Something snapped.

Without a word to the other two, the noble turned and sent a dart of power towards the portal, activating it just long enough for them to step through.

He went in first, his patience spent and his mission unfinished.

Vaswedes apparated in person, levitating above the portal. "Welcome, welcome!" He cheered in a lovely tune."As you cans see the portal was already completed, I just needed to ploy in someone to activate it."

He grinned, and clapped his hands together as if ready to eat a fine meal."And now you may join your wife." He lifted his hands, and the portal began to suck the group in.

A golem made a grab for Farskon.

Scribbler followed quickly, throwing up a ward of ink against whatever lay beyond the portal's gates.
She hoped it was soon enough.

The rather melodramatic introduction was wasted on the Saxon, who had already charged through the portal and was on the other side, now even more determined to find what he sought.

[[Anyone gonna stop Farskon from getting nabbed? Guess not >.<

Unless CU does so, Farskon's gonna be gone for a while ]]

Farskon attempted to jump into the portal after them, but he had to dodge the golems grab. He sliced it's flank, and then he noticed he was surrounded. He fought them off, but he knew there would be no way out for him.

There was a restrained sigh of impatience, and a black-clad arm reached back through the portal, grabbing Farkson and yanking him through quite unceremoniously.

The templar had come to the Black Forest, hearing of strange disappearances and strange lights being sighted amongst the trees. At first, Erik believed it to be the work of the faeries, as they were quite numerous in the forests. Perhaps it could be something worse. After much walking, Erik happened upon a portal. He looked around and put up a ward before entering. Normally it wouldn't be a good idea to walk through an unknown portal, but Erik had lived for centuries and had travelled through many areas unknown and dangerous.

Edit: ((Remus had to leave the party to see to more pressing Imperial affairs.))

[...yeah, swooshed. In reverse or something.]

"...!"
There it was again, the sense of impending doom; she couldn't identify it while they were still on the other side, but now that they were through, it pulsed like a living thing.
The dim lighting didn't help either.

"Sorry..."

Unfortunately for the Templar all the portals where linked at the moment with the large one in the Darkling world. The templar was pulled in with the main group.

Farskon plopped on to the ground, and got up as quickly as he could tot he already standing Scribbler, and Sorcerer.

His jaws gaped, and he looked up at this surreal sight."Whoa."

There was what looked like a peaceful manor, yet it was labeled in Darkling Language. It had a strict look to the letters as if it was a place of testing, and research.

The paladin got closer to the sign, and did not know why he did so. It wasn't as if getting a better look would de-code the characters.

And then was the true amazing part, below them was what looked like a small town. Like one of those train model sets, but it was accurately modeled to the Black Magic Village and warded with a magical shield.

[Emma says she has to leave for ~2 hours.]

Scribbler moved towards the small model town, watching the miniature golems and Soulless patrol the area.
"...so it was all an illusion, then?"

The clanking of metal armour alerted her to another presence. Scribbler's brush flicked out instinctively, and she turned to face Erik.
"...?"

"I'm not sure, but we better not touch it," He replied, and then turned to see a knight."What the?!"

The Paladin jumped back, and slipped out his blades in alarm.

Erik appeared on the other side of the portal to find himself facing a strange group. The templar instinctively drew his weapon and pointed in Scribbler's direction.

"Are you the ones behind all these strange occurrences?" he asked the group. His chainsword was held steady and the templar didn't show any sign of fear or hesitation.

"Blimey, no!" He replied, and then realized that the Templar must just be a clueless wanderer. He slipped his blades back in his sleeves, and replied."We're here to stop this mess too."

The inkmancer's eyes narrowed at the chainsword, and she gripped her paintbrush more firmly in preparation of a possible fight.

"...You're not working for him, are you?" she ventured at his words, relaxing somewhat.

Dimly, she wondered why the templar was pointing his sword at her instead of at anyone else.

"If you are referring to the Lord God, then yes. I do work for him." the templar replied to the Scribbler. "If it's someone else, then no."

Erik cast a quick glance to Farskon. "And you! If you're here to stop this, then perhaps you can enlighten me as to why all these foul energies are suddenly appearing?"
