Even though he liked being near Shin he figured this wasn't the most romantic of places to be swooning over him. Leaning up, sock covered feet held in a tip toe position for just a moment, Haro placed a quick kiss against the other's cheek before easily weaving himself out of Shin's grasp.
He felt...dirty, n-not because of Shin or...or anything but he felt like he needed a dowsing in a bath of some kind- be it bird sized or otherwise. Twittering off to turn on the faucet to the sink, Haro grimaced softly, a pout upon his lips. Thankfully most everything he had eaten yesterday had either been digested already or was some sort of liquid.
Turning his tired gaze towards the other, Haro smiled softly for a moment before questioning, "Ne, Shin? Do...do you have a...sh-?" He wasn't quite sure of the term. He knew Wei had taken whatever they were called once a day but had always cleaned him off in his bird form by sticking him under the kitchen faucet... "A...cleaning thing? I don't know what they are called..."

"You mean a shower..? Or a bath?" he asked. "There's one over there, behing the shower curtain, if that's what you're after..." he said, a little reluctant to let the other go. But... he couldn't force Haro into anything - especially not after what the boy had told him.

"A shower!" He still didn't know what the difference was between the two though... Hm. Washing off his hands with a bit too much soap, the boy frowned slightly as he had to take an extra minute to rinse off his hands from all the suds. "What...what is the difference...uhm between a bath and a shower?" He asked, turning around to peek behind the shower curtain.

"When you take a shower, you use that thing," he said, pointing up the the shower faucet after having followed the boy. He drew the shower curtain back. "And water sort of... washes down on you and drains at the bottom... In a bath, you fill the tub with that," he said, indicating the taps and the other faucet. "And you lay down in the water..."

Haro looked absolutely delighted with the idea of either, hands clasped together as he laughed, "Wh-which one do you like better?" He asked in a geniunely happy sort of voice, amber eyes scrunched up as he smiled.
"Ah, Wei used to put me under the faucet in the kitchen, I guess...I guess that's kind of like a shower, ne?" He asked with a pout as he brushed away bright hair that was hanging too much in his face.

Mie-tanuki "Sixteen," he said with a slight blush. "I - you thought I was twelve, didn't you?" he asked slightly reproachfully. Of course, he was used to it by now by he hated being treated like a child. Wei laughed.
"Nah, I was thinking fourteen or fifteen," he admitted with a fanged grin, green eyes darkening slightly as he gestured a spot for the boy to set his case down before rethinking his earlier plans.
"You know what I'd like right now?" He asked, not expecting much of an answer as he closed the door to his apartment, "I think I'd like a little demo," he murmured with a smirk, pointing towards the small instrument case. "Someone who's been playing that long must be good, eh?"

He flushed. "I - I suppose... What would you like me to play...? Or at least, if you don't know any songs, then... what kind of song?" he asked a little nervously. He didn't usually play for people just because they asked. But Wei had, after all, been kind to him and provided him with a temporary home while things got sorted out.
**
"Hnnn... it depends... Showers are quicker, but baths are more relaxing.... If it's the morning, I take a shower because it wakes me up... and at night it would be a bath because it's relaxing..." he said thoughtfully.

Wei stepped out of the entryway, a hand placed against his chin as he thought to himself. Making his way towards the family room area, he sat down in one of the couches farthest from the windows...too much light came through at this time of day and it was almost blinding.
"Hm.... I don't really mind just play your favorite," he finally decided with a nod.
-------
Haro weighed out the pros and cons of each and decided it may be better to start out with a shower since it was the closest thing to being stuck under a fountain of water and scrubbed with a bar of white soap. Pulling back his uneven hair with one hand, the boy murmured, "I guess I'll take a shower then."
Before completely turned towards said shower, Haro glanced back with a bright smile, "Do you think once we've eaten and stuff we could visit your mom? I...I think she'd be happy to see you," he said with a faint flush.

He frowned. "I... I don't really have a favorite..." he admitted. "I... have trouble picking best or worst - I don't even have a favorite color..." he said, looking thoughtful. He shrugged. "I'll just play the song I'm working on for competition, I suppose... You know, that's one of the reasons I moved here. There's a music hall about two blocks from here and I'm in competition there...." He carefully took his violin and bow out of their case, then setting his case delicately on the floor. He set his violin in place - he had a dark bruise on his neck and under his chin from years of playing ((they look kinda like hickies... >.>;; My cousin plays the violin)) - and then began to play. The song began slowly but soon flitted into a blur of motion as the bow flew across the violin. It ended with a last, desisive note and he lowered his bow and violin, looking slightly apprehensive. He really was very good, but he was also self conscious and a little embarrassed.
**
His smile faultered slightly. "I... I don't think so..." he said quietly, his eyes lowering. "I... my family made me promise never to visit her... It hurts... it does... but I have to... to... do what they say... THey've been too kind to me for me to be so inconsiderate as to disobey them." Then he seemed to recover, his smile brightening. "But... I'm sure she'd love to meet you once she gets well again."

