Lilith gave smiled and accepted Wrath's hand with nary a backwards glance at her husband, allowing him to help her to her feet. She nodded at his suggestion of further alcohol and iced deserts.
"If it's not too much of a bother, we'd like Viki and Lucias to be roomed near us. They fret when we're not close. Scary dreams, don't you know?"
She walked beside Wrath, Lucifer and Envy trailing.

Envy
Envy drained her rum and coke and stood, her hands casually fluttering down to fix the fall of her skirt.
"It's a very fine white wine; I selected it myself. I found it in a cellar at the Caesar's, of all places."
She laughed softly at nothing in particularly and walked in step with Lucifer. They crowded into one of the elevators and rode it up to the top floor and her presidential suit. A scantily clad beautiful maid was just finishing serving up the ice cream and wine. She jumped to see her masters suddenly in the room.
"Is there aught else you require?"
Envy shook her head.
"No thank you, Yvette. We are fine here."

Seven percent? That isn't bad. Her section had only five, but then, she'd been more liberal with her artillery privileges then the others. Strength nodded.
"Detonate some buildings so they act as natural barriers, too, when we have to pull back again. Natural barriers."
Michael's expectations of no further retirements was...overconfident at best, naivety at worse. Strength blinked when Justice said the "L" word, not expecting it from the likes him. Before she could say anything about it, he was kissing her again. Not that she particularly minded, but still. And then he was gone and she felt oddly...empty. Strength didn't have the luxury of contemplating Justice when her runner finally found her.
"There you are. I've been looking for you. Commander Hope ordered his withdraw because he felt the moral of his soldiers failing, and he couldn't fix it. He saws it won't happen again."
Like hell. Strength rubbed her face tiredly. Hope had no place being on the front with them.
"Tell Hope I told him to work at the artillery pit; I'll put someone else in command on his section. Someone from my people."

Wrath
"They'll be in the same suite, just the Presidential suite takes up the whole floor, so it feels like they are somewhere else." Wrath noticed that she was actually walking very close to him and shuddered slightly. His hand went out and slid across her back and stayed there, slowly leading her to the suite. The maid left and Lucifer grabbed four glasses and poured the wine, he grabbed the four bowls of sorbet and set them out on the coffee table then sat next to Lilith holding her glass and his.

Lucifer had grabbed Envy's a** and squeezed hard enough to make her jump slightly, but he held in place.
"Yes, well they are young, so I don't think they will bother us at all." Lucifer laughed lightly as they entered the massive suite, and he eyed the maid and then the wine. He realized what wine it was.
"I thought that wine had been lost daughter. Crushed in the mass exodus of Rome when Wrath was killed and the barbarians invaded with Strength's blessing." It was a white wine from his personal vineyards outside Rome proper, but the last wine bottled had been five hundred years previous.

Justice
Justice could hear the rumble of armor moving through the streets of the city and he listened as it slowly drew closer to the sins line. Yes he was right, wen you had the worlds armies against you they would use everything. It was good that the Israel Air Force had been trained by the Americans, because no planes had made it past the Air Net. Well not till tomorrow. Justice was carrying three bags as her skirted the edge of the line and came close another boulevard large enough for a tank to pass through. He set explosives strategically around four buildings and gave them a number. He would box in tanks and create a barrier at the same time. Then call in surgical artillery right on top of the tanks. These places would also create bloody killing ground. Justice moved on, the pink of dawn approaching.

"Oh, good. The stamina of the youth...surprises me sometimes."
The warmth radiating off of Wrath was just comforting enough to Lilith that it relaxed the snob in her somewhat. She accepted her glass and sipped at it delicately. The flavor practically exploded into her mouth, making her smile again.
"Wonderful. Do I detect a bit of seared wood for flavoring?"

Envy
Envy smiled at Lucifer.
"I can't have my secrets?"
She'd been known as "Dionysus" to the Roman's and her loyalists, her maenads had light fingers. The white had been a favorite of her priestesses. Besides that bottle, she had another five stashed away for a "rainy day." She took her seat and poured herself a generous glass; she delicately smelled the wine.
"I do have to say it's gotten better with age."

