He stepped back and ran a hand through his hair, silenced for the moment. If the majority of people wished to enter, he supposed he couldn't stop them.

Neither participant in the collision felt anything. Orion simply phased through Alastair, falling to the ground harmlessly.
They made it to the second lobby uninterrupted, "One more." Alastair said.

The door to the cabin was unlocked. Inside was nice and cozy. There was a small fire burning and an old, round rug in the middle of the snug cabin. A bed, a rocking chair, a dresser, nothing particularly interesting. Another door led outside.

Jordan reached into his backpack and pulled out a energy bar. He took a bite then looked at the beetle. "Eh, what the hell" Jordan said breaking off a tiny piece and placing it in front of the beetle. He had to look away when he was chewing, lest he throw up at the sight of the bug. He put the half eaten energy bar in his pocket.
He unzipped his sweater and reached under his bullet proof vest, coming out with the drinking end of his water pack. He drank.

Juliet nodded slowly, still going up, sights focused on whatever was ahead of her, flashlight on.

Alastair and Juliet came across Jordan and the beetle who was eating happily of the small piece of energy bar.

Juliet stopped to stare. "Uhm... beetle?" she inquired quietly.

Alastair stared as well and almost dropped Orion's body, "Uh..." was all he could say.
The beetle saw them and scurried behind Jordan's leg.

Jordan suddenly went alert. He swung up his pistol and pointed it at Alastair and Juliet. "If you try to kill me like the others, you're dead!" Jordan said defensively with desperation in his voice. He was in a vulnerable position. "Wait a minute, I've seen you at the police department."
Jordan got up and lowered his pistol, also making sure to put away his drinking nozzle. He was relieved and afraid at the same time. What if they came to put me under arrest for going in this place without authorization? "So why're you here?" Jordan asked nervously, thinking he knew the answer. He noticed Orion "dammit...what happened to him?"

Juliet traced her sights to Jordan. "Hey! Relax... uhm... Jordan, right?" she told him. "We're just here... to look for my father," she explained, looking around and lowering her handgun. "Seen him?"
