Leena narrowed her eyes further, doing her best not to let her anger show, one hand clenching at her side so tightly the knuckles were white. "He can't teleport within there. I could only get close and had to ride in the rest of the way." She snapped, not wanting to say anything more lest she give something away. She listened to him shout at Tuin, lowering her eyes to the ground as she forced her hands to relax, bowing her head. "Kantern..." When he addressed her, she looked up to him, her eyes finding his from beneath her hood. She took two steps towards him when he turned to leave, taking a deep breath once more. "Kantern. I wouldn't have come if she hadn't been forcing herself to sit up and try to leave. I know he knows what he's doing." She said softly, glad that the mask hid her expression, a hand hesitantly touching his shoulder from comfort. "I told you, I'm here on behalf of her. Selena would have come for sure if I didn't and that would have just made things take longer. I'm sorry..." She let her hand fall, lowering her eyes to the ground. "I know you did, I was there. No, if I follow after him, he'll get caught. I can't return to the princess either though. She's expecting me to be either pulling him back to Aras or watching his back. Both of which are almost impossible." She told him, knowing it wouldn't help any really.
Vadász fell still as he was about to pull the chord through the last two loops, moving after a moment. "What is normal?" He asked softly, winking to her as he moved so he could look at her, returning her kiss, his eyes briefly going past the mirror. He blushed as he lowered his eyes to what he was going, finishing what he was doing with the corset, then turning away from her. "No, normal men aren't 42 in a 17 year olds body with a 17 year old girlfriend." He chuckled a little, staring at the floor. "Maria had to force me to get over it too." He said softly, leaning on his knee's with a sigh.

"My lord, the Moth traitor is here, coming after you apparently. Leena and Tuin are with him as well, and another Were." Aki said quietly, coming up to Altarion. "Do you wish for me deal with them, or have you something else I can do?" she asked softly, hoping he wouldn't send her away again.

"And this 17 year old prides herself on being different from everyone else and not being normal." Cori added, kissing his cheek before grabbing her clothes from the floor and going to the bathroom to change. She came back a minute later, sitting beside him. "What was she like? Maria?" she asked softly, watching him.

"Let them pass. I really am not interested at all in the moment." Altarion sighed, waving Aki off at the moment as he stared at yet another image of Selena when they used to be happy together. "How the years have changed you..." He muttered, staring at the picture.

"Yes milord." Aki murmured, supressing a sigh as she left. She was tired of doing nothing, of all his attention being on Selena again. There had been a time when it wasn't, when he had been closer. easier to follow. But now she was better of staying in Cirith trying not to get killed and to kill her mother.

Vadász chuckled a little, glancing up only when she entered the room again, tilting his head a little. "Maria? Oh boy..." He weaved an image of her for Cori, tilting his head a little. "She was a soft-spoken girl, a little on the headstrong side, but she would fall back when she knew to. She was the sweetest person, and could tell anyone off like no ones business. Hence why I'm used to it." He chuckled a bit, a finger running across the wedding ring he still wore. "She knew how to cook too.... and she was so good with kids. She was a teacher." He told her softly, moving his hand to take hers after he removed the ring, holding it in his other hand. The image of water soon faded, sighing heavily. "And she knew me best. It was almost like she was an empath sometimes." He smiled distantly, shaking his head as he looked to her, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. "Even in death she scolds me for my sillyness."

Cori smiled faintly, though her gaze dropped to her lap. "How long were you married?" she asked, having noticed him playing with the ring. She masked the sinking feeling, knowing she'd always be compared to her. And she couldn't even begin to amount to what Maria had been.

Vadász realized only AFTERWARDS what he had done, looking at her with a sad smile. "Three years." He answered quietly, lifting her chin so he could look her in the eye, the wedding ring vanishing safely into the shadows. "I'm sorry, I'm thoughtless." He said quietly, his thumb stroking her cheek. "I found just as amazing a woman here as I did then. Don't you think yourself any less, alright?" He said softly, tilting his head a little with a reassuring smile, kissing her tenderly then.

"You don't have to get rid of it." Cori said softly once he pulled back, giving him a very faint(forced) smile before she rested against him. "We keep doing this, don't we. Saying the wrong thing." she murmured, resting her head against his shoulder.

