Shouyin

PostPosted: Tue Nov 01, 2005 1:58 pm

Shouyin
Shouyin materialized conveniantly and silently, as in, no noise whatsoever, behind Chris. Taking in this fellow's meager apperance he scoffed while pushing him in the back of the neck with his left hand roughly. This push would give Shouyin enough distance to shuffle in while Chris either turned around to face him and throw a heavy left uppercut to under the chin. And by heavy, he meant throw you off your feet heavy. Unless there was something more to Christ than Shouyin had already seen, he'd fall flat on his back.

Now, this all relied on the mate's turning around to face Shouyin, as was usual of people who'd just been pushed by someone unseen, but our hero had the other instance covered as well. Chris didn't turn around, Shouyin tackled him to the ground and then started punching him in the back of the head.

Since Chris was facing away from Shouyin, he wouldn't have the time to sidestep sufficiently, and it'd be pretty weird. 'Cause you didn't go stepping to the side when you had no idea what was coming behind you. Though if he did, Shouyin would just throw the appropriate forearm into Chris and drag him down to the ground with him.

Silent? Yup. Out of sight? Yup. Undetected? No way. As soon as he felt the contact from the push, he span on his extended left leg and used the momentum from it to bring his right leg around about 270 degrees and at chest height for Chris, probably about kidney height for Shouyin. So if Shouyin got within a metre and a bit of Chris, he'd have to be comfortable with a foot lodged into the side of his kidneys or head, depending on which attack he went for.

And 'lo as Shouyin shuffled in, did he decide that throwing an uppercut wouldn't be the best thing, and simply raised his left arm up so it was half-guarding his body and half-guarding his head, and blocked the kick. By the time he finished moving inwards, left foot forward, Chris' knee would be against Shouyin's back and shoulder area.

His left arm would extend into a quick jab for Chris' nose and eyes before he followed up with a right uppercut to the stomach.

Thanks to the way Chris kicked, it meant Chris's right arm span around too and allowed Chris to easily catch Shouyin's jab. Gripping it tightly, his left leg dropped as he jumped off his right leg and his foot landing on top of Shouyins uppercut before it reached his stomach. Completing the move, he then used the spring in his leg because of it being bent and Shouyins movement to spring backwards and backflip, his left leg aimed for the Shouyins chin. Chris landed crouched and if Shouyin was in the air as he would be if the kick landed, Chris would leap towards him perpendicularly and kick him with his left shin right in the gut.

Yes well, no. The moment Chris' foot left Shouyin's right fist, it'd move up and grab Chris' left ankle. Since Shouyin had two feet on the ground, while Chris was left with but one, the half-golem's base was greater, so yeah, he could hold him down pretty easily. The ankle would be held in a way that positioned the foot off to Shouyin's right, so if Chris fumbled about or tried to kick him again, Shou would just let go and the foot would fly past him.

As for the arm holding his jab, Shouyin would regrab Chris' wrist, and then, using the very open position his opponent was in, knee him in the crotch with his right leg.

Now, Chris wasn't an idiot. His mother had always taught him to ensure proper safety whilst fighting, so whilst the knee connected with his general crotch, it would be partially absorbed by a re-enforced metal cup he was wearing, distributing the impact safely around his swimsuit area, clear of his genitalic areas. Still left a nasty cup shaped bruise where the foam padding (for comfort) had been compressed to its limit and pushed in anyway. Chris used his free hand to make a mantis claw style point and hit Shouyin in the throat, hopefully forcing his windpipe shut.

Shouyin tilted his head down, and the mantis strike grazed harmlessly off his chin. He then put down his right leg, raised his left, and drove his left foot down into Chris' right knee, breaking the leg.

Dark Angel Kio
Kio stepped into the mists of the void and immediately fell, though at first he gave a slight yelp, he immediately ducked his body downward and lined his wings on his back. As the mist began to clear from his vision he saw a vast ocean before him. A gust of wind blew back some water as he neared the water's surface. His immediate natural reaction was flapping his wings and hovering in place. He glanced in all directions as he searched for somthing... somthing that he still didn't particularily know he was looking for.

"Hmm... where is it... where is it..." he said to himself quietly. Then, in the distance, he saw it. A large continent was there, he slowly made his way to it seeing a storm off in the distance and sounds of fighting. Evily, Kio grinned in delight at the sound of fighting. Kio decended towards the ground and planted his feet upon the earthy soil beneath him. He glanced around and found himself standing in a large clearing of a forest. The wind blowing through his hair and wings, he straightened his cloak and pulled the hood up over his face. He made it to this place, now all he had to do was find the person he came here to find. Who was still unknown to him, of course, but still he was guided here by his senses for somthing and that was good enough reason anyways.

The wind blew through the plains. It was flat for at least 100 miles around. As the wind blew, there was an earsplitting crack through the clouds. Lightning was striking on the ground, sparking, and nearly causing flames. The grass was dry, nearly dry enough that if it did catch fire it would surely move faster than a any normal forest fire. However, the rule that says lightning necer strikes twice in the same place failed here. It would constantl hit in repeated places over and over again. It went in a complete random order, never onec repeating. There were also the bones of creatures and people that were unlucky enough to find themselves lost in these plains.

