Suddenly compelled to return to Lucinda, he had issues leaving her for too long now, the male Gardevoir stepped back into the room.
Liena smiled, dabbing a cloth in the water and reached up to clean his face.
"It's fine. I understand. You love your sister, but she's a big girl now. You can still watch her, you can still love her. Just not as closely. She needs space too."
Suddenly the female Gardevoir was all soothing and cheerful again. She'd been irritatd when she'd thought Mercutio was trying to cage his sister, but...now she saw he was just clinging to her for support.

   Lucinda---&--- Mercutio---&--- FlavioLucinda was sitting up on the bed when Alfred came back inside.
"I heard everything..." She said with a sigh.
"We always did everything together as kids..." The Gallade said softly.
"I promised her we'd always be the closest of friends... But now she's found someone closer..."
Mercutio was downright jealous of Alfred.
Not in any incestuous terms or anything like that, but he felt that Alfred was getting in between him and his sister.
"PROTECT ME?!" Flavio cried, wiping his face.
"You used me as a shield! How the ******** is that protecting me?!"
Needless to say, the Kirlia felt strongly against being used as a shield.

"I-I don't know what happened! That wasn't me!" The Combusken continued to wail without end. Unable to explain what happened any better. There were a lot of obviously strange things happening during that fight and this just seemed to be the outcome of one of them; none the less he felt as guilty as physically possible.

The Gardevoir sighed deeply and leaned his back against the door.
"I have no feud with your brother, granted I'm eventually going to get tired of being punched in the face, but he needs to figure out that I'm not kidnapping you or anything."
And soon. Alfred had enough worries without needing to look around every corner so he wasnt jumped by that ragefest of a Gallade.
"No one is ever closer than blood." Liena replied, making him sit down on a nearby bench before taking a seat herself.
"You need to live a little more than just you and her, do you understand? I know you worry, but...you need to find your own life too." She took his hand and smiled.
"Otherwise you'll get rather bored."

"He'll learn eventually. I know him, and even though he wants to protect me, he'll honor my own choices," She said.
Mercutio looked at his hand in Liena's, and then up at the Gardevoir.
"I've never done anything... Sociable in my life," He explained softly.
"I've never so much as had a conversation that didn't somehow involve my work or my sister..."
The Gallade shook his head and sighed.
"I've known nothing but boredom."
Flavio spat to the side, but since he couldn't see, he spat on a wall.
"It sure felt like your claws!" He hissed.
The Kirlia didn't want to be laying here, talking to this traitor of a friend.
"Why don't you just leave before you try to kill me again?!"

Knowing no more of what happened than what he already spoke of, Reo was out of an argument in his own defense. This left him with no other choice but to listen to his friend's pleas; his sobbing waning in volume as he stood from his seat and exited the room...

Yeah, but did that stop the face punching? That was Alfred's chief concern at the moment.
Instead of stating so, he attempted a smile.
"Well, at least he is distracted for now~ Seems to have a slight interest in that Gardevoir girl who works here."
Kid was cute, not his type personally, but cute.
Alfred apparently preferred women who could kick his a**.
Dominatrixes were hot~
"Well, we had a nice conversation about your name earlier." Liena pointed out, her free hand waving lightly to get his attention.
"You seem capable of decent enough conversation~"

Lucinda---&--- Mercutio---&--- Flavio"Good!" Lucinda exclaimed.
"He really needs to settle down, and I think a steady girl is a good first step!"
The female stood up and went over to Alfred, taking his hand.
"She's prettier than me, right? It's alright, you can say it. I really hope she is, actually."
Wouldn't want Mercutio dating some kind of ugly slob.
"W-We talked about me the whole time..." Mercutio replied softly.
"Why don't we talk about you...? I mean, you're pretty enough to win contests, I don't see why your in a place like this, working in a hospital."
Within the next five minutes, Flavio ended up crying himself to sleep.

Alfred smirked.
"She's hideous, horrible disgusting, I wouldnt touch her with a twenty foot p- You're not buying any of this are you?"
He laughed, shaking his head.
"She's a cute kid, not my type. She seems your brother's though. Someone sweet to balance his SOUR."
The Gardevoir made a face, tongue sticking out.
He was joking of course~
"Me?" The Gardevoir's face went red.
"W-well, not much to say. My mother came from a rather...uh...interesting clan. She wasnt born there, she just ran across it when she was younger. It wasnt a very nice place, so she left when she became a Gardevoir...sometime after having me." Left was an understatement. The poor woman had run like hell from that place. With Liena in tow, though she had been a Ralts at the time.
"She enrolled me in this guild almost immediately afterwards, I havent heard from her since and I've never met my father, but it's not so bad here. I rather like it."

"Maybe now he'll finally know why I'm so adamant about keeping you~"
With that, she bestowed Alfred with a kiss.
"I see..." Mercutio said after listening to Liena's story.
"It's a pity I'm not with the Agency anymore. I could have put in a request to find your mother."

Though said in a joking tone he was as serious as possible. The Gardevoir lifted one hand to her face before sliding it to the back of her neck while the other fell to her waist.
'Arceus, what am I doing?'
"It's f-fine! Thank you though. I'm sure she'll show up eventually. She was a free spirit. I heard that she disliked that clan because they had issues with my father." She giggled. "He was a Blaziken and my mother was never one to obey rules anyways, apparently they had some rule on interspecies or something. Bunch of Nazis if you ask me." The usually cheerful Gardevoir's tone dropped slightly at the word. Even Liena could hold a grudge.

The Gallade sighed a little.
"It must be nice, being able to hope that you have a parent out there looking for you..." He muttered softly.

He stated, leaning down for another kiss when he winced and then coughed into his hand, small red drops splattering across his fist.
Arc'dammit all! Horrible headache!
"Damn you, that hurt!" He shouted angrily at the ceiling, looking for all the world that he was talking to his self, but that was not so.
'Quit whining! We have a problem! Normally I wouldnt break a mental block but you need to get your a** here now!'
'...no.'
'...what?'
'Got to hell. I quit.', he inwardly snarled and set up a stronger block, a more permeneant type.
...
What had he just done?
"What about your parents?" She chanced asking, a frown on her face.
It must be awful not to have someone to run to. Nnot that she currently had one herself, but...eventually.

By now, she knew exactly who it was.
"LEAVE HIM THE ******** ALONE!" She shouted.
Mercutio slowly shook his head.
"My parents were killed when Lucinda and I were still babies," He explained.
Not long after that, the Agency took us in..."

"It's fine..." He raised a hand and pulled her towards him.
"Looks like I need a new job."
"I am inclined to disagree." A voice commented, not telepathically either.
Sitting on the edge of the window sill was a Houndoom. Though it was easily determined this creature was not an actual one.
"You wanted to meet me so badly, girl?"
At that Alfred stepped forward, pushing Lucinda behind him.
"...cute.", the dog snarled sarcastically. "Dont be stupid, Al. I know how much you hate fire types. Piss me off and I'll finish what your clan started. "
The Gardevoir wavered, frowning, but did not move.
"I'm-I'm sorry!" Why did she have to ask such a stupid thing?!
"I didnt mean to-" The female psychic paused, something was throwing her psychic powers off. ItT made her nervous, whatever it was.
