 ╪ ║ §chuyler ßarron ║ ╪ Don't judge....Schuyler kept her phone in her hands in case Tyler would text her again, and as she had thought...he did. She flipped her phone open with a big smile and read his message. Even though it was just a couple of words on a small phone screen, it still made her heart flutter. She hit the reply button and typed out her message.
I hope I can get to you sooner...I've missed you all day love. Sky texted back and frowned. Did that make her sound desperate? She replied again
I love you Ty. Don't forget that. <3 Sky smiled and closed her phone again.

Tyler felt his phone vibrate in his pants pocket and smile a bit as he took a break to drink his coffee. He read the message and had a beaming smile on his face. She missed him, Sky missed him and that made him feel happy that she wanted to see him more.
He was about to start texting her back when he saw the second message that also made him smile happily. I hope its sooner rather than later too love... I've missed you so much... I just want get you here, curl up on the couch, watch a movie with you in each other's embrace. I love you Sky, don't ever forget that either. <3 He sent it back and smiled, sure at times he seemed sissy with the way he expressed himself but he was a fool in love with her.

They arrived at the creamery in a few minutes but Sky had been texting most of the walk there so David didn't say much. He held the door for her and they stepped into a fifties style soda bar. There was a college aged girl behind the counter with wavy red hair, her family owned the place.
"One medium lemon cone for me and... What would you like Sky?"
He turned to the girl and tilted his head curiously. She was still holding her phone in her hand, not very polite But he would have been rude to comment on it.

Beck couldn't relax, she was nervous and worried not only about herself but about Tyler now too. She had driven him to drinking because he couldn't take the pressure. And now she felt the weight of that on her slim pale freckled shoulders. The sat up on the couch and wrapped her arms around her legs looking out into the dark clean empty room. She needed to relax, to get the weight off. Tyler had turned to Alcohol... But that could kill you. She knew that David could get her Pot if she called him, and there was always the option of taking one of her dad's anti-depressants. But this weight might be solved with a little change. That might help. The girl got up and walked upstairs into the bathroom, she took a pair of scissors out of the drawer and put a towel down over this sink. The first cut was the most nerve wracking. The second was exciting, after that it was only about a half hour before most of her hair was on the towel. She put the scissors down and examined her hand work in the mirror. It was short, a bob length with a wafty bit in front, a good change.

Tyler stood in his kitchen feeling better. At a 120 pounds and only four drinks he would be able to burn it off a bit. As he looked around the room and started to talk, he could hear his voice had come back and he was able to walk a straight line, he certainly wasn't going to drive for another four or five hours to be safe but he could walk and he was going to walk to Beck's and apologize to her.
He started to walk to Beck's house, those his head felt funny he took some aspirin as he walked over to her house. He opened the back door and walked inside. "Hey Beck, its Tyler... can we talk?" He called out to her and sat down at the staircase as he looked up and called up to her again.

Hearing Tyler's voice from down stairs beck rolled up the towel that contained her hair and flapped it out the window then tossed it in the hamper. She walked out into the hallway at the top of the stairs and looked down at Tyler sitting there.
"What do you need to talk about?"
She asked and sat down on the top step. The girl raised a hand to run though her newly short hair and thought in the back of her mind that she should go to the salon the next day and get it trimmed up neater. But now Tyler wanted to talk, so she would listen and try to be the best friend she could.

Tyler looked up at her on the stairs. "Well I... I wow, you cut your hair." He told her softly as he walked up the stairs, showing his sobriety as he reached up and ran his hand through it. "It looks great Beck, but now I have nothing to play with when I'm hugging you." He teased a bit and then hugged her softly making sure they were both away from the steps as he carried her into the hall in case he stumbled with her.
"What I did before was wrong. Some... of those things needed to be said.... but not in that fashion not in that way." He told her softly and gave the girl a small peck on the lips. "And you didn't need to see me that way... I'm sorry..." He spoke again softly as he let her go

Beck shrugged and let the boy carry her into the hall before she felt him peck her lips and hug her. He felt guilty about what he had said, but none of it had really bothered her, he hadn't insulted her or anything so she wasn't to angry.
"I needed a change, and the booze is to high up for me to reach."
She smirked and swallowed hard. He sounded full of guilt, as if it was all his fault, and it wasn't.
"It's okay Tyler, Just try not to do it again. I- You know how I feel about being around anyone who's drunk. It's scary. really, really scary."

