Jaden_Ordo I think we're all waay to wound up about this. We're having fun, calm down. It's just an RP. We're gonna be hauling all different loads of crap during our escpades so why fret so much over what one of those hauls is gonna be? Personally... I think the enemy ship deal could work to drive this RP a loooong time. IF played right. If played wrong it would just suck bantha testicles. I was just mad because I spent the time to work it out before hand and then people completely ignore it. And if we're gonna spend money on the ship, first priority is a new hyperdrive.

Does that mean I can charter you to get me to a sabaac tournament on Nal Hutta if the winnings go towards said hyperdrive?

Huttspace is a nice safe distance from major Imperial patrols.

Des Voh Looks like I'm going to be seeing quite a few swoop matches.... sweatdrop How much would said hyperdrive cost? 15,000 credits. Plus drydock fees. Then that costs us at least a week of downtime as we take out the old one and install the new one.

Every job I get paid for, the money gets swallowed up by repairs, maintenance, fees, and crew pay. Hence why I dont have that 15k or the time needed to install the drive. And considering how many crew we have on this boat, paychecks are gonna look pretty grim.

'ts okay. Some of us come from wealthy families...
I wonder, if you could come up with the 15k, i could potentially use my influence around fondor to skiff the drydock expenses. But then you'd have to worry about imperial activities...

Hmm. I always thought they were pro-imperial. Though the wookiepeida tends to say otherwise.

I'd have to say Fondor is pro-profit. Hence the appearance of her products on both sides of the GCW.

s**t. Stellar cleans up good.
Anywho, I've been hitting the books on Tramp Freighters, learning what people do on these ships.
The personel of the ship is divided as such, "Officially": Officers: These are the people responsible for the management of the ship. This includes the captain, navigator, pilot, and engineer. Everyone else is simply crew.
During the day on long trips, the deck crew (those not involved in fixing the ship) clean and maintain the non engineering sections of the ship. Engineering crew maintain, fix and clean the engineering sections. Officers supervise this duty and coordinate the crew. This is done during "Buisness hours" or roughly 9-5 during the work week. In the evenings the crew eat in the mess, watch holos, play card games, and generally relax, sometimes throwing parties for memorable occasions such as birthdays (If said recipiant is from a culture that celebrates birth days) or actual holidays. Passengers are not required to work and are generally expected to keep themselves busy or entertained as long as they dont interfere with ship operations.
