Stark was waiting for them with two other people, a man and a woman. They wore identical suits and sunglasses, hands clasped in front of them.
As the door opened, they approached the car, Stark a step behind. They opened the back and pulled Rufus out, supporting him. They held him so that he was facing Stark.
Stark looked down at Rufus for a few seconds. "Good job," he finally said. "Go get taken care of." The two nodded and carried Rufus away.
Stark turned to the other two. "Sticker," he said simply, holding out a hand.

Anatoly checked his pockets. "Wait, damn it! Rufus had it," he said with a groan. He was already preparing himself for Stark's likely-violent response.

Bitong supplied Stark with his level 2 ice, and then proceeded to ask Stark why the hell was Rufus taken away.
"Anyways, Rufus had the Mysticker we were sent to retrieve."
Bitong added as an end to his outburst. "Don't we still need that?"

Stark closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Uncharacteristically stable of him.
"Rufus has the sticker. Very well." He stuck the Ice 2 on Bitong's forehead. "I'll get it myself. Good job out there." Stark turned and walked away, presumably to find Rufus.

Anatoly exhaled in relief as Stark walked away. "We didn't get hit. Fascinating," he commented to Bitong once Stark was out of earshot.
((kkid16, post in Cabal, dammit! :O You're on an aiiiirrrrplane and your section is kinda stuck until you, y'know, do something.
Or, I can have Keilven killed. Your choice.))

((Uhm...Kill Keilven. I don't really have the time for Cabal right now, seeing as most of my time is spent up at the local college, and the Cabal is a very "involved" RP.))
"I'm going back to my rooms to catch some sleep. You might want to do the same, Anatoly. Stark might give us something else to do later, and we might have another go at training."
Bitong headed off for his barracks once he finished speaking.

"Then again, the best way to learn that is to get out there," Nathan added. "But first, we need to have some idea of how to attack them, not just pester them. I made a wrong move early on and that wrecked my entire assault strategy."

Anatoly nodded. "I'm gonna pick up my s**t from my house first. I'll only be gone a little while." He got in one of the other cars - one not yet involved in any crimes - and drove towards his house.

Stark entered the room where the two suits were taking care of Rufus. They glanced up when he entered. He dismissed them with a wave of his hand, and they left.
He stood looked down on Rufus, who was laid on a table under a light. After about a minute, he spoke.
"Rufus. Why did you take the stickers back after I confiscated them?"
Rufus groaned softly. Stark leaned closer.
"Needed em. Rookie couldn't handle it."
Stark sighed as he straightened up. "You know what Gaia does to you. Yet you use it consistently. You confuse me, Rufus." He turned away, regarding the wall. "And the rookie would have been fine. He's...well. He's got one of the talents that we've been looking for. Not all of them, and not one of the huge ones, but he's definitely worth training."
Stark turned when a noise behind him occurred. Rufus had tried to sit up.
"One of them?" he asked urgently, his voice scratchy. "There's no way..." He coughed a bit. "No way he could be one of em! Is there?" He looked at Stark in confusion.
"He is," Stark said simply. "I've confirmed it."
Rufus sank back onto the table with an awed sigh.
"I'm assigning you as his mentor," Stark said, raising a hand to stem the inevitable objection. "Bitong will act as his partner. I'd like to see Bitong go far as well." He went to the door. "Get some rest. And from now on, you will only use Gaia in an emergency. You have two other Stickers that work just as well."
He left before Rufus could reply. He headed for the chambers of Bitong and Anatoly.

Anatoly packed up his few belongings he desired: mementos of people he'd known, mostly, a time capsule he'd made in college, and a pair of pewter dice he'd once bought. He cleaned his house of all his identification and records of who he was, putting them in a briefcase, and returned to the warehouse with one more thing: A backseat full of rice paper walls, to remind himself of what he'd left behind. He soon arrived at the warehouse again. ((If you don't know what a time capsule is that post probably confused you.))
