The hybrid followed her to her home, a bit surprised she lived so near to Kaegan and he had never seen her before.

He waited a few moments before gathering himself, dusting himself off and fingerbrushing his hair, and then knocking on the stone near to her door/tarp.

He cleared his throat into his fist, thoughts rushing through his head about what he should say and how thick an accent he should use. Or should he introduce himself in french? He wished he had a rose. That was the stereotype, right?

Bonjour Mon Ami, here's a rose?

His tail waved eagerly.
The day had started out rather foul but it was getting better as more time passed.

He just had to hope his greetings with this woman would be quick and fruitful- he could see the color beginning to change in the sky. It was almost sunrise. He had maybe an hour or two before he was blind again.

Isiah, by then, had curled up on the cot, eager to claim it rather than let Q have it. He fell into quick sleep, eager to wipe the night's events from his mind, even if temporarily.

Lex grunted as she heard someone knock on the stone outside her door- she yanked the tarp open, frowning. She recognized him, from the fight. She was not impressed. She was very rarely impressed, in fact. "What do you want?" she spat. It almost sounded as if it was missing a freak at the end.

The hybrid's tail slowed to a stop, and for a moment, if he had floppy ears they would have sunk in sulking.

But Bornes jumped right back up to the playing field in a manner of seconds.
"Why, that is a bit hurtful," Bornes stated. He went with the 'faint, but still apparent enough to be european sounding' route.
That meant he was sophisticated.
He would have given a mock smirking, stereotypical "french"(Or what americans thought of as) laugh at himself if this were something he were watching.

The venison in his stomach.
It was like having solid courage injected into him.

"I did nothing to harm you?" He put his hand to his chest.
"I simply came to introduce myself. I would like to get to know you better. My name is Quatre Bornes."

He put on his best 'charming' smile and hoped that she was into that sort of thing.

She quirked a brow upward, eyes widening in disbelief. Seriously?... She leaned against the brick of her doorway, looking him over. He wasn't her type. Namely, male. But telling a man that just made him all the more determined. The next best reason was easy, and true, anyway.

"Your name," she began, quietly. "Is Omega. And I am not interested in continuing a conversation with someone with such a pathetic rank. Goodnight." She shut the tarp, as if that would deter him.

The cold sting of rejection only deterred him for a short lived three seconds.
3...2...1...

"While Omega may be the lowest rank, in the pack of wolves it is still very much respected," he leaned his left hand on the wall of her hovel. He dared not let himself in to her home. He may be bold, but not that so.

"Did you know that while all packmembers played jokes on Omega, when the member dies of dire accident, they all still howl and mourn?"

Timing. Bad.
Example. Worse.

He kept digging his grave, anyway.
He could still taste the lovely deer in his mouth and he wanted that deer taste on that woman's lips. She was not exactly his type either but she was a woman, and woman was the best type Bornes could ask for after a whole year of a sausagefest.

"What rank are you?"

The tarp screeched as she pulled it aside, grabbing onto his neck. She moved quick, throwing him onto his back and onto the ground, resting her shoe on his neck- not enough to cut off his air supply, but enough to make a point. "Ceta. Go play games with your Zeta, douchebag." She pushed up against his jaw as she lifted her foot away. Men.

Bornes looked as the tarp opened, flinching slightly at the noise.
Her arm came out and the next thing he knew her shoe was on his neck and he was on his back. He couldn't even remember how he got down on the ground, it was so fast.

This woman is amazing.

Of course, as he was thinking that, he was wincing and gritting his teeth and trying with all his might to not let out a pathetic dog whine. Thankfully he didn't and she let him go.

He sat up, rubbing his neck which was still bruised, and now, moreso. He let out a pained cough but began to smile to himself anyway. This woman was amazing, the thought would not leave his head.

After a few seconds of sitting there, he finally got up and hoarsed a "good night" to the woman who was now in the privacy of her home, and walked to the well, fetching another few sips of water before he went back to Isiah.

Bornes was a bit excited- it had been... eight hours? more? since their little 'fight', and Bornes had completely forgotten about ill will.

He wanted to tell Isiah about the woman, about the Ceta, but when he came in and took a breath, his tail wagging again, he found Isiah asleep on the cot.

His smile waned, but he thought he'd be a d**k and make sure.
"Are you asleep, Isiah?" he whispered.

