Krii'Ouse's eyes were wide. 'I almost don't believe you, but your thoughts show the exact things you're describing.' he said, his voice rung with shock. 'My God... we're in a lot of trouble. Elders walking in the daylight... This is not good. They must be the cause for all those dissappearances I've been hearing of... But... Maybe it's Mauser... It could be either, or both... They were supposed to be helping us!'
Krii'Ouse punched his hand in anger. 's**t!' He looked at Scott, and walked to the door, grabbing Scott's arm and dragging him along. 'Follow me.' he said, as if he gave a choice.
He sent a message to Will through his Krii'Com.

"Rogue?" Lydia muttered to herself, looking down at her child again. She had had more than one run-in with the vampire Elder, and it was because of Rogue that Lydia was holding her darling Aurora in her arms right now. Rogue was why Will and Lydia were married, was why they were even together at all. If not for Rogue...if not for her, she would be still alone, unloved by Will, and still a loner who had no purpose in life but to kill. Hugging her daughter close, the psychic came to a decision.
"Gail, when can I go back to my normal duties?" Lydia asked, fixing the doctor with a determined stare. "I have things that I need to take care of."

The eighteen-year-old vampiress was practically trotting into the infirmary, empty plate and a fork in hands. She looked around to see Tokeru asleep and almost failed in holding back her giggle at him snoring and her memory from a while back that the cake had brought her. "Heya Lyds," she said to Lydia in kind greeting, "you decided her name now finally?"
Edith actually took the initiative to approach Lydia and her neice this time, last time Lydia'd been alittle busy, along with Aurora. "So ..." she said, having happened to walk into the room at the moment that Lydia had mentioned Rogue. "Who's Rogue?" She'd heard the name before but her memory was not working the best at the moment and it failed to enlighten her.

Scott hopped along as his coat was pulled by the leader's clenched hand. "You know, it's easier for me to walk if I can move both arms." He said as he followed Krii out.

"We have so far decided on Aurora, but we have not yet chosen a second name. I do not like Faith as any name for out daughter." Lydia said, smiling down at the little child in her arms. "And Rogue...she is a powerful vampire Elder with whom I have had a few runins. I do not think I came out of any of them unscathed." The psychic paused for a moment. "She is also the reason that I even have Aurora, the reason that Will and I are even together."

Edith personally did not really like the name Aurora either, but she made sure to make an extra effort not to let that slip out into the little telekinetic waves from the mind that Lydia could pick up off of her. However, Edith was still a basic psychic and if Lydia so much as attempted to read Edith's mind, she likely would hear Edith's thoughts about Aurora's name.
"Not that I'm naming her or anything," Edith said, having to state her opinion, "but I agree with you on not having her second name as Faith. It makes her name sound like ... Colorful or bright faith ... I guess it's not that bad, but I don't think I'd wanna be named that. Then again, I probably would have picked some weird name like Xena for my name."

"You do not like the name Aurora." Lydia said simply, meeting Edith's gaze easily. "You do not have to like the name. But I do not like Faith because it sounds hollow and flat to me. I would not want to be named Faith and I do not believe she would want to be named as such, either."

Tokeru finally woke up. He had been leaning against the wall when he fell asleep, and as he woke up, he noticed he was on a gurney.
He sat up and looked at the full room. "Well that's interesting, how did I get here?"

