"In this place. Near my true heart, and my coffin. I am as real, yet as false as any can possibly be. In this place, i'm older then even you, Roan. Here, with me, you need not fear pain, life or uncertainty. I am your anchor, that which weighs you down in reality. You know that this is real, because I am tied here, to you."

All of which he said, was true. It radiated from him. Despite his ghostly like complexion, and the fake he more floated, then sat at the edge of her coffin, he was real, and the sense of it flowed from him. The Chaos, the malice, all that made him a monster, and yet his love and devotion.

*A sense of weight lifted, expanding from her prison, accompanied by a great weariness*

.: I am tired. It never leaves me anymore. And to be alone, is to sleep the final sleep and leave all I remember behind me. It is so hard to give up, this memory of living... this semblance of life. I fear the dark places in my head more surely than a child fears the dark under her bed, yet I know the only monster I need concern myself with... is you.
When did the line between what is good and what is evil blur so far? I remember being as pure a dove, yet now, the anchor of my humanity lies in the truest darkness....

... I am thirsty. I desire my freedom. I desire contact. :.

"Sweet heart. There was never such a line.."

As this neutral world void of all elements began to stir with that which it was denied in original creation, the elder Cainite with his hide of the phantom, gradually lifted from the coffins edge to 'stand'.

Something indeed stirred in this void. From no where, in this vast nowhere, did these offensive storm clouds brew, each flashing violently with indigo lightning and shaking the realm with thunder. Sounds that may come to comfort the torporous Sire within the coffin.

"There is no good. There is no evil. But all the monsters, and men in this world, and the wretched dogs among them."

It was then that his eye opened after closing briefly during his movement. The deep scarlet, and endless obsidian lighting up with the most glorious of vibrancy. At the very same time, the patch over his right eye vanished into non-existant air, and this eye too, peeled open. both eyes mismatched, whatever was red in the right, was black in the left, and likewise with black being red.

Slowly, as the storm suddenly surrounded them like a dense fog, the roar of its malice vibrating the pair within its eye, Corbin turned his back on his coffin, and leered down at Roan's. Instantly, the viral markings spread to cover his entire body, and armour, however the markings on his hide were quickly dyed a blood red, leaving those on his garbs obsidian.

"We, are the monsters."

Slowly, he raised his right hand, and with but a gentle p***k, created a point at the end of his thumb for his blood to well into a single drop. As this drop of blood hung precariously on the end of his thumb, the arrow pierced symbol painted in blood on his right glove came to life, as the same symbol appeared as a surface of painted stone under his feet.

"We devour men, yet we are not evil for it. Men slay us, yet they are not good for it."

In this next moment, the old kingly looking General's hair writhed with its incomprehensible length, and his eyes were scattered, absolutely splashed across this entire universe, however not for long. In the next moment, the storm clouds began swirling, like a thousand maelstroms, before pitching upward, to form the ghostly figures of so many thousands of people, around these eyes. The next moment passed, and in this moment, these phantoms became flesh and bone, though most importantly...Blood. A mixture of their own, and that of the Fiend's. Ghouls every last one of the thousands of fallen foes and victims, those falled under his fangs.

"You know all of this all too well. Though if we must be one..."

The fallen looking king grinned, as the lock on Roan's coffin suddenly shattered, and its lid flung open. At the exposure of the torporous Sire, the thousands around them gasped without voices, their empty eye sockets bleeding endlessly grew wide, and their flesh, bone and blood corpses exploded into fine, glittering particals of crimson. More stars then there were in the universe, littered the darkened void, before each and every one gradually was drawn in to the pair, more specifically, Corbin. More specifically still, to the droplet of vitae at the end of his thumb.

Before long, the vast expanse was devoid of life once more, and but the two cainites floated amidst the raging electrical storm. As the conductor for this performance, Corbin with a look of stone, hurled his right hand out at his side, and a single bolt of indigo lightning flashed, striking the diablerist's hand, its voltage being taken into the drop of blood.

With that completed, the General ignored the two serpents that emmerged from his armour, and slithered down into the coffin with Roan. As Corbin held his hand out over Roan's lips, he spoke demandingly.

"Infinitas ninth ring. The Martyr!"

And that was it. As the drop of blood fell, both snakes opened their mouths, and struck. One reaching out from the coffin to rip into Corbin's hand, its bite near as strong as his own, as the other struck Roan's original scar, from when she was first embraced by the savage garden.

