Hiro stared at her, trying to keep his eyes open. He was still clutching his own throat, but the sword he had raised towards her was lowering slightly. His grip upon it was growing slack, but he forced himself to keep hold. He grunted softly, narrowed eyes still fixed upon her. He blinked as she suddenly apologized, thinking she'd realized what she was doing and was ready to stop.

But his eyes widened again as she giggled right after and her hand jerked to the side. Hiro felt his body move with it, being thrown suddenly to the side. Immediately his wings reacted, spreading to their full length behind him. They flapped hard once to slow his pace, then again to straighten his body. His grip tightened on his sword as his other hand rubbed cautiously at his throat.

He floated up towards the ceiling, hoping to give himself some more time to recover. He was breathing heavily, trying to regain the breath he'd temporarily been deprived of. All the while, his eyes stayed fixed upon her. He knew there wasn't much he could do if she tried that again, but his mind went off thinking of ways to counter it should the need arise.

His eyes were settled upon her wound even as his mind wandered about strategy. "We need to stop," he suddenly said, voice cold and level. "You need to let me look at that injury." His eyes darted from his sword, dripping blood, then back to her again.

Glancing about he knew he had to be in the wrong place. There were people training everywhere and he wasn't one for the fisticuffs. Sighing he looked around again wondering their was a map of some kind. Seeing none he realized he would have to ask another student, but they intimidated him so D:. Scratching his head he sat down and waited to see if he could ask someone who wasn't busy. As he watched the people in the hall one fight in particular caught his eye. It appeared to be a boy with wings and some kind of psychic girl fighting. The only thing that came to his mind at the moment was "Scary". Glad that no one was picking on him he leaned against the cold steel bench and began to drift off to sleep. >.>

Seeing a senpai who wasn't busy. He quickly walked up and asked how to get to the hotsprings. A pleasent face appeared onto the senpai and he quickly told him where to go. Thanking him he quicklygathered his things and left not noticing the decieving look in his eyes.

Alyssa giggled again, watching Hiro fly off to the ceiling to regain himself and his breath. The daggers that had been lying on the floor scattered about rose and flew into each of Alyssa's hands; one of her hands covered in the black blood which she was loosing rapidly.

Alyssa's eyes glinted two different colors that were swirling about within her iris' mysteriously:deep purple, and a bright red. Two spirits were fighting to gain control over her mind, and Alyssa wasn't allowing whomever it was to take over her body. She growled in her throat as she began blocking out the demon spirit with a telepathic bubble that kept all thoughts and other objects away from her mind; it was taking some energy.

When Hiro spoke so coldly toward her, something within Alyssa cracked...her heart possibly...pfft..never. She staggered over to the wall and rested her bloody hand against it, and let the dagger cut into her flesh as if it did not matter. "I don't think so Hiro. You agreed to a fight, and I expect nothing more or less....I will not lose.." She whispered, her lips barely moving to make the words; therefore her words seemed slurred and hard to understand.

"I will not lose!" Alyssa repeated once again with a loud, booming voice. She closed her eyes and formed a telekinetic bubble infront of her; it looked like a sheild. Alyssa mumbled harsh words to herself as she stayed focused upon her task to create this blockage of telekinetic energy. Alyssa no longer cared what Hiro did right now; she was too distracted by the enormous amount of energy.

Hiro's eyes followed the daggers as they moved, half expecting them to fly towards him. But he breathed out slowly as they didn't once more mostly in control of his breathing. He stayed hovering around the ceiling though, unwilling to move down just yet. He'd wait and see what she would do first. So he continued staring intently at her, blinking in surprise as he saw her eyes. He gazed into them, watching the colors swirling around almost in fascination. But he quickly blinked himself out of it as he reminded himself he needed to keep his gaurd up.

He watched her move to the wall, inwardly wincing as the dagger pierced her skin. He dropped down a few feet, then flapped his wings to steady himself once more as he watched her speak, but her words were hard to make out. His eyes narrowed however, as she suddenly shouted loudly and the bubble formed. He moved away again, watching it warily. After a moment, he suddenly darted forward, swinging his sword at the bubble, just to see if he could break it or not. His other hand was tense and ready, as well as his wings to pull him sharply back again if needed.

Alyssa suddenly jerked her head up in Hiro's direction in utter insanity. Her hair was matted and unkept looking while her grin just made Alyssa's appearence that of a crazed cerial killer. She waited for a few moments for Hiro to get into attacking distance; her eyes darting from her sheild to Hiro in a crazed fashion, but when Hiro got close enough Alyssa could have cared less what had happened.

