"Don't I know it," Rhia mumbled with a rueful smile, opening the car door. The volume of the passersby and the roadwork a few blocks back increased, and bright sunlight flooded in. With a bit of maneuvering, she slid out of the car, keeping her katana behind her. Leaning down, she offered Zoraida her goodbye. "Thanks again," She said. "I wish you luck in your search,"

She opened her mouth to say something more, but she suddenly became aware of a very familiar spiritual pressure moving right towards her. Feiy.. and what a time to show up... Now what? "Well--" She fumbled. Do I stall her? "Bye, then,"

She straightened and closed the car door. Her head inexorably turned in the direction of Feiy's signature. She was practically upon them, running fast along the rooftops. It would be only seconds before she actually appeared.

The air left Rhia's lungs in a gust as she was sideswiped by Feiy. She shifted, wrapping her arms around Feiy's waist even as she pitched back from the strength of the tackle.

She could have evaded Feiy's charge if she'd so chosen. Her vaizard had all the subtlety of a raging tornado, pounding down the street with her spiritual pressure blazing. But Rhia liked her that way. In any case, a few stumbling steps later, and she had regained her balance, still securely in Feiy's arms.

"That was stealthy," She chuckled, still a bit winded. In those few moments, she'd forgotten all about Zoraida. Now that she'd calmed from the excitement of seeing her love, the situation returned with bitter clarity. Her face fell a fraction.

Zoraida was definitely caught by surprise as she noticed a brown blur hit her new little friend.

"What in the hell!?" She said with a dramatic flare. She put the car in park and turned it off, hurrying herself out the car. She gave a sigh of relief as she heard Rhia chuckle. She turned her attention to the much taller girl who clung to her, who didn't seem to have any regard for safety and decency in public. She scoffed.

"You, the tall girl. You need to be careful, that could of easily caused an accident!"

Feiy turned her attention to the lady yelling at her. There was a very odd feeling of deja-vu when she looked at this woman. It definitely reminded her of someone but she couldn't remember for the life of her. Her concentration being obstructed as the pain of Rhia's grasp, making her momentarily forget who this woman reminded her of.

"Anyways, this has nothing to do with you, hag. Don't but into personal matters." She said, pulling Rhia a bit closer.

"Anyways, where were you heading off to? Didn't think you'd be making rounds this... early. Something happen?"The thought reoccured when Rhia uttered the woman's name.

Ugh, its starting to bother me... why does it sound so familiar!?

"...oook... Don't see the point to do so, but whatever." She said, letting go of Rhia, she moved up to Zoraida. She stood uncomfortably close to her, towering over her as she usually did with any other person even though not by much this time. She analyzed the woman, but this woman still wasn't ringing any clear bells.

"I got nothing..."

Just as Niiro approached the group of three women, his phone rang. Even though they had just met on that very same day, Ky had control of the flow of information in and around Karakura, being the crude and skillful businessman that he is, so it was easy enough to find out the guy's phone number.

"Hey, it's Ky. I'm sure you're enjoying yourself, slacking off while I sit here, trying to negotiate with the Quincy, but I need you to stay out of trouble for the time being. In which case, you have three alternatives. One, you do as I say and go to the mansion. Two, you do as I say and come here to the Quincy house. Or three, I'll burn you alive. Choose wisely, kid. I'm ALWAYS watching you." With that, Ky laughed malevolently before hanging up.

Unbelievable. Feiy didn't recognize her own mother. Of course, it had been many years since they'd last seen each other. They must have changed dramatically over that time. Rhia went to speak again in an attempt to jog Feiy's memory, but she was interrupted by the arrival of the weak Quincy reiatsu she'd been sensing several blocks back.

He had approached the three of them in a human guise, acting shy and naive. Rhia wasn't fooled. Hadn't she been pulling the same charade not five minutes ago? Though, perhaps the shyness was genuine. He could barely construct a coherent sentence, but Rhia was quick enough to get the gist of his words.

She winced. He'd asked about something dead. Wondering if one of them had killed "it." Not very tactful. Thinking quickly (and acting on the assumption that Feiy and Zoraida would be too distracted by each other to have heard the Quincy clearly), Rhia walked casually up to him and rested a friendly hand on his arm. To all appearances, they might have been school friends.

Pulling lightly on his arm, she turned him away from the other two and spoke very softly, but very clearly. "Walk away, Quincy," The easy smile didn't fade, but there was real menace in her tone. "This is not your affair,"

From this angle, the Quincy would easily be able to see the sheathed zanpaku-to she held in her free hand. It wasn't a threat, but rather an encouragement. By no means did Rhia want a conflict with a Quincy, but she also didn't want the interference. If she could send him on his way, now, there would be no need for Feiy or Zoraida to know he'd been shadowing them. Feiy, in particular, wasn't the easiest to work with.
