"Taji" fell limp before the two could teleport, collapsing onto the ground. There was no more mental connection between the two, as Taji struggled inside.

"Ack!" Tempest feel over on top of 'Taji' as she collapsed but quickly rolled off. She couldn't feel Taji's connection anymore which worried her greatly. Had something gone wrong? "Taji?"

The body lay limp, though the breathing was normal, as if they were sleeping. A short moment passed before eyes fluttered open, crystal blue eyes. She looked up to Tempest, staring at her a long moment.

Tempest stared back at her, her head tilting slightly after a moment. "Taji? Are you alright now?" She looked worried, wanting to wrap her arms around her and hold her to make sure she was the real Taji now.

Taji took a deep breath, nodding as she sat up, pulling Tempest into a seated position beside her, throwing her arms around her in a tight hug. Oh Tempest... I'm so sorry, she whispered, her eyes flooding with tears.

Tempest blinked then wrapped her arms around Taji to keep her close. "Taji...it's alright." She kissed her temple lightly then nuzzled her cheek against her's. "No one got hurt or anything."

Bastian turned his eyes on Saber, and they flickered with iridescence in the gold of their color.
"MAYBE you aren't the only one who doesn't want to see her get hurt."
Ophelia just blushed, swallowing heavily and standing slightly apart.

Tempest continued to hold her, her hand lightly rubbing her back in comfort. "It's alright. I'm not upset with you about it. And you don't have to explain it right now if you don't want."
Saber just looked at him for a moment, his expression unchanging but his mind worked in another direction. One glance at Ophelia's blush confirmed that something was a bit off. "I don't think anyone would like to see her get hurt except Lucius. Me, you, her family, whatever." He wasn't going to jump to any conclusions.

Taji sighed softly, hugging Tempest for a long while. I know you deserve to know, but I really just want to hold you right now, she said lowly, closing her eyes tightly to try and prevent tears from falling.

"It's alright, love. I won't force it out of you." Her hand continued to rub Taji's back slowly, her other simply holding her. She kissed her temple again and just relaxed with her.

"I love you too," she whispered back. She could feel Taji's grip but said nothing about it. "Do you want to go somewhere else to be alone? Saber and Ophelia will probably be back soon..."

Yes, please... Taji whispered. I hope you don't mind, I know we just came over, and you haven't really talked to your brother, who seems lovely by the way, so does his girlfriend, she said all in one breath. But... her voice trailed off.

Tempest shook her head. "It's alright. Saber and I can talk another time. I don't think they'll be offended if we left right now." She gave Taji a small smile and a light squeeze. "Do you want me to take you home?"