As the blood would splash over her lips, an ocean of vitae would be born, flooding all at once from the coffin, as if the moon had fallen to the oceans of the world, and the stake, was turned to ash.

"And walk again. Be reborn. Again."

As vitae rained furiously all around them, splashing against invisible floors, walls, and cielings in every which direction, the broken looking kingly Cainite glared down at Roan, as if just daring her to not awaken, as the white blood stained cloth of his glove around the snakes head still latched to his hand, started to smoulder, just as the flesh beneath it did render cinders and ash.

Never such a line... then you have not felt what it was to be human. This is why I iwll always be flawed, and why you must succeed me.

*She smiled as she sensed goings on without the coffin, but when it opened, she looked as was to be expected - a dried out husk of a body, only the flesh around the stake seemingly normal. Lips were drawn back vulgarly from her teeth, her closed eye sockets were shrivelled so much it seemed impossible that eyes could indeed be hidden behind them.

When the bite of the serpent sank into the body however, despite the stake, it jerked, then with the stakes removal, for a brief second before being engulfed in vitae, eyes opened revealing the burning depths of Roan's eyes.
A violent aura whipped about the place as the vitae flowing over and around Roan strengthened her, awakened her, reconciled her sleeping form and mind, returning her to the land of the marginally living.

Ferago spun upwards, its subsequent fall halted by a red coated hand as Roan stood, drenchedin vitae, monstrous indeed with only the white of her smile showing. She slewed the blade through the air, clearing blood form it, and in th same second, from herself.
She stood proud and dangerous in her Vengeance uniform, but now, two bold marks ran across each side of her neck. Where before there had been only the scars of her Embrace, now there was the seal of Ouroboros.*

Reborn...

*She blinked slowly, then crossed the diostance to Corbin, her grin dark, her gait fluid. When she reached him, she reached out with her unoccupied hand and gently took his chin, before drawing him into a kiss*

Thank you my love. Death does not sit well with me.
PostPosted: Tue Oct 02, 2007 1:20 am

"Alas, I have felt humanity. It has only set my idea in concrete. Set more firmly then our will is it, my belief that morals create the evil in our eyes, and so it will always change, and thus, never exist."

At the end of this kiss, this strange, first action made by the undead Sire, Corbin did c**k a brow, though at the end, smirk. raising his left hand, he brushed his Sire's check gently, tilting his head to one side as he looked down at her with admiration.

"Never can we be apart Roan. The old, and the new. The clan between us. Our bond is beyond the touch of any, even ourselves. In unlife, and final death."

It was then, as the glow in his eye and markings faded away, and he gave a faint chortle, that he gave a sharp whince.

Raising his right hand, the left clutching at his wrist, as the serpent finally let go of his hand, he gave an accepting sigh to what he found. The last of the glove cuff was just now falling away as the smouldering ashes ate through the glove, and the hand beneath. Staring with a bitter sweet smile at his rotting, smouldering flesh and exposed bones, he offered Roan one last look.

"Do me a favour."

This said, as his complexion grew hollow, transparent almost, and his body began to show signs of drying out.

"Look out for the ladies for me."

And with that, he grinned that classic, devious grin of his, this kingly adaptation of the General, before his hand found his broad sword, and with a deft motion, guided the steel through his armour, and chest.

He didn't make a sound as the blade cut through his false, mechanised heart, spine and the device that integrated with his spine. The last thing he needed, was it to prolong this process. That of final death.

"See you soon."

All trace of his existance, save for the bone dry corpse then vanished. He had used the martyr act, the ritual of sacrificing oneself for another's revival. It had drained every last drop of his blood, and even the blood of his familiars, the ghouls of his blood to commit.

It was nearly a minute later however, as the corpse of the General turned to a stone like figure, knelt on the invisible floor, that something was born in the back of the senses. A flicker of hope, the sort of hope that came from a desperate mind.

The smell of old blood.

Symbols and ritualistic designs flared angrily about the coffin, and after a moment, the mummified body within gave a whole bdy arch, a sudden jerk, and the haunting sound of a desperate breath for air echoed throughout the realm. As soon as the body seemed to be re-animated however, the lid slammed shut, its clap thunderous and booming, as thorny vines and serpents alike errupted from the symbols to entangle themselves around the coffin. This obsidian coffin, that now reeked of old, familiar blood, rather then nothing at all.

