Also there's this cool stuff I'm hoping I'll get trained in. It's like a powder you pour onto wounds and it cauterizes instantly. Only you can't use it on the chest.

I think I know what you are talking about Z. If I remember correctly they talked about that in the military as a new way to stop blood loss, bullet wounds, or loss of limbs.

No, water would mess people up. Plus -not always clean/available. It probably hits the blood wink wink wink
It has a name. I just can't remember it. Quickclot maybe? Or no..thats used at the vets for trimming animals nails too close...GAH gonk

The hospital I work at has a series of tubes they send stuff around in. Not quite as cool as it sounds though.
Also I looked it up and it IS called quickclot. Apparently there's better stuff out there though, cause it's messy and burns people.
I finished a paper for school. Wish me luck.

Like my puppy? I caved and bought one >.>....I'm a sucker for adopting things. Gah my paper is weird. No one knows if we need a physical copy or not. Though I e-mailed it last night. So it should work out fine,...maybe...they've always wanted a physical copy before...
