 BawllyThe Phanpy whipped around, startled. She stared wildly at the Zangoose before realizing there wasn't a threat. "Oh. Sorry." she said, blushing. She still wasn't used to this kind of life. Civilized as it were. "I'm unfamiliar with this place. But, if i'm correct, it should be near the front of the guild." She paused unsure what to say, "Uhm... what's your name?"

Front of the guild...where was that? Klash was starting to get annoyed with her own ignorance. Since she was likely to get lost anyway,she decided to keep up a conversation with the Phanpy. "Klash...but isn't it more polite to state your name first?" she replied,feeling a bit of her defensive nature kicking in

Bawlly The Phanpy looked confused. "My apologies, still getting used to this. My name is Bawlly," she replied, "Nice to meet you? Er, how long have you been here?" Her accent was thick, and she tried to tone it down some in fear of being made fun of.

Klash shrugged,"I don't know...a couple weeks or so..." she didn't seem very keen on talking about herself. "How about you? Telling by your accent,you don't seem to be around here either..." she pointed out,trying to keep the attention off of her.

Bawlly Bawlly's eyes widened and in her mind she was thinking about charging into a wall. But she calmly spoke, "Actually I'm from the desert... Not too far from here but we don't associate with the other populations much." She spoke softly due to embarrassment. At least the Zangoose hadn't said anything rude. "I've only been here a few days myself." Bawlly cast her eyes down.

"Interesting,I haven't met anyone from the desert before..." Klash replied,and began to click her claws together again. "What's it like out there?" she asked,curious about life in the desert. Klash hoped that she wasn't invading Bawlly's past too much,considering how embarrassed she seemed.

Bawlly "Oh, it's just you know..." Bawlly began, while eying Klash's claws. She wasn't sure how to explain it. "It's everything," she sighed, "People are closer and the sun is so much warmer. The sand under your feet feels so wonderful too..." Bawlly was almost off in another world. She didn't realize how much she had missed it already. "Do you miss where you are from as well?" she wondered.

Klash sighed, "You could say that..." she looked away from Bawlly with embarrassment. Her mind began to wonder to her old life,and she quickly shook her head to rid of the thoughts. Klash realized that she probably looked silly to the Phanpy.

Bawlly The Phanpy watched Klash. She probably stirred up something unwanted in the Zangoose's mind. Something unwanted or perhaps something she missed and wanted to forget. "My apologies. Another subject? I'm bad with this conversating..." Bawlly's mind wandered. She wanted to hit herself for not being able to think of something. "What do the pokemon here normally talk about-?" She wondered out loud. Then she saw a big monarch butterfly fly between them and she stared at it in awe. "Wha- What is that!?" Bawlly gasped, jumping backwards.

Klash couldn't help but chuckle, "it's a butterfly..." she explained,holding up a claw for the little creature to land on. She was showing a bit of her soft side now as she watched the little insect move along her claw. "You didn't have any creatures like this in the desert?" she seemed a bit surprised,then again,she had never ventured out to the desert.

Bawlly Bawlly shook her head. "It is mostly just us pokemon. Maybe a few of those yummy scarabs and beetles, but nothing else." Her eyes were trained on the butterfly crawling up Klash's claw. "Do you eat them?" she asked.

Klash laughed,which was a little rare, "No,you don't eat them...or at least,I don't..." she watched the butterfly with trained eyes. She lowered her claw toward the Phanpy,giving her a better look at the creature.

Bawlly Bawlly smiled at Klash's laugh. It was a nice laugh. "Oh, i see..." Bawlly said, sniffing the butterfly with her trunk. "I guess it's too pretty to eat, huh?" Bawlly smiled.

"Yeah..." Klash sighed,she didn't like showing her soft side to others. She clicked her claws together,making the creature fly away, "Anyway...have you seen a cyndaquil around here? Lazy? Wears a small necklace?" the Zangoose asked. Trev had been skipping on his leadership lately,and Klash wasn't about to just let him lay about while she did all the work.