The casket, was locked shut. The mummy within, beyond any reach, as Roan would suddenly find herself standing in the main hall of her mansion, as if waking from a dream.

*she reached out for him as he faded and moved, knowing the what and the why, the serpents now embedded in her own neck coiling and hissing vehemently as they watched the master of the very Discipline that bore them succumb to one of its ultimate abilities.
Somehow, despite knowing Corbin would return, that he was not dead, Roan could not help but feel she had killed him. She had lost track long ago of just what he did in his spare time, and no longer watched over him as closely as she had so she merely ASSUMED the body she watched decay had been his first and original one... and watching that die hit at her very core, for all that everything that made Corbin himself lived on.
She shook the thoughts away, watching the casket shut. It was entirely possible of course that the body in the coffin was his first body and the one he'd been wandering about in lately had not. Ice's skills had had their uses after all, but then again... it didnt MATTER, despite what her feelings told her. Humanity had been her springboard into THIS, her true life. Though she felt the necessity of humanities edicts, she also knew Corbin was right. She was a monster and rightly so. Her bond to the infernal being known as Corbin was ultimate proof of the diversity of her own blood and will, and truly the bond would sustain even past Final Death. That then, was the first true hope she had felt in years. Death no longer meant leaving it behind. It merely meant waiting for the bastion of her humanity to return, and soothe a weary road worn soul.
As she faded back to the place she called home, a smile graced her lips*

Sleep well my son... and rise with vigour. Our cause was never greater, nor any bond so strong. I will be waiting.

It was on the field of battle that he belonged, much like his Sire. So much like his Sire, the monster dreamed of the fields...The fields of fire, debris, blood, corpses and foes. In this place, all that lay before him, was foe. All that stood before him, were victims. And so they would fall.

In this vast open field, with not much more then the shallow slope over the high grasses, the Lord stood, though none would know it was him from simply what they saw. A tall figure, completely wrapped in bandages. A long tail much thicker then his old tail, more like his original tail, back when he had first met Roan, reversed knees and a feather or two poking out from the bandaged wings.

One eye, concieled still by scarlet tinted glass peered out through the bandages at the many hundreds of demons and other monsters before him, across the field from where he stood. Before him, roughly half way across the field, between him and the demon army, a single double ended blade stood held in the soil.

Minutes pass by, as a strong wind sails over the grassy open field. Minute after minute, hounds snarl, Cainites growl, and monsters crack their tails. The mummified Corbin however, dosn't budge.

Finally, a large hell hound in the front line of the demons steps forward, issuing a thunderous roar, and in response..The army charges. Its nearly another half a minute later, and as this army rushes across the field, the mummy still stands still. Though in the next moment, he is gone.

A large, truck sized foot crashes down into the soil, and as debris flies through the air, when the foot is raised once more, the mummy appears, hand grasping firmly the grip between the two blades of the weapon in the soil.

With blinding speed, the blades are drawn from the earth, and the figure vanishes once more, only to appear yet again, sitting on his haunches on the shoulders of a large hell hound, holding tight his weapon, one end embedded in the skull on the monster, as the giant that had nearly stepped on the blades suddenly roared in agony, as its upper half fell away from the lower.

With this great speed, bandages couldn't remain entirely intact, and so the form beneath, was partly revealed.

A two toned mask covered the face, complete with glowing red lenses, and a two toned Ankh printed over the surface of the mask. Long pointed ears, much longer then the ears Corbin once flaunted, the hue of which, along with the rest of his hide, a brilliant cerulean. Not a mark on his body. No scars, no viral markings, there was however the new, large black ankh marred over his chest and stomach.

What exactly, had the General become? or was this, just fictional, like the rest of the dream?

Flesh, bone, blood and steel.

As the creatures of this, 'dream world' closed in around the General and his strange form, the DeSeer's scarlet lensed eyes flared, and without a sound, he started to rise up from his haunches as if to jump, though vanished with a gust of wind before his legs were even straightened, evading the lung of another hellhound.

This third assailant from the army however wasn't so lucky as to simply miss, and escape any ramifications for his attack, no. One could call what happened quite the opposite in fact, as the creature gave a horrid agonized cry, it's spinal column condensing, shrinking as the General appeared behind it, right hand grasped firmly around the hound's tail.

