((Mmk, here we go.))
((Native, the goal is to not get killed, sooooo....))
Kurtis and Connor were pursued by Agents. Not surprisingly, the Agents seemed to be gaining. There were shouts and running footsteps behind them.
St. Cyrill returned to the base with Shikyo. He immediately asked Richard for an update on the situation.

"Nothing. Happened." Richard stated very flatly, his eyes half-closed. "What's up with our friend here there?" he inquired, throwing his rifles over his shoulder so that he could stand up.

Kurtis began to backpedal as they went down an exceptionally long hallway. As soon as the agents began to turn the corner, he brought up the kinetic gun and fired down the corridor.

St. Cyrill shrugged. "Couldn't get much out of him. I'm not a 'people person'." He turned away, and Richard could swear he heard him mutter, "Crazy Japs."
Not as well as the first time. For one, the longer range of the shot meant they had more time to dodge. Coupled with their intense training, they managed to mostly be out of the way. They brought up their own guns and fired.
((Luckily, they all attended the Stormtrooper Marksmanship Academy!))

((Er, the kinetic wave fires kind of INSTANTLY AND EVENLY SPREAD OVER A LARGE AREA. <_<))
Kurtis, alarmed, fired another shot.

((Stormtrooper Marksman Academy! Because we all know that you can't look down the sights of a rifle with that helmet on anyway.))
McMullard raised an eyebrow and wondered why precisely St. Cyrill was in charge of this. On the other hand, he didn't see any sign of any non-nationals besides him self and the Japanese man.
"Alright, then, I'll try to talk to him."

((Sorry again...*points sheephishly at siggy*))
Esther looked at her strangely. Her hand hadn't mysteriously changed back, had it? She did a quick double check. No, it was still normal...
"What is what?" Esther asked, looking around. She spotted the moth fluttering around the lights, and serious ideas of killing the thing started to run through her mind. She really didn't want to end up with it's head next time, if that were possible.

Liesel pursed her lips, was she going senile at 32? No, that was impossible. There had to be something, but she wasn't going to press the matter, unless it was a knife she was planning on using to kill somebody it would be relatively unimportant. She was about to completely drop the thought before the lights fluttered and languished for a moment. She looked up to see a moth sputtering around the bulb. Where the hell had it come from? Looking down again and ignoring the insect she spoke. "That thing. How did it get in here?" She asked. When Ly had come in there was no sign of a moth on the verge of electrocuting itself, and it was a good cover for her supposed mistake.

"Ummm..." Esther debated silently on whether or not this woman would believe her if she said she had traded limbs with the insect for a time back there. It seemed unlikely. And that's when a strange thought came to her. Could she do it again?
"Well, I kind of brought it in here. You see, it had my finger, and...I had it's leg..." she shook her head, knowing she must sound ridiculous. But the curiosity was getting to her, and she hesitantly reached up toward the insect, brushing her pinky finger against it this time. And sure enough, her finger, and it's leg more or less traded places. She looked at her hand a moment, not nearly as bothered by it as she had been the first time, though it still disgusted her. So she quickly changed it back once she was sure that Liesel had seen, and sat back down as the dazed moth ran into the light again.

Liesel watched with skeptical eyes. She didn't comment of the strange display and was equally startled when it actually happened. This girl, Esther, for a moment had a finger of an insect. Ly fought hard to keep her face stoic and watched Esther as she turned her hand back to normal and sat down. Liesel opened her mouth as if to say something, but closed it again. To make sure what she had seen was correct, she spared the moth a quick glance. It was still head butting the light bulb. So she wasn't imagining it.
"How did you do that?" The woman asked. Her voice was less cold, and had fitted itself into a more welcoming pitch. Over the years, she had adapted to learn that whenever she wanted something, it convinced people better then threats.

St. Cyrill touched Esther's shoulder gently. "Hey. Don't go around doing that a lot, OK? Try to keep it easy for now." He looked at Ly penetratingly. He seemed to know what she was doing.

McMullard seemed equally aware - both of them had encountered just Liesel's sort, and lacked the political mindset to avoid acknowledging it. She had little to hide in the way she was accustomed, but they couldn't hide that fact from her.
"I wonder if I can teleport again yet," Richard mused, cracking his neck subconciously.