Alyssa chuckled and let her hands drop to her sides. The bubble, which appeared to be protecting her was actually a mass amount of energy that Alyssa was building up from her own self being. The entire bubble-like substance flew toward Hiro at an extremely fast pace. Hiro's sword had no way of touching Alyssa at this point in time; he was reacting to slow.

However, when the blast left Alyssa, she dropped to the ground in agony. Since she had been using so much of her own self to contribute to the strength of the attack, Alyssa could barely return to standing up. Bleeding cuts littered her entire body, and her clothes were ripped nearly to shreads; not to mention the fact that her side was bleeding more profusely now more than ever. She was praying tht this attack would finish off Hiro so she could be the victor as usual.

Hiro charged at the bubble she'd made, eyes widening in mid swing as it suddenly came at him. The sword changed direction on its way down and angled in front of him, his hand pressed to the flat of the blade and his other clutching the hilt. He shut his eyes and clenched his teeth as he braced himself, grunting loudly as it hit him.

He felt himself pushed roughly backwards, his back slamming into the wall and his wings crumpling behind him. His sword was forced from his grasp and fell to the ground below, landing with its point stuck in the ground. He himself remained flattened against the wall for a second, his hands crossed over his face.

Then he suddenly realized he was falling, but his wings wouldn't respond. He reached behind himself, hands at either side as his claws dug into the wall. This served to slow his pace somewhat, but he still hit the ground hard. He slumped against the wall, covered in bruises and his eyes even stil shut. But a moment later, his hand began glowing a very faint purple, the light traveling along almost automatically to heal his bruises and scrapes quickly. He forced one eye open to watched Alyssa as this took place. From the trouble he had breathing, some of his ribs might have been broken. They were at least bruised.

Alyssa took a long, deep breath as she watched Hiro hit the wall; she thought it was all over. Layers of her hair fell over the delicate face that was now considered a mess. She didn't even look like Alyssa anymore...there was such an eerie mist about her that not even she could explain.

The smile of victory that was plastered on her face suddenly disappeared when she saw the faint, purple light healing all of Hiro's wounds; he didn't even seem hurt. Her jaw dropped in anger, and disbelief; he never spoke of his healing abilities...maybe Alyssa just didn't listen. "Y-You..." Alyssa spoke faintly, trying desperately to reach her feet. To her, this fight was not over just yet.

However, her legs would not do as Alyssa wanted them to. As she was just about to stand fully, her knees cracked loudly. She crumpled onto the floor, screaming in pain, her bloody hands wrapping around her obviously broken kneecaps. Blood trickled out the corner of her mouth and dripped slowly onto the floor as if counting down the minutes until Alyssa would die. Alyssa's body was no longer willing to fight in this battle, and if she didn't stop her body would also give up supporting her life.

Alyssa rocked back and forth like a small child on her lower body, keeping her legs off the cement floor. Blood encircled her body; her own blood. She shivered as the color, or what color she had, drained from her face and every part of her body.

Keryou walked into the training hall. She was still new to this school and had no friends at this point. She was just exploring every thing. She heard fighting behind a few doors, but she didn't dare open one. She wasn't as skilled as the others in battle and didn't want to provoke them. She traveled down the hallway, looking at all the battle weapons. "Wow... This place really does have it all." She said under her breath. She found a small seat near the back of the room and sat down. "Too bad i'm lost" She sighed and put some books down on the table. "Maybe i can get some study time in?" She lefted her hand and snapped her fingers and a small spark fluttered for a few seconds, then went out. "Huh... Getting better* she smiled and kept working on it.

Hiro winced as he raised his head, trying to better see her. His eyes widened as he watched her trying to stand. "D-don't, you'll-" he began, but stopped suddenly as he heard the loud cracks. He gritted his teeth as he dragged himself to his knees, both hands glowing now. He slowly half crawled, half dragged himself towards her, pausing several feet away. He didn't know if he could approach yet, as she hadn't been acting like herself at all.

He frowned, his sword back against the far wall where it'd landed when he dropped it. Currently, all he had were his claws and his hands which were still both glowing softly. His cold expression softened somewhat as he wasw her rocking back and forth and he slid a couple feet closer, still breathing heavily. "H-hey, will you please let me heal you...?" he asked slowly, wincing as he spoke. He moved even closer, now only a foot or two between them.

The light from his hands drifted slowly towards her, settling gently on her wounds as it already began going to work healing her. Hiro remained on his knees, hands both planted on the ground to hold himself up. His mouth hung open as he gasped for air, though each breath brought a sharp pain to his chest.