Having caught this poor critter whilst it still sailed through the air, Corbin's instinct guided his arm and the pivet of his torso to swing this hellion mongrel back into the crowd, as its spine shortened. One can only imagine what this would mean. The nervous system that ran over the spine was being pinched, crushed, cut or strangled, the skull was being yanked on, whilst the base of the brain was being ripped at. Luckily for the hound however, its suffering wasn't to be long. As its hulking fiendish form hit two ogresque creatures square in the chests, a more dragonic giant gave a mighty back hand, sweeping the trio aside to crash into the ground near a mile off in the distance.

As this new gargantuan lizard stormed forward, maw wide open, calm seeming eyes of blood red watched briefly, before the still half mummified blue skinned General turned and was off. Like the strangely pattering, though deafening rattle of machine gun fire his four toed feet struck the dirt, three claws digging deeply into the soil, whilst a fourth on the raised heel of either foot served to stabalize the creature.

Weaving through the army, around one ogre, and over another, then sliding under the long body of a mantis like demon, Corbin's new found blade cut through each to slow their evasion of the towering dragon on his tail, leaving them to be trampled as it roared hungrily.

Finally he leapt forward, his clawed feet, and the blade he found meeting the wide chest of a Garou. Before this wolf kin could fall however, the General, crouched against the chest of it turned to regard once more the dragon, and shot off from the Garou's chest, ripping the blade from its rib cage as he flew.

Sailing through the air t'ward the gaping jaws of the dragon, Corbin seemed intent on being swallowed, however as the beast opened its maw, and took a deep breath, a faint orange tinged glow forming in the back of its throat, the Generaldropped his right foot onto the skull of another demon under foot, and sprung forward again, this time with enough vigour to blur.

Flames did flood out from the dragon's jaws, and engulf more than a conciderable number of the creatures below, however Corbin's form seemed to continue through the flames unphased, as he vanished into the throat of this beast.

With a disgruntled growl and chomp from the monster, the flames extinguished with a smokey hiss, and it seemed Corbin had been devoured. However as the giant lizard gave a low groan in dissaproval of what it had swallowed, scales and flesh instantly rotted, and the entire form splashed against the dirt and grass as a foul, reeking puddle of soupy goop. Standing firmly in the midst of this puddle, Corbin now adorned an entire body of bone, having condensed the Dragon's entire skeleton into a stronger then steel hide of calcium and keratin.

Those scarlet eyes however still roared with vigour.

Assault, lightning and teeth.

So did the army begin to second guess this campaign, with such a foe before them that it was not a question of if, but rather how, they would meet their end? No. Not in this place, not in this dream. They came at him even harder, faster.

First the blade cut down an enraged Garou from head to quarter, next a bone encased shin turned the flesh of a Cainite's cheek to mince and the bone of the skull to powder. Next a tail of raised razor bone scales like a cheese grater swiped across the chest of fox demon, ripping flesh and muscle, even a rib or two away before the momentum sent the poor sod sailing through the air in barrel rolls. This manner of continuous offensive defense continued for some time, as palm heel strikes hit chests to shatter ribs and pulp organs turned to secondary attacks, where bone would then shoot out in the form of spears from the body to impale the next few in line.

More and more efficient with each foe that came at him. By the time ten minutes had swung by, Corbin was naturally crushing one foe with one blow, and at the same time useing their bodies to silence ten more. Spires of bone littered the earth around him, the smaller of foes held up in the air impaled, and the largest of them held up atleast from their entire bodies laying limp on the ground.

As this slaughter continued, it became drastically obvious. The numbers weren't diminishing. Instead, they grew. It came to the point that, already fighting over the countless bodies he was running out of room to move. Thank Frigg for his precognition.

Throwing his arms against his chest in a self hugging stance, still without a sound made on his part, his armour of bone errupted into a reversed pin cushion. Hundreds of needle thin spikes of bone errupted from his bone, strung out as thin and as frail as they could be whilst maintaining effectivness, for the sake of more targets down, then if he condensed the material.

Nearly a minute later, the 'dome' of needle spikes shattered at the 'roof', Corbin's body sailing out from within, his armour used up as he landed on the shafts of some needles, some stories above the ground now, his 'dome' of bone completely surrounded. It was only now that he realized JUST how many he faced. For miles there was nothing but claws, teeth, and rage.