He'd expected something a bit more stunning than some of the performers he had heard around the city but... "Damn, you're good!" He surely hadn't been expecting something as amazing as that. Holding a hand to his head as if purely astonished, Wei clambered to his feet with a laugh. Ruffling the teen's head of firey orange hair the young man grinned widely, "Not bad, Honey," he murmured, his smile twitching into an amused grin at the kid's nickname.
--------
Haro frowned softly, his expression darkening to a lightly distressed tone. Promise never to visit your mother? Haro didn't understand how anyone could ask that of somone, espeically if the person could possibly take a turn for the worse and it was all over...
"I guess I don't really understand...I never knew my parents...so I- I just can't understand how you could...not see her," he murmured, casually pulling off his shirt with the frown still present.

He smiled a little sheepishly. "Thanks..." He flushed and a hand moved to instinctively run through his orange locks, making them less messy, although not exactly neat. "I... I've been working on that peice for a few months.... That's actually only the first part of it... it's very long... About fifteen minutes in all... Endurance is part of the competition for Nationals... You have to be able to play more than just four minutes...."

Shin shrugged. "I don't really understand, either... Only I suppose it's because there's something going on that they don't want me to know about..." he said thoughtfully. "I've no idea what that would be, though..." He paused and then looked over at Haro. "Don't worry about it, okay? Here, I'll go get something ready to eat while you bathe, alright?"

Haro nodded softly, watching with a lingering gaze as Shin left. He almost felt bad for mentioning his mother now...he figured it must be pretty hard to be forced not to see someone when they were hurt.
Folding his shirt carefully, Haro set it down on the counter before shuffling over towards the shower and turning it on. Fiddling with the knobs for a bit while testing the water temperature, Haro looked back towards the door before quickly ridding himself of the rest of his clothes and scampering into the stream of warm water.
Once his body stopped shivering from the cold, Haro turned a bright gaze towards the assortment of bottles at the back of the tiled area. Making sure his hair was wet he carefully made his way near the bottles. "Nnm...which...one?" Muttering to himself, Haro picked up a dark blue bottle filled with a viscous looking substance. Scanning the tiny print on the back of the container, Haro bit his lower lip in thought. He hoped this was the right thing to use on his hair. "Sh...sham- Nn, this word is stupid," he murmured to himself with a frown before pouring a rather obscene amount of shampoo into his cupped hand. 'Hope this is enough,' he mused while he splattered the pool of shampoo on his hair. "Rub rub rub! Dubdubdub~! Fish in the sea, birds in a tree~ Cats on the ground, dogs in a pound!" Singing to himself as he lathered up his hair until it was bubbly-white, Haro soon rinsed it out, but not before he experimentally sniffed a handful of the fluffy suds.
"Wah!" The stuff smelled weird!
---- [His song makes me laugh. <3; (I don't know where if came from, my mind is weird) I'll try to get a Wei post in here asap, but I'm having to go to dinner right now. >w>;;;]

Wei looked mildly surprised. "Endurance, eh? That's...interesting. Never thought you'd have to keep going that long," he murmured, glancing around as if looking for something.
"Hn, Where the hell is my watch...?"
Muttering under his breath, the dark haired man frowned heavily as he dubbed his watch missing before quickly walking towards the kitchen and glancing at the digital reading on the microwave. It had taken him longer than usual to get ready and what with their side talk with the landlord had set them back even more.
...and even after all his stalling he still couldn't think of anything to do. He could suggest going out to lunch somewhere nice in th city but...it was still a little bit early for that. What to do, what to do?
"Is there anything imparticular you'd like to do before I take you out to lunch?" Wei asked, swiveling around to look at the violinist.

He looked a little surprised at the question. "Oh - well - I mean..." He blushed and looked away. Of course, there was something he had been wanting to do, but... he didn't want to impose. And besides... he could do it later on his own - Wei probably wouldn't like it. "Well, umm... You - you don't need to take me out to lunch.... I - I can cook and I don't want to cause you any inconvenience..." he mumbled. "But... umm... I... would like to see the... the roses in the Everglory Park... If... If that's alright..." His face was a bright red - nearly as red as the roses he loved - as he spoke, his eyes not meeting the other's.
**
((Uwa, Haro is too cute. *dies* xD I'll... I'll have to... I dunno... teach that song to... the kids I... baby sit? xD *is too young to have kids*)) Shin set about cooking - it wasn't hard, mainly heating up leftovers and things... He left the pot to simmer and then made his way upstairs to search for some clothes for Haro. He found some of his clothes from a couple years ago, hoped it would fit Haro well enough - better, at least, than the clothes Shin wore now - and left the folded clothes on the floor outside the bathroom, writing a quick, but neatly written note that told Haro to use the clean clothes.
