Kaori watched him nervously, not sure what was going on. "Ar-are you sure there's nothing wrong?" she asked, not really believing him. Why would he bring something up and then hide it again? Is he afraid I'll get hurt? she thought to herself, recalling that he'd been there when she'd been hit in the eye with Mergex's acid. But still, she wanted to believe she could help them and not be thought of as something that they would only have to worry about during a fight. "If there is something happening," she said slowly. "I'd like to know about it." She gazed up at him in determination, waiting for a reply.

Yume stood also, taking her towel and she pecked Pander on the cheek and walking towards the women's changing rooms. She dried off and put on her clothes, eager to go get the Latte she was craving right now. She waited outside for Pander and started to hum a tune.

I told you I'd come and get you...

She turned around and saw Ishimaru there, his darker side emerged. No wonder he wanted me to run... She backed up away from him, but he just kept following her, until she could feel the heat from one of the springs touching her leg.

Why are you doing this to me?

Ishimaru looked genuinely hurt, and grabbed Yume's arm before she could move backwards any further and fall into the hotsprings. She whimpered, thinking he was going to harm her somehow. He pulled her to him, her head resting on his chest.

I'll take better care of you than he will. I'll love you better. I'll give you everything you want! Just...come back to me...please?

He leaned down and captured her lips gently. Yume stopped trying to struggle, because his grip was becoming tighter. She just gave up and stood there, defeated.

Kaori's eyes widened slightly. Her first thought was 'how does Sai know?' but she quickly decided that wasn't very important right now. "S-so... they'll be fine?" she asked quietly. "Are you sure?" She still had so many things left to learn about Kai, and the same with Meghan. She'd enjoyed immensly the time they'd shared so far, and didn't want something to happen that would mess things up. "There's nothing we can do?" she added anxiously.

He pulled on his clothes and weapons quickly. He really wanted that coffee. Walking out of the change room he saw Yume with another man. They were kissing. His left hand went to his blood red rapier which was strapped to his right hip but he let it drop.

His blood boiled in his veins but Yume knew where he was going. If she wanted to find him she could. They way those two were going at it, he didn't want to interupt. He turned and walked out, heading off campus to find that cafe he had seen.

Sai stood there, looking away as though he was innocent. "You okay?" he finally asked, laughing for a moment. He knew that Kaori was feeling ify about what he said, but what else was there? He couldn't tell her about Sora; she'd freak out, more than likely. Even Kai seemed to be slightly shaken when he'd found out. She'll find out... when we see them; if it gets that far, he thought, sighing. He ran a finger around in the water, in no particular pattern, watching as the ripples collided with each other.

Kaori regained her composure and straightened, making sure her towel was still in place before moving back towards Sai. She watched him for a moment, still wondering if she really sure feel at ease enough to relax. Then she sighed and leaned her back againt the side of the pool, arms crossed over her chest. But she didn't say anything, just watching Sai mess with the water in silence.

Kaori jumped as the water hit her again. "I-I'm not down!" she protested hastily, but the quickness of her response basically gave it away. She sighed again quietly and then glanced up at him. "I'm fine, really." She wiped the water he'd splashed from her face and flung some back at him in return, tilting her head until she'd see if she hit or not.