Tyler nodded to her and smiled a bit at her joke but frowned as well knowing it was an odd joke for her. "No, I won't don't worry about it.... I'm not gonna be that way again... my friends need me to be better than that so I won't be dropping the ball like that." He told her as he rubbed his head a bit and then hugged her again tightly. "I love you Beck, I'm sorry... I'm sorry I hurt you, I don't know if my words did, or how you saw me." He told her honestly before letting her go with a faint smile on his face.

The girl took a deep breath before looking up at her friend, he always acted like they needed him but in reality they just liked having him around, there was no need. He needed to understand that and stop putting all of this weight on his own shoulders.
"Tyler... Listen. We don't need you, If you took off sure we would be a little sad but no one would die, you need to worry about yourself before you worry about us.... and when you said that you didn't want to mess me up any more than I already was, were you calling me messed up? Because I'm not."
Beck crossed her arms and leaned back against the wall to look up at the boy.

Tyler looked into her eyes as he leaned against the other wall. His eyes visually showed the hurt when she bluntly said they didn't need him. To be honest it hurt him to think that he could be so expendable to his friends. But he had more important things to say and deal with in that moment with her statement.
He rubbed his forehead as he tried to remember saying that. "No, I didn't mean it like that. You had received the bad news about your breasts just hours before. I meant that you didn't need me being a jerky douchebag, and less supportive of you when you might need my help, or a shoulder to cry on, a person to vent to...." He told her softly as he glanced away from her ashamed he had said something like that to her before in a drunken haze.

╪ ║ §chuyler ßarron ║ ╪ Don't judge....Schuyler received the next message from Tyler but she didn't reply. She and David had reached the ice cream parlor and she stuck her phone back into her purse. The place held the ambiance of an old fashioned creamery and that made her smile instantly. If it was anything, the old fashioned 50's days made her happy...everyone was just so upbeat. Sky looked around, a little overwhelmed but the sight and smells but the David's voice brought her back. Schuyler blinked and shook her head, she shouldn't blank out so much.
"Oh um....just....you know this place better than I do. What do you recommend?" Sky asked him with a smile, she would most definitely have to thank him for treating her out like this later on. Though she asked him the question, Schuyler's hand reached into her purse to grab her wallet, of course she was trying her very hardest to act discreet so he wouldn't catch her. This time she would foot the bill like he had for her earlier.

"Tyler.... I've been thinking... So if I'm going to loose my breasts anyway I think I want to well... Become male... Okay?"
The girl looked downward blushing slightly with embarrassment. It had been something she had always thought about but this was like the perfect opportunity to make the transition. But it was also something completely new, she'd never vocalized this thought and it sounded odd coming out of her mouth, like a dream.
"Not that it's your choice, It's mine. But if I did... How would you feel?"
The young woman looked up at him and uncrossed her arms, holding her head high.
this was something she wanted, something she felt like she might need.

Tyler was more shocked as he heard about her idea to become a man. He didn't know that he she ever considered the idea as he looked at her softly. "Hey Beck... I ummm, I... I would be happy for you. And I'd say that you'd be the only boy I'd ever go gay for." He joked a bit softly and smiled at her a bit. "But if this is because you are losing your breasts, I'd say its a foolish idea... if you want to be a man, than be a man but don't say you want to be a man because you are going to lose a part of you that everyone defines as a woman characteristic." He told her honestly but then he walked over to her and hugged her softly to his chest. "I will stand by you for almost anything but three things, you being a whore, you dating a man who you can't grow with and mature with, and anything that compromises your values. Anything else I'll support you to the death with."

Beck let the boy hug her and she thought horribly quickly as he spoke, he thought this was a new idea... he didn't understand. Maybe she should explain, but it was awkward and weird. thinking about it made her feel like he, or someone else close to her would misunderstand.
"I've always wanted to be a man Tyler. But... I was afraid someone would.... misunderstand. I was scared that you will not get it. Because well... Even as a man I'd look pretty girly."
She took a deep breath and looked up at the boy's face. He might be angry that he had never mentioned it before, or maybe not. Ir was hard to say.
