 ^ Visit The Lost Lands ^Mathias nodded. "They should be fine. Your son is a good warrior, Artemis is a gifted mage, Aura and Einon are as tough as Engela and I were at that age, and we are all still here."Artemis stepped away and nodded to Aura saying what Einon would need. He swallowed hard, being a vampire sounded really gross. He looked at the 'newcomer' ((KASAI)) and waved. "Sorry, just mopping up. Name's Artemis. The others: Aura, Naomi, Alex, Einon, and Sora." He pointed to each, nodding. "And you are?" He asked, feeling this uncontrolable urge to lash out with magic. ((Due to the opposite powers of Fire and Water))Einon layed unconcious still, the wound not closing but his eyes opening. "Blood..." He groans as his body screams for nourishment.

Alexa leaned back. Her face was expressionless. "Good for you," she said quietly. There was no hint of sarcasm, and indeed, she looked sincere. "Damn good for you."

Aura rolled her eyes. "Yes, Einon," she replied, kneeling by her brother. She took a moment to thank any listening gods that she had inherited more from her mother - she just passed out when she overdid it. Then she pressed her wrist against her brother's mouth. "Go ahead."
She was used to this. Engela had taken the time to get her that way - as the only sources of blood for Einon should he overtax himself, they both had to be comfortable with it.

Vix smiled perceptively. "Engela's right, Leon," she said quietly. "We can't beat ourselves up over their choices. Especially not Lexi's."
Engela realized where Vix was coming from. "You forgot one, Mathias," she said quietly. "Alexa was independent enough - enough, in fact, like her mother - to strike out on her own to get out from under the family shadow. You have nothing to worry about for any of the children, Leon. They'll be fine."

Einon smelled the blood. Even though he knew, in his mind, that it was his sister, he's thirst was in control. In a blink of an eye, he had both his hands holding her arm and sunk his fangs into Aura's wrist; drinking hungrily.

Naomi followed Alex in after the portal, waving the Sora and the others.

Ivy smirked. "A vampire, huh? This should prove to be fun." She cracked her knuckles and smirked some more as she gazed over the retreating maggots. "Looks like I'm going to have lots of fun."

Sora looked over to who Artemis was talking to, and when she heard her name she waved with a small grin. Then she turned her attention to Einon again, watching almost in awe as Aura allowed her brother to drink her blood.

Aura hissed sharply between her teeth when he bit her. Not really harmful, no, but not the most comfortable thing she'd ever experienced. "Ouch," she muttered. It was useless telling her brother to be more careful - he would feel bad, and apologize, and do exactly the same thing next time.
But she'd be bruised for weeks. She didn't know how her mother managed to do this and show no bruises - perhaps her body had simply grown accustomed.
Looking up and noticing Sora's awed look, she managed a grin. "The things we do for our siblings, right?"

Kasai turned and looked at the male that had talked to him, "I am Kasai." {Note: Kasai is flame in Japanese} His power was about to lose control and that fact was visible as little sparks of flame ignited from the heat in the air, and the temperature rose. "Unfortunately, I must leave for a moment, before I...hurt...someone." He turned to leave his entire body tense as his control frayed.
Kirra sighed and asked, "Alexa, do you think that we might find someone good enough to give immortality to, as lovers to us?"

Hyn got up and began wondering absentmindedly. He really didn’t know where he was going, in fact, he didn’t even realize that he was on the move. He walked back through the village and left again through another exit. He wondered on for over an hour.
Kray’s eyes opened again. Another someone was approaching. He sat up and looked in that direction with a surprised expression on his face. Hyn was walking toward him. It seemed though that he had not entered the barrier yet so did not see the village but he was here all the same. It seemed as if he was out if it. This had only happened once before and that was when they were on the move. He got up to meet him. “what are you doing here this late at night?”
Hyn looked up the smile firmly set on his face. “oh, I Kray, when did you get back?”
“get back? You came here on your own.”
Hyn looked around. The village was nowhere to be found. “well, I must have wondered off. So this is where you rushed off to…what are…what are you doing in the middle of nowhere?”
“there is a village right here.” Kray showed Hyn the way in and was not surprised to see that the appearance of the village didn’t seem to surprise him. “I guess it’s better that you came. I have a job for you.

"Pleeeeeease," Kasai said in a strained voice, "And now...I...am.....about....to lose.....CONTROL!" at that final word the sparks all ignited into a raging inferno, encasing Kasai in a massive pillar of flames that started to spread out in all directions and would probably burn the whole village to ash if not stopped.

Artemis threw his arms up, the moisture in the air that wasn't already ignited, creating a wall of to contain the flames in the middle of the street. Holding his hands up, Artemis concentrated on keep the water cool so it didn't let the fires out. "How..long....does...this....last!!!"

Kasai couldn't answer, he was too busy being torn at by the fury of his unchained powers. Suddenly the flames stopped and he fell to the ground exhausted and worn out, his final thought that he hoped no one got hurt because of him.

Sora had nodded slowly in response to Aura's question. She looked over to Kasai and Artemis when Einon pulled away from Aura. When the fire flew around she kept in a squeak and rolled away from the fire to avoid getting burnt. Mentally she sighed when Artemis helped stop Kasai.

Aura hardly glanced at the two mages, too busy trying to keep her brother from having a breakdown. "There's nothing wrong with you," she informed him crisply, even as she hugged him back. "Don't be silly. Dad has to do it, too - do you think there's something wrong with him? Mom and I use a type of magic specifically meant to kill and destroy - do you think there's something wrong with us? Einon, it's what vampires do. It's what you were born with. You can't do anything about it." Rolling her sleeve back down, she shrugged. "At least, that's what Mom says."

Alexa grinned. "Probably not," she replied airily. "They'd have to be damn good to get me that interested. Why?"
Kirra's thoughts seemed to be all over the place, but Alexa figured there was some common thread behind them.

Hyn looked at Kray for a moment, "a job for me? what can i do that you can't?"
"you can put on any face you want." came the reply.
"so its a spying job."
"yes. resent events have lead me to realize that i do not have enough information about what is going on with the heros of old. i need you to go see. sence Leon always seems to be in the middle of these big events, he will be your first target."
"as you wish, but if i may, i would like to leave in the morning."
"of cource. i see you already have you daggers. just keep the hidden." if Hyn was to be found out, he was very good at fighting agains magic though he himself didn't have any. he seemed to have mastered the skills needed and was the perfect person for the job.
Hyn nodded to show that he understood.
"i will provide you with some money. just be a wondering swords man. no one will suspect you. your not old enough to have participated in the first war so you should be fine." with that, Kray turned back to his spot and layed down.

"But Aura, you and mom control the magic. If neither of you used it, nothing would happen to it. But I..I can't fight the need for blood. And I'm..I'm having harder and harder time controlling it. Even tasting your's, as often as I have, there was a part of me that didn't want to stop. I'm..I'm having terrible dreams. Blood everywhere." Shaking, Einon broke down in his sister's arms.
Artemis sighed and panted, feeling very exhausted. "Kasai...you...ok..?"