Isiah grunted, rolling over onto his back, opening his eyes halfway, squinting at him as he glanced over. "Yeah," he offered hoarsely, his voice thick with sleep, furrowing his brow downward. "What's wrong?"

"You talk very well for being asleep," he chuckled, walking all the way into their home, and squatting so he could be eye to eye with Isiah, his tail still waving. Bornes was in a happy mood.
Despite the pain he was in, and the rejection, and the whole him being labelled as a werewolf murderer just a few hours a go.

Good mood.
Good food does that.

"I just met the Ceta!" He whispered excitedly. "She is a beast. You should see her!"
Bornes put his hands on the mattress, leaning in close to Isiah. His voice turned to one of concern.
"Will you help me train so I can get higher rank? She won't talk to me because I'm Omega."

Isiah groaned, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes with his knuckles. "Like.. right now?" he grunted. "You need strength training," he said slowly and thickly, eyes rolling shut again with a low groan. "A LOT of strength training.."

"Well no, I guess not right now. But you will help me, yes?"
Bornes' tail wagged in a circular motion.

He leaned forward and kissed Isiah lightly on the lips. "Thank you!"

Isiah purred quietly as he felt Q's lips against his, eyes opening halfway to survey him before tilting his head upward to return the kiss. The hybrid sure knew how to make him forget why he was angry at him. "You're awfully chipper," he began quietly with a chuckle, folding his arms behind his head.

Bornes grinned. "Well of course, I just had--" he stumbled over his words for a moment, stopping himself from spouting about his meal he wasn't supposed to have. He recovered fast enough, but the pause and stutter was still noticable enough. "Had a very long walk! Walked a few miles out."

He tilted his head slightly. "I love walks, and you know that." That wasn't a lie. Bornes did love his walks.

"Why are you going to sleep so early? I was gone for so long. I am surprised you were not worrying about me." His tail wagged a bit wider, a fire beginning to churn in his gut that he wanted to save for the Ceta, but he knew he wouldn't be able to hold it in.

"It is not like you to be so melancholy." He stood up and began to get ontop of the bed, ontop of Isiah, aiming to straddle the man.

Isiah relaxed into the cot as he watched Q rise and swing a leg over him, grinning. "That's true," he offered quietly. He was too taken with their brief kiss to notice the awkward pause or other signals Q was sending. He let Q straddle him, unfolding his hands from behind his head to rest them on his hips with a broad smile.

Bornes bent down once he was over Isiah, and closed his eyes, smelling the other man's chest.
After he had had his fill of that, he slowly scooted himself backward until he was unbuttoning Isiah's pants.

That morning had been a touching one, and for the next few weeks Bornes and Isiah trained together. Every couple of nights the hybrid would go out for his venison fix, until about four weeks passed.

With Bornes' new secret diet, he had become much more fun to be around, and was able to build muscle easily enough, as well as gain one rank. Rather than Omega, he was now Phi.

He still had not gained the courage to speak to the Ceta again. In fact, most people tended to avoid him even more than usual. His fight with the former Phi had ended rather quickly.

Today it was sundown and he left Isiah again to go on his normal walk toward the shelter. His stomach had expanded enough that he didn't need the dog to clean up after his mess, and Jane had stopped following him after he hadn't given her anything for a few of his trips. Two hours passed until he reached the shelter, opening it, and going inside, only to find that... There was no Venison left.

Bornes had himself a minor freak out. Cursing in French, kicking the air.
This was worse than just him not having meat. It meant that next time Kaegan came down here, he would know. He would know someone was stealing something. Bornes wasn't sure how many other people knew where this storm shelter was, but the hybrid had already committed two wrongs and nobody liked him. Even if he hadn't been eating the stash, he bet he'd be blamed for it anyway.

After his time freaking out over it, he managed to calm down and try to collect his thoughts.
He decided he shouldn't go back empty handed, and chose some fish to eat. Raw fish wasn't exactly his idea of good food, but he gulped it down anyway, suddenly feeling guilty, and the atmosphere of gloom began to thicken around him as he shoved the fish down his throat.

Once he finished the jar he climbed out and threw it out as far as he could once more, hearing it crash in the distance, and walking back. It took him three hours.

As he sulked, he went to the well, getting himself some water slowly.
He knew he was normally giddy after a walk, but he also knew none of the others really cared about him except Isiah.

It was simply a matter of time now.
He drank his water and tied the bucket back up, shoving his hands in his pockets and walking around the edge of town, deciding to peoplewatch the few people who were actually up this late.
