly is... As I predicted, the intake of all the knowledge he is seeking ended up adding more stress as he focused on the words and now he is going through the burnout phase where he is consumed by exhaustion. I warned him and he still followed through on stressing himself out." Raising up a shoulder in a half-shrug, Lurtz then shifted his gaze back onto the pages of his book and flipped the page once again. Perhaps he was too calm about such a thing happening as the boy falling asleep due to stress, but Dragon wouldn't be satisfied unless he got the answers he sought out in the world and Lurtz couldn't explain much of anything if his life depended on it.

Dragon The black-haired man gave Lurtz a blank stare an a gape. "Wuh...?" was his first response. After a while, he shook away his confusion and leaned back against the table. "So you're his friend." he decided for himself and crossed his arms. He nodded to himself, trying to register what else happened then looked back at the sleeping student. "Any reason why this guy wants to know the history of history?" he asked before noticing the other boy watch them, if even for a second. "Oh, you a friend of his, too?" he called out. Nero
