That gates of Grass seemed to tower above her for miles. The teen swayed in her spot as she stared up blankly. Her lips were dry and chapped and her dark hued eyes seemed bruised with a lack of sleep. It had been quite sometime since she'd been home. Last time she was at the gates she was being rushed off to Rain to have her heart replaced with one of metal. Vrail had been with her. But for now he was venturing off. He had gone to fight in the war and Aki left for home, only to become lost on the return.
The girl heaved in a breath causing her sides to shake. She was a shame. A weak girl with nothing to prove for herself. She lacked the potential to be a true shinobi. Why had she even bothered to return to Grass. Aki began to turn away. She took a few steps before stopping. Her head looked over her shoulder the gates seemed to grow even more. They truly were no bigger than had ever been, yet in her minds eye they were terrifyingly massive. The girl groaned and took a seat upon a large exposed root. What was she to do? She didn't know if Vrail was even alive, or where he was. Nor did she know if she was welcome back in Grass for being gone for so long without any official word of leave.
"I'm not worth anyone's time of day..." She muttered as she rested her head to her hand.

The little Areku came in front of Aki he hadn't seen her for a while and just smiled as he heard what she said and then looked down at her,"Wow giving up so soon on people what's up with that seriously?" Areku asked Aki smiling at her from behind his mask. As he sat next to her and just looked out he was curious to hear about her especially since she looked pretty bad, but didn't feel like asking much either so he sat down quietly.

The sudden voice startled her. She squeaked and slid backwards off the root. Aki flopped on her back against the packed ground. Her legs still hung over the root's bend. She groaned and gave her head a rub. Leaves stuck to her white hair. The teen sat up and moved her legs off the root. She turned her attention to the masked shinobi. The voice was familiar, but she wasn't sure who it was. "Umm... Pardon me?" She mumbled. The mask was that of a Kusa ANBU.
Aki glanced about for a moment then looked back to the person who was standing on the other side of the root. She took to her feet, a little shaky, and brushed the leaves and other dear plant forms off her body. Aki wasn't too sure of how she appeared but to others she would seem worn out and beat. Mental turmoil had shaken her down to her toes and it was painfully obvious.

Areku wanted to laugh at her reaction to him especially since it seemed she didn't recognize him with the mask on, so he took it off and just put it to the side, he was paler than before from the mask that his face was almost as white as his hair. Though he seemed pretty normal nothing much had changed with Areku.
Areku then turned to her as he got his backpack and took out a bottle of water,"Here drink." Areku said as he stood up and walked to her and held the water out to her he had a cheerful smile at her,"Hurry I'll carry you back to Grass then we can talk alright." Areku said casually..

She smiled lightly as the man removed the mask revealing the familiar Areku. But the smile didn't last. Her gaze wandered to the ground. She didn't know what to say. Her fingers fiddled together as she stared at the tree bark. Then his voice cut back into her attention. Aki looked back to him with her worn out eyes. For a moment they remained upon him then to the bottle of water.
She took it and gave a few sips. "Thank you." As she was taking another drink he spoke once more. Aki swallowed what she had in her mouth, "It's okay, I can walk. Mostly..." The last word was more so to herself. She took a few wobbly steps towards the gate and waited for him.

Areku rubbed his head at her walking as he walked beside her then got in front of her and was looking at her for a while then smile at her stubbornness for help on her face it showed. So he got beside her and waited for her to walk,"Well i won't carry you then but at least I'll be beside you for whenever you need someone to lean on." Areku said calmly.

Kit deactivated his eye concealment jutsu and seemingly just appeared at the gates. Giving some information the the erntrance guards he walked into the village.

Hiro walked up to the gates curious about how a village could be erected in such a sullen land but he walked up to the guards and gave them the info on why he was here....at least not the real reason

A man walked through the gates he was wear a big red and black cloak, on the back there was a small uchiha symbol. He also had a massive scroll on his back, the scroll could have held a number of things.

Cannot see your face, cannot hear your voice... A blindfolded boy walked up to the gates, marvelling at the magnificence of it. He gently lay one hand on one of the tree roots, feeling amazed on how a village could be surrounded by one giant tree. There would be time to find that out later, right now urgen matters call. Quan nodded at the guards, and they let him through thinking that a seven year old boy won't be able to do much harm anyway. ...This hell is my realm.

He came to stand in front of her, his gaze was scrutinizing. She was sure he would refuse to have his offer turned down until he moved to the side and spoke. Aki gave him a nod of thanks. She began to move forward again. The bottle moved up to her mouth and she took another drink. As she took a few steps forward she hit an uneven part of the ground. Balance thrown out of whack she began to tip forwards. Aki reached out to grasp anything for balance, to which she took hold of his shoulder.
"I suppose you wouldn't mind letting me take you up on that offer once more." She paused before interjecting, "Just don't carry me." She was strong, and stubborn, enough to not allow that much aid to be given to her. Not to mention that she was still uncomfortable about being touched by men other than Vrail.

Areku smiled,"Of course." Areku said calmly as he just helped her up a little to her feet,"Come on Aki were almost there now so show me how stubborn you can be." Areku joked a little.
As they where at least halfway there as he waited for her to walk again though as he helped her up he diagnosed her just in case in secret to make sure he wasn't pushing her too hard,"She's fine, but what's in her body?" Areku thought to himself but staying as calm as he always did he just waited for her.