Hope didn't like Strength's decision, but what was he going to say about it? Exactly. She stayed up through the night, watching over her boys and double checking their position as well as Hope's. All night long, she could hear the shouting of the sin's soldiers as they moved in through the city and resupplied. She could applaud the soldiers for being clever like that, even while she killed them. As the dawn approached, Strength hurried back towards her own line, ordering a stand-to; she didn't want to risk an attack with their pants down.

Wrath
Wrath wrapped an arm around Lilith a little more comfortable now as he drank the fine wine in his glass. Then he felt a slight pang of pain as he realized their combined forces with in the United States Military had made contact with the others.
"Seems are troops have landed." With Wrath and Envy's return to the fold his followers had seeped into the Marines till he had full control, Envy had taken over the Navy, a match made in heaven. Lucifer and Lilith still retained control over the Army and Air Force and all home defense forces.
"So then, I feel that you two are expecting a child, his mind is already potent enough to reach out and feel." Wrath's hand moved to Lilith's stomach and he could feel the heat there as another being grew slowly. It was intense.
"He will be powerful, that should be expected, parents like these two." Wrath raised his glass to Lucifer and then touched his to Lilith's.

Lucifer stopped his playing exploring of Envy when Wrath brought up his son safely inside her womb. He growled reflexively when Wrath's hand touched her stomach, but shook his head. How long has he had those Mental powers? No we've always had them, they were given to us by Jehovah, to communicate wherever we were. How have I forgotten that so easily.
"Yes well, I imagine he will be a good ruler once he murders us. For that is what will happen." Lucifer searched his mind for a language that Wrath wouldn't know, one he would never have learned and then found one and knew it would be perfect, a dead language, for the very reason only two people knew it for just over fifteen days. The one Jehovah first taught Adam and then Lilith, then forbade it spoken after Lilith's exile.
'Do not let him enter you, in any way. His seed can burn our son from your body, his mind can burn your loyalty if you are not wary. I had forgotten us original seven had those powers still.' Lucifer turned his head and continued to drink his wine.
"I have an idea Lilith, we have been nearly exclusive for to long. Shall we do what the humans do and swing. You know I've always wanted to play out my Daddy complex." Lucifer chuckled darkly as his finger play in her hair now.
'Make him pay for his hubris love, and then we shall keep his pain slut for our enjoyment.' Lucifer kissed Envy's cheek lightly.

Justice
Justice was in camo's matching the surrounding dusty buildings and desert back drop. The rumble of men and machine growing louder. He had a scope up to his eyes and was looking down on the scene. When the first layer of tanks entered the kill zone he pulled the trigger. An entire wall of buildings fell cutting the tanks off from the rest of the troops and killing hundreds of men and women, then he heard the high pitched scream of artillery rounds pounding off. Justice pulled the second trigger and the tanks were unable to move out of the way of the high impact round. Tanks became wreckage.
"All positions all main roads are blocked to heavy armor, expect foot infantry and light armor to come down side roads. Call me if you find yourself face to face with something stronger than grenade launchers." Justice and his seven man squad moved out.

"He is sure to be powerful."
'Whatever you say, Lucifer. You're the boss around here.' Lilith clinked cup against Wrath's nicely and turned towards Wrath, looking interesting.
"Swinging? You sure about that? I mean, you never know what's going to happen. I could fall madly and desperately in love with Wrath and never want to come back to your bed."
She half laughed and sipped again at the fine white.

Envy pretended not to notice when Lilith and Lucifer suddenly switched into a dead language and poured a little of the white into her sherbet. The thought of finally, finally having Lucifer, even if it's just for a single round made Envy more then a little moist.
"Swinging? You can only swing if you're together with someone. Wrath and I just work together, Lucifer. You should know that."
She tasted it, loving it's sharp and contrasting flavors.

Strength made sure her soldier's had wide ranges of fire along the roads of the city from the tops of the buildings. Slowly but surely they were beginning to be pushed back again. Damn it all. A bit of sun glinting off in the distance caught Strength's eyes and she focused on that. It was a column of tanks and LAV's; Strength's blood went cold.
"Get us a mass strike. Take out that armor column. They get close to us, and we're done for. And see if we can't poach some of Justice's sharp shooters. They have a few snipers out there already and they're taking quite a toll on us."