Vadász knew he had done wrong, and hadn't fixed it, cursing himself as he lowered his eyes to the floor, his arms sliding around her. "No, I need to get past then. It'll help if I don't wear it everyday. Especially not now. It isn't proper." He said softly, cradling her against his body. He sighed, kissing the top of her head. "That we do my love." He whispered, pulling up the warmth that he first let her feel back when they first met. He let his chagrined feeling slip in, wanting her to know how sorry he was. "But in all seriousness, I meant what I said. You are just as amazing a woman as she was. Please don't think yourself lesser Cori..." He said softly, stopping himself before he obsessed anymore than he already was. He was learning. Slowly.

Cori smiled faintly after a moment, assuring herself that he meant it and wasn't simply saying it to help her. "Vadász," she murmured, looking up to him. When he looked to her she caught his mouth with her own, gently at first before she grew more passionate, deepening the kiss.

Vadász smiled softly, tilting his head a little, his eyes finding hers. At the kiss, he relaxed, slowly letting his own passion seep in, not wanting to throw it at her all at once. Though, he couldn't help it when she deepened it, pushing it just a little further his hands running along her back, stopping when they hit the small of her back. He felt them tilting back, not breaking the kiss as he let her gently rest on top of him, making sure he received most of the jerk of it.

Kantern decided it best to allow Tuin to finish, watching him leave with relief. "He knows what he needs to," were the words that left his mouth under his breath, but he knew the elf's pet was too far off to hear him. Feeling the hand, his muscles tightened for a short moment. Kantern's eyes flashed at her words. Turning his head halfway to see her from the corner of one eye, he smirked. "I guess we're on our own then." Kantern, thoguh the chemistry geek he was, always wished he had more action in his life. Sniffing the air, his smirk never fell. "Demons, mmm, demons were never good with me. Dwarves, now dwarves are fun."
Roran was in a tree, a branch proding him on his backside. He had been trying to get the boy back to his tribe, but the Mothzards were too quick and stealthy. Even though he had lost them, however, a new prey was in his sights. It was a chained up falcon. The poor thing had tangled its chain around a few branches and was sitting there with only five feet of chain left. It's cooing had gron softer and softer as it called for help. Roran felt bad for the thing, but he needed to figure out a way of releasing it without being attacked by it. His arrows would be no good, the metal in the chain looked too strong. He couldn't expose himself either by climbing down and walking up to it. "How'd you get tangled up anyways?" he spoke to the bird whom he knew couldn't hear him, nor answer.
Eyeing the lock, he knew how to free the bird of the collar and chain, but he'd have to expose himself. Cursing under his breath, he was looking for a special weed. Kantern had taught him about this plant, and how if you pulled it out of the groun, and chopped it up so you were holding the base of the stem, you could pick locks with it. When he spotted one, he climbed down and knabbed it, using his teeth to chomp it down to the base of the stem. Crouching over to the bird, it began to freak when it saw him, flaspping it's wings and trying to fly away from him. It only got more tangled though, and soon couldn't move much. Roran used this oportunity to pick the lock. He was working as fast as he could, knowing he needed to conceal himself as soon as possible. Getting the lock undone, he was thanked by not recieving any pecks. Climbing the tree immediatly, he was safe once more. I'm gonna have trouble with this schedule.

Since Tuin and Leena left a few days ago, Selena had recovered enough to get out of bed. Still her stitches were a little tight, but with Anna finally back, Selena took her recovery time to catch up with her daughter and attempt to relax, though with Leena, Tuin, and Roran to worry about, it didn't do much for the princess. At the moment she was simply taking a walk through the forest with Anna, the two looking at all the plants and animals around them.

Leena had listened to Tuin without a word, keeping her eyes lowered as she sighed lightly. She returned the nod before he ran off, fixing the mask around her face to be sure that it kept her hidden. The last thing they needed was her getting recognized. Looking up when she saw his head turn towards her, she nodded once, knowing it would be better if she hadn't come at all. "So it would seem... " She tilted her head a little as he sniffed the air, fingering another injection that she had on her at that moment. She wasn't quite weak enough to use it, but she definitely wasn't her best. Raising an eyebrow at the mention of dwarves, she chuckled a little, "Oh? Some refugee's visited Mereth once, and they were somewhat pleasant. They knew how to party, that was for sure." She murmured, leaning against a tree with a light sigh, refusing to show her fatigue. Now was not the time to rest, not the time for it. Nor did it really seem advisable.
