Added! I've always tracked my bred eggs by bookmarking them as I abandoned them -got two subfolders, one 'still growing' and one 'bred eggs grown up'. I've already helped a couple along a bit. But we can't prevent everything, one orange/magi egg died from overfeeding (I did not feed it hits!) and knowing its code doesn't help then... sad But this purple will be okay! Just bookmark her also and look her up a few times during the next week, if she gets low on time as a hatchling let me know here or by private message.

Edit: four eggs also added, posted while I was typing.

My white's newest two children have soft shell.

Softshell from a brand-new egg isn't anything to worry about, I assume it only had 0/0/1 or 0/0/2 as stats? That happens almost any time you grab a new egg, because it's only natural you'll click 'view' from your own scroll to look at your newly stolen or newly picked up egg. All you have to do is view your own public scroll link once, refresh, usually that takes care of it. If not, post in the regular thread and it'll get one or two extra uniques, which is all that is needed. Softshell will kill an egg but not instantly, a single 'view' isn't going to do it, the ratio needs to be off more for it to be really dangerous.

Now if someone has posted the wrong link and stats are off by much more, like 20/10/30, then by all means it's an emergency and needs lots of unique views, but no more clicks. In such a case, post only the image of the egg, not the link, so people can't click it any more and add to the problem. People who go through a thread very quickly without reading the comments, or who don't know what causes softshell, would otherwise still click it.

I'm beginning to think the times on the view pages aren't completely reliable, because all of them should have had at least 2.5 hours left. I suspect some sort of server cache to reduce the load. But it's still the best data we have.
