"Well... to be fair it is hard to walk to the Ranch with the twins and Adoni... especially since Adoni is more likely to uhm... be really really scared," Lin admitted.
She couldn't imagine how the little boy would react to the people on the Ranch but... if his reaction to everyone else so far was any indication... not very good. Though she would have liked to see how he would react to Saki since technically Saki was an animal.

"True," Shael agreed, "but maybe the ranch would be the best place for Adonijah ... after all, he loves animals as much as he fears people, and the ranch is where most of the animals are ..."
She shrugged her shoulders. "But I don't know. Maybe he would be too terrified of all the people and not even be able to go there for the animals."

Probably... there was a lot more people, but it seemed kind of sad that Adonijah was always so shy around people. Lin mused on this, and she really didn't know how to help.
"Maybe bring animals to him," she murmured, "Or at least I want to see him with Saki."

Shael laughed. "Well, talk to Aliya about it," she grinned, "or Amdir, because no one else will be able to bring him over there."
Just then Adonai and Ulrich came inside.
"Ready to introduce me to new people, Lin?" Ulrich grinned. "Cart's ready, just have a few things to take to Ulani and then we can head over."

Lin's eyes lit up at that, and she grinned from ear to ear, "Yea! I'm very ready!"
She was so excited, she wanted to know why Haradhel thought it was amusing and it was one of those times where seeing it was better than asking.
"And I can ask Aliya while we're there too," she told Shael before sprinting over to Ulrich, she was almost bouncing on her heels.

Shael giggled. "Well, have fun!" she laughed, waving. "Don't get into too much trouble!"
Ulrich chuckled. "Trouble? Us? Never!" He grinned and waved back. "See you later."
And he headed outside, back towards the cart.

"We'll be good!" Lin replied back.
She followed Ulrich back out eager to see what would happen, because it sounded like fun all of a sudden. Probably because of Ulrich's mood.

"Why don't you just head on over," Ulrich suggested as he climbed back up onto the cart, "and I'll meet you there when I'm ready. I have to bring the rest of this stuff to Ulani first, but I shouldn't be too long."
He waited patiently for her reply, sitting on the seat of the cart.

After all it wasn't that far really, so she could make it no problem.
"I'll see you later," she waved before heading off to Aliya's home.

Aliya was in the process of preparing some lunch for everyone in the kitchen, doing her best to work with Adonijah clinging to her ankle, but everyone else was in the living room, relaxing after a morning outside.
Pen was sitting quietly in one chair, trying to keep himself out of the center of attention, Lothiriel was sitting with Adwin and Feng on one couch, and Alyse was sitting by herself by the empty fireplace, reading a book.

Lin hurried along as fast as her feet could take her, which was pretty fast for a small skinny little girl. She managed to stop before ramming into the door, knocking on it like she was taught. She hoped everyone was in today.

"I got it!" Adwin grinned, jumping to his feet and running for the door.
"It's Lin," Lothiriel murmured with a smile, leaning back against the couch.
Adwin opened the door quickly and grinned at Lin. "Hey, you were right!" he called over his shoulder. He had made a game of testing Lothiriel's knowledge over the past several days, and he had yet to catch her being wrong about something.
He moved to one side. "Come on in," he invited Lin. "Lunch is almost ready."

Lin stepped in with a grin, "Ulrich is coming over in a moment too," she told Adwin, "He just got back."
She looked around to see who was there, she wondered if Ryu was with Adan, she didn't see him. The little girl decided to take a seat on one of the other chairs.
"Hi everyone!"

"Lin!" Feng squealed happily, "What brings you out here?"
Normally her sister was bugging someone on the Ranch, which could only mean there was something here that caught her little sister's interest. The mer wondered what that could be, as she sat there in mer form, her hands on her lap, though she looked a bit figety at the moment.

Lothiriel smiled at Feng. Even after a week with her, she was amused by how excitable the mermaid could be.
"Beren should be joining us shortly," she told Lin, not even knowing what was Lin's purpose in coming. "Aliya invited him for lunch today, he's helping out at Shael and Adonai's house."