She wasn't afraid to admit that she didn't like the name now that she knew that Lydia had read her easily. "No," she admitted without any hesitation, "I like neither Aurora nor Faith, but Aurora is not my child and it's not my place to tell you what to name her. I won't suggest either, she's yours and Will's kid, you two are her parents, you get to think of names for her."
She smiled pleasantly to Lydia and looked down at her neice. "I'm going to spoil her rotten. She's so cute. I call first dibs for babysitting." Edith winked to Lydia, then gently took Aurora's small hand into her own, having to arch her back quite a ways to reach the baby and see her up close. The vampiress, hulking over Lydia and Aurora smiled gently, making sure to leave them some space to breathe.
Upon hearing Tokeru's somewhat disoriented voice, she let Aurora's hand go. She did not drop it, she gently set it down, Edith had a motherly side to her that just wouldn't allow anyone to treat a child roughly even though she had lived in the streets for quite a few years. "You got here," she answered Tokeru with a soft giggle, "by poofing here. Be quiet now, you wouldn't want to awaken Aurora and stir someone's wrath."
Turning back to Lydia once again, she looked at her with a smile that seemed more warm. "So," she asked, arms now folded as she spoke to Lydia, "how are you feeling? Tired? Want to rest? If you do, I can watch after Aurora for you or get Gail to help you out."

"Of course I am tired. A baby just popped out of me not too long ago. Be thankful you are a vampire, Edith, for giving birth is none to pleasant." Lydia said with a small smile. "I would like to rest, but I do believe I need to speak with Rogue. And I must also speak with Will, esspecially if what that hunter said was true. I do not like the idea of vampires who are not hunters to be able to walk in daylight, esspecially if they are elders."

Edith could not help but smirk at Lydia's comical statement, true, it probably wasn't pleasant but most mothers that went through it seemed to think that it was worth it in the end. "Hey," she said with feigned offense, "you calling me defective or something?" She snickered but soon found herself almost dead silent as she listened to Lydia's tale about the daylight-walking elders.
However, her full attention was not there as Lydia reminding her about not being able to have kids hit her hard though she didn't let it show. Lydia's statement had hit home and it had reminded Edith of yet another reason why she was here, specifically the infirmary. It'd been Joey that'd alerted her to it, but it had been her own personal choice to come here to the infirmary. But, unsurprisingly, as usual, she'd been side-tracked and hadn't gotten done what she'd initially set out to accomplish, not that she was in a huge huge hurry to accomplish it. She wasn't even sure if Tokeru remembered why he had come here either, seeing as he had fallen asleep.
She nodded her head in agreement, throwing in her own thoughts, "If you're speaking with some vampire elder and you've never come out from any run-ins with her unscathed then I'm sure as hell not letting you go alone, especially after you've just given birth. Which means I'm going with you whether you want me to or not. I'll be silent when you're speaking to her, but you ain't going alone and I know that Will probably would say the same thing."

Lydia could not help but smile. "Well, with you and Aurora, I should have all the protection I need. But first, I must try and convince Gail to let me out of the Infirmary, let alone out of Haven."

Tokeru swung his feet off the gurney, and stood up, and noticed he was wearing a hospital gown.
"Ok, not funny, someone gimme my clothes back. There is nothing wrong with me, i was just a little tired is all"
When a nurse came back with his tuxedo he waved it away. "Ok, someone gimme different clothes back, that tux is nice and all, but it's not appropriate for hunting."
As his fiance volunteered herself to go, he couldn't help but wonder why he had come here. It was for something important, but he didn't quite know.
Love, you know that if you are going, i'm going as well. I have some things to take care of in the city.

(( "Himself", eh Hokaru?? XD I'd always thought I'd stressed it enough that Edith was a woman. You've made me doubt myself. ))
"Of course," she said with pure confidence sticking her chest out like many cliche' men did to show pride and strength, "you will have all the protection you need. And if Gail won't let you go, I could go to Rogue on your behalf and talk to her while channeling your mind. It'd be good practice for me, I haven't done too too much to train my powers. That way you and Aurora would be at no risk."
'I am powerless to stop you. But if you come and things get bad, you're getting Lydia and Aurora out first, they're first priority. What things? Enlighten me, Tokeru.'

"I am a decent psychic, but I am not that strong. And besides, Rogue needs to see for herself what her meddling has caused." Lydia said, a little pleased that Edith thought so much of her abilities. "And if you want to learn how to use your powers, I would gladly teach you if you would have me for a teacher. It would help me, and you, Krii'Ouse, and I could all help train Aurora when the time is right."