Alyssa twitched in a daring way as she glanced over at Hiro as he moved closer and closer toward her broken self. She hissed at him as his presence grew, but she barely had enough energy to do that to make any sort of intimidation. Alyssa coughed harshly, letting the blood splatter on the hard, cement floor to the side of her; the blood splatter looked like a gun had shot through her somewhere; quite eerie.

When Hiro asked to heal her, Alyssa growled menacingly and tried to lunge at him, but only caused herself twice as much agony as before. She crumpled onto the floor, still clutching to her side and knees. A tear escaped one of her oddly colored eyes and dropped down onto the floor with a soft 'tap' noise.

"I-I'm...fine..." she muttered through gritted teeth, but Hiro had already begun trying to heal her. Alyssa used some of the little energy she had left to swat him away; she regretted this after she had done so but said nothing.

Alyssa finally took notice of how badly Hiro was injured; what she herself had done to him. She winced when she heard how raspy his breath was, and figured that ribs were broken and peircing his lungs painfully. Alyssa sighed faintly and wiped the blood river away from her lip.

She gasped for another breath of air when she glanced up at Hiro with difficulty, starting to feel guilty about this whole thing. "H-Heal yourself...dumbass..." Alyssa sat up and groaned in pain as she did so. Alyssa heard her body crack as she shifted her position to face Hiro with a regretful smile, "s-sorry..."

Hiro watched her, still on his hands and knees. He completely ignored the hiss she gave, and only winced as she coughed afterwards. How had things gotten so out of hand? He gritted his teeth once more as she lunged, then side quietly. "You are not fine," he said softly, forcing himslf not to stammer. He still found each breath was painful though, but she seemed in worse shape than himself.

He moved a bit closer after her last attempt to swat him away, the healing becoming more effective at the nearer range. As she told him to heal himself, he simply shook his head and offered a rather pained smile. "No," he said shortly and only increased the rate he was healing her. His hands glowed a bit brighter, then light moving more swiftly towards her injuries and settling swiftly in as the skin began to slowly heal itself. He focused primarily upon the sword wound he'd given her himself, feeling immensely guilty about it. How did things get so out of hand? he asked himself again.

He blinked at her apology and shook his head. "D-don't worry about it..." he mumbled, leaning further towards her and then lowering himself to the ground. He lay on his back beside her, staring up at the ceiling. One of his hands reach out, clasping hers, and speeding up the healing process even further.

"...I-It got bad...because....I-" she cut herself off, feeling the warmth of her blood being produced at a much faster rate, and the separated flesh sewing itself back together. Alyssa took a deep, replenishing breath, letting her lungs fill with the oxygen she so desperately needed.

She tugged at his hand gently, releasing the hold he had on her. "I-I'm fine alright? Now heal yourself up already." Alyssa demanded with a finalizing tone; she would get her way no matter how much Hiro refused. "You're a mess." Alyssa looked down at him with her originally Red Clay eyes. The same sarcastic, sweetheart he had met earlier.

Though Alyssa was still quite a mess herself, all the fatal injuries had been healed by Hiro, she was sure she could handle two broken kneecaps and a few broken ribs.

Alyssa groaned as she looked down at the bloody mess she had created. It could have been a heaven for all Vampire's and Vampress's whom were desperate to find some food, and that made a shiver fly down Alyssa's back; that was a load of blood. She would have been dead if she had been pure human, but thanks to her Vampric side Alyssa could hold out much longer. "I doubt you can fix me up all the way anyway...at least I could get myself over there.." She was referring to the Hospital. Even though she hated being treated like a patient, what other choice did she have?

Hiro turned his head so he could see her, too tired to even raise his brow in surprise that she'd read his mind like he normally did. He listened as she breathed in again, and then took his own jagged breath of air. He listened to her demand and saw her look down at him. He smiled weakly and then slowly moved the hand that was not clasping hers to his own stomach. The glow began moving towards himself now, sinking into the skin to do away with the bruises and then moving on to the ribs after a moment more.

His eyes closed as he winced, inhaling sharply and then quieting. The glow surrounding his hands diminished somewhat but kept moving slightly, flickering every now and then. Hiro himself had just lost consciousness as he lay on his back on the floor, still holding Alyssa's hand gently, until his suddenly went limp, fingers uncurling from hers. He'd only used his healing powers once before and not anywhere as much as this. He'd been becoming steadily more dizzy, but it'd finally become overwhelming and he'd passed out from the strain. Somehow though, he kept healing himself, but at a very slow pace until it finally stopped altogether, the purple light fading from around his hands.