Most intriguing was the man that was standing there. He appeared to be waiting for something. Hie red, spiked hair was moving with the wind. He was wearing a studded leather vest. His arms, forearms to be exact, had two arm bracers. Each had four Kunai on them. Moving down, his fists were covered in battle guantlets. And down on his waist, along with his belt, were two Banshee Swords. His pants were made of leather, too, and also had knee guards with small spikes. His boots were steel tipped, and studded. This man stood at 6'11". Korek was this mans name. Around his arms were also covered in Chaotic and Angelic Symbols. Korek drew both of his swords, and just as he did, lightning struck behind him. He did not seem to care or notice. His build made him look like he was a statue. He was huge. His muscles rippled his skin. THe lightning only made these look about thre times their size. He, it seemed, was ready for a fight.

Ryugi Kazamaru landed on the strange battlefield, lightning and thunder crackling and rumbling across this strange place. It was like a group of plains, but there was lighting everywhere. Ryugi took a deep breath, it appeared like he'd finally get a good test of himself, and his equipment. Ragnarok on his back as usual, Ryugi turned to face the man that was no doubt his opponent.

I guess we'll be fighting today. I wish you luck, sir...

He then stood and clenched and unclenched his hands as he prepared for the fight ahead of him. He calmed himself anf forced himself to concentrate on everything around him. This fight was going to be interesting...

And I you sir.

Korek didn't waste time. He had grown slightly impatient. First thing he did though, was clear his head. He then held out both his banshee swords in front of him. He closed his eyes, and his left sword caught ablaze with black flames, and the other stated to glow a white. He brought the swords to his sides, and then slashed through the air, sending out a wave of light energy and black flames.

Ryugi wasn't really surprised with the big man's attacks, and infact, had seen them coming almost by reading the man's actions. he saw the twitches in movement as the man's arms slashed with the blades, and dashed straight towards him, closing the gap between them as the energy blades rushed towards him.

Just as it seemed they were going to hit, Ryugi jumped, performing a graceful flip and spin over them. He then landed, on his feet, still running. As he ran, he charged up energy for his next few attacks. The bright colors of the energy blast would mean that the big man's vision would be temporarily fuzzed, similar to looking at a bright lightbulb, and Ryugi used this to his advantage.

As he neared the man, he approached from the more blinded side, and sent a powerful right punch aimed directly at Korek's midsection, Ryugi's whole body being seemingly tossed into the blow. Odd how Ryugi was still about three feet away as he punched...

Korek saw the man jump, and also heard him land. Korek was no fool. He couldn't see the man, and wasn't planning on keeping it that way. He lunged to his side, rolling, and dropping his swords into the ground. He then flicked his wrist, sending up two kunai into his hand. He threw them at Ryugi.

The clouds over head let out a loud boom of thunder, followed by lightning. This lightning though, did not hit around the two warriors, but instead hit the kunai, infusing thim with the power of lightning. As the lightning strike dissappaered, the kunai still eminated with it.

Ryugi wasn't a fool either, and Korek had just fallen for his trap, but with slight improvisation. As Ryugi punched, he leapt foreward and spun himself through the air, spinning to the right as Korek lunged and tossed the kunai. Since Ryugi's momentum moved him forwards, it was unlikely that the kunai would hit him.

As he spun, however, he twisted himself to aim towards Korek, and his punching right hand opened up into a spread palm. Flame energy then shot forth from Ryugi's open palm at a speed of thirty feet per second. And since Ryugi was about five feet away from Korek, that gave Korek about 1 sixth of a second to react to the attack.

The flame blast was actually very VERY tiny, about the size of a golf ball, however, enough flame energy was packed into it to create an explosion powerful enough to blast a trashcan to pieces, and do about 100 total damage on a scale of 1000 max HP if it were to hit the big guy. And since the normal reaction time for someone was 1 fourth of a second, it was unlikely Korek would dodge it.

If the blast DID hit Korek, he'd be knocked off ballance and possibly temporarily blinded for a moment with no serious burns, except for some reddened skin. After he fired the blast, Ryugi landed on his back, on Ragnarok, where he skidded across the ground until he reached about twenty feet away from the guy guy. He still had energy left, but that was for later...

Korek only had a moment to see what had happened before he was hit by the flame ball. As it hit him, it got him directly in the chest. It knocked the wind out of him, and also knocked him bakc a few steps. He opened his eyes, and saw a blur. He couldn't see where his opponent was. He felt the leatehr smoldering a little. He ignored it, and then broght both hands together, palm touching palm. He bowed his had, and closed his eyes. He began to charge energy. When he felt he had charged more than engouh energy within a few moments for his next move, he was happy. He dropped down to one knee, both arms held out to both sides, extended all the way, and he opened his eyes. He could see clearer now, but his sight was as if he was drowsy and just woken up. He kicked off the ground with his foot, and started to spin upwards. As he was spinning, black fire began to flow from his hands. It created a flaming tornado. Once he had made it big enough, he pusehd out of it, and fell to the ground. He had fallen right between his two Banshee swords, which he had not expected. The flaming tornado began to go move, gathering speed, but also going towards Ryugi.
