When the kiss ended Lilly wished it wouldn't have. "Maybe you just didn't have the right person to love." She personally had never allowed herself to get so close to anyone her whole life. She always kept people distant from herself. But now she didn't know why she would do such a thing. All the emotions running through her veins, she didn't know how she delt without them.

((That is so sweet. ^^ I never expected Annexus to fall in love. I love it when the most unexpected things happen, don't you? XD Just make sure not to bring their relationship too far!))
"Yeah, I think it's time to get out of here," Hiro said in response to Leah's question. Then he started walking away from the village.
Mina started to follow, but looked back for one last look at her home of sixteen years. I will return here. I promise, she thought to herself. Then she turned around and started to follow Hiro.

Mimi walked silently. She didn't want to say anything, in fear she might start crying. She was thinking of how she was leaving her family...the thought of maybe never seeing them again... She tried to shake those thoughts. She didn't want to think about it.

Mina, guessing at Mimi's thoughts only because that was how she was feeling, said, "Don't worry, Mimi. We'll return someday. We'll return carrying Annexus's head on a platter. You'll see."
Hiro's thoughts were on the same line as Mimi's. "I can't believe that we're actually leaving," he said.

Korsu chuckled to himself as he watched them all say good bye to their village. "Don't worry. You'll get over this feeling after a while." He said to them as he walked with them. "It'll last for probably a few days though. Or weeks. Depends on the person."

Hiro never even looked back at the village. "We'll all be able to return to our homes once Annexus is killed. For now, all we can do is forget about our homes and make sure we don't die," he said.
"I wonder how long it will take to kill Annexus," Mina said, trying to get her mind off the village.
"We're no match for him right now. We must get stronger," Hiro said.
"Then I should start practice summoning once we find a safe spot to make camp," Mina said. "I need to get used to the power drains."
"Maybe I can learn how to wield a sword or something," Hiro said.

"Yeah, I could probably use some help," Hiro said. "The last time I tried using a sword, I broke a vase."
Mina laughed. "You are supposed to use a sword outside!" she said.
"I was outside," Hiro said.

Mimi laughed slightly at the conversation they were on now. She was trying not to think, and that helped her relax a little. "I should practice more with my abilities too. To see how far I can go with them. Especially my telekinesis." She said.

Mina smiled now that the mood was not depressing. "It's getting late," she said. "Maybe we should look for a safe place to make camp."

"We are travelers now. We can look for a safe place to camp for the night." Korsu said absently as he scanned the areas around him. Most was just a flat plain with a few areas of bush. Grumbling to himself he said, "If we pick a place off the path we'll be fine. I can make us a fire."

Mina also looked around.
"I know of a small grove of trees near here," Hiro said. "There's a spring of fresh water there, too. My father always brought me there when I was little."
