Ricette I hope everyone is having a happy beginning to 2006! One more week and college begins! ~squee~ One more day for me and i'm back to classes. sweatdrop This is going to be it for a while tho, and I'm not taking it too seriously. Should be a good time.

Same for me 3nodding Then it's right into studying for midterms gonk Since, I live in Florida and we've missed a lot of days of school for the hurricane. We've had to add extra days. And many of the schools canceled midterms but our school said we're still having midterms crying It's a crime I tell you....

Midterms, forgive my naivity but exactly what are they? I know they're exams but are they final ones for your report card or do they just go towards your report card?
Being british has it's complications n_n; I only vaguely understand the American system.
If it helps though, I got back to school on Wednesday and then I go on Study Leave again on Friday (kinda pointless really) for my exams which are at the end of January (damn A-levels) ._.'
*Currently listening to the podcast* Seth's brother reminds me of my sister. -_-

Being british has it's complications n_n; I only vaguely understand the American system.

*Currently listening to the podcast* Seth's brother reminds me of my sister. -_- Depends on where you live XD In my high school they called the middle of the year finals mid-terms @__@ To make them sound less icky. But in my college its that in the middle of the term, you get an exam that shows how well you're doing in the class. At that time you know you can either keep doing what you're doing... or shape up and work harder. XD Edit: Hell, I'm american and I don't even understand them. BUT THEY ARE HELL!!

XD Much like how in America, in the public school system, a week after you get back from summer break, there is a threeday weekend. XD That has always confused/amused me. In happy non-school related news... my dog sounded so sad cause it was raining and my mom put her in her run cause she was wet. And shy souned so sad... so I just sprung her from it and now she's curled up on my bed. ( On a towel... and I did dry her off. ) Edit: Please forgive all typos, misspellings, and gramatical errors.... I'm too tired to care. XD

You have a pen for your dog when it's wet? Our big retriever just flumps down on the stairs soaking wet and stares out the landing window into the gardens behind us.
Granted my mother gets really peeved whenever she starts barking and soaks her washing but still...Apologies if my replies become slow by the way, I'm having a war with Photobucket.

The pen is for whenever I'm not awake enough for my parents to yell/bother me for what my dog has done. xD
Today it was she went out to eat but ended up digging a rather large hole in my mother's garden then splashed around in old holes she's dug. XD
And since I was asleep my parents just put her in the pen until I woke up. ( About 30 seconds after they closed the gate and she started to cry. XD )

Ah, that makes sense then...It's a rather unique way to deal with that type of thing and the first I've heard of it but I'm assuming she's your sole responsibility?

I don't mind it though, cause even though she's evil... she's a a little angel. Plus she's only a puppy... so she gets away with doing stuff like that for at least another few months.
