Emily looked over towards the couch, then towards the bed. "Well, the bed would probably make it easier for you to keep massaging that stuff in than the couch would. But..." she began. There was still a little part of her that was cautious of doing anything that might put her in a tricky situation. Even if nothing would happen, she was better off being overly cautious.

Emily looked towards the couch, but her gaze again flickered towards the bed. "Alright... probably be easier to stretch out." she said, then looked back towards Vandal.

Emily looked back at him a moment, then turned and headed towards the bedroom. Once inside, she took a quick inventory and security check of the room. Then she looked for a good mirror to look at. Finding one, she headed towards it rather than the bed. She turned around so that her back was facing the mirror, then pulled a small compact out of the pocket of her jeans. She used the mirror from the compact to get a good view of the mirror behind her.

Her eyes widened as she looked at the mirror, turned to look back at the large mirror, stared, then looked back at Vandal.

It... it was virtually healed up. A bit of scarring but... there was nothing there anymore.

"I...alright." she replied. Her expression still that of surprise. She'd never seen something that healed so completely so quickly before. "It would be better if I had as little scaring as possible. Easier with the undercover work when I have no noticeable markings."

The Penguin would notice that she was no longer injured, but if she blamed it on Vandal, then she could play it off as she overreacted from his... advances. She had enough of an innocent rep there that her running away could be believable.

Emily looked back towards the bed, then once more at Vandal. She moved away from the mirror and started for the bed. Once there, she carefully moved herself onto the end of it and layed down across the middle of it. Making sure Vandal had easy access to her back still. Once she had laid herself down, she carefully moved her arms out from under her, leaving the sweater between her and the bed.

She cautiously looked back to keep Vandal in her line of sight, but tried to relax the best she could.

Emily didn't notice the thread being pulled at all; she was far too busy enjoying the first good, long-deserved massage she'd had in months. Her toes curled tightly in her boots, and her fingers were dug into the covers under her head. She didn't want to look as though she was enjoying it too much, so she tried to keep her hands under her and her face away from Vandal. She couldn't help but let the occasional satisfied moan slip from her though.

This was... probably the best massage she'd ever gotten. She shouldn't be surprised though, for as old as Vandal claimed to be. Blackstone was the only other massage that she could say was better than any one else, and he was a good couple hundred years old. He... also liked to go a bit further with his massages, but she wasn't going to be making any comparisons between the two, so she wouldn't worry about that. Not if it meant cutting her massage short. She was tempted to completely forgive him for the whole mirror incident at this point.

"As much as I'd hate to admit it..." Emily replied. It DID feel good. Really good. It was clear that he had a few hundred years worth of experience with this sort of thing. As long as this was all that he massaged though, she wouldn't have to worry about much.

Emily let out a quick gasp as she felt him move onto her feet. She sat up just enough to look back at him, nearly forgetting why she was lying down. She still didn't object. As much as she wanted to, her feet were rather stressed from going across the city several times. And honestly she didn't quite want him to stop.