He didn't have long to ponder his next move however, as the caw of a dire like crow dove for him. With another flare in those ruby lenses, the General turned on his right heel, then dropped his left foot forward onto the dome. In a few fleeting moments, the entire dome of needles, smoothed out to become an actual, spherical dome with a flat surface, thanks to the material left by the countless corpses below, and one long, thick spear of bone errupted right infront of his foot to meet with the diving bird, piercing its chest right through its back. More were to follow however, along with several misc. demons that scaled the dome sides.

Dropping low, the fiend decided he could best defend himself from the center of the dome, thus he darted off. Like a weaving bullet the saphire creature ducked around the few demons that were already atop the dome, selective steps activating spears of bone that would errupt beneath these slower monsters.

In time he reached the top of the dome at the center, and found himself completely surrounded once more, as the dome was littered with those that had managed to climb up, and those that still clambered, along with the airbourne monsters that approached hastily.

Too far. The skyward foes were still too far, compared to the land based monsters, too far for what he had planned. Waiting...Waiting..A little more..As he waited for the giant crows, air born dragons, and other such creatures to close in, three Garou were just about ontop of him, as the lunged forward. Nearly there....NOW!

And not with a moment to spare. As one claw came within an inch of his mask, Corbin's body dropped low, and rapidly spun on the spot, his tail sweeping across the surface of the dome in a full circle, setting off a wave of jagged, tooth edged bone spears that errupted in wake of the tail, impaling all atop the dome, and the monsters in the air as well. That wasn't all however, as the wave of spears continued to spiral outward away from Corbin at the center. All on, and around the dome were impaled. It still didn't end there however, as the saphire hide of the new Corbin began glowing dimly. Looking down at his luminescent hide, Corbin seemed stumped for a moment, though after a ponder, gave a shrug, and gave a thunderous crack of his tail on the bone surface at his feet.

The result was the largest lightbulb in histories conception, as bioelectrical lightning rifled through the corpses, and heated the bone dome to a rediculous degree, before the heat, and gases became too much to bare, and the blinding saphire globe vanished in a devestating explosion of volcanic proportions.

With that, soil, bone, bodies and stone were thrown aside, as Corbin climbed out from beneath the debris of the explosion, his body seemingly undamaged.

"I mean...Uhh, not, ow?"

As he sat up, looking himself over, a wicked grin would form hidden beneath that mask. Oh how he was enjoying this body. This body he had created for himself. His body of war. If he wasn't indestructable before, he was now. For before he even had to think of regeneration, his skeleton, his heart, his body reforming..He had his new hide. A hide stronger then even diamond. A hide constructed, and melded on a biological level with the natural hide of the body. Aggregated diamond nanorod flesh. The hardest material known to man.

Watching as the gloss faded from his flesh, signifying the regression of the nanorods, Corbin gave an amused bellow of laughter, kicking his feet like a child.

"Fantastic, this body is working out even better then I anticipaited!"

As the Diablerist looked once more to his hands, he found himself puzzled, as a flake of snow landed in the palm of his hand.

"Huh?...Is the dream shifting?"

Corbin rarely slept, very rarely, so he wasn't familiar with the 'feel' of a dream. Thus this change confused him some, as he looked to the sky so hastily filling with snow clouds.

It was then, as a whistle caught his lengthy blue ear, that the General rolled into the air off his right foot, and landed to watch an ice like needle fly by, evidentally aimed at him.

"More of you aye. Alright then kids, lets..Huh?!"

Across the near instantly iceing over field of butchered land, stood his higher up. The Syn Deceit. Ice Anon, arms folded over his chest with a smug look on his face.

"Oh, thats just perfect. I've been waiting for the chance to get into this body, and eliminate YOU from the race!"

With that, Corbin's new body vanished, appearing sporadicly over and over, hastily approaching the Syn, however as he appeared in the air above the fiend, glossy cerulean fist raised, Ice vanished himself, leaving Corbin to shatter the frozen earth with his indestructable fist.

Ripping his hand from the earth and ice, he growled, scanning the horizon.

"WHERE did you go you wretched THING?!"

Thrashing his tail against the ground in outrage, Corbin then found himself with his back turned to a new army, as if it had been there the entire time. At the back of the horde however, was a familiar figure. A figure he new far too well for his liking. Ice.

"I see. I'll play your damn game freak!"

It was then, that he tensed at the sight of Roan appearing, restrained by a column of ice, leaving but her neck and head free. She was beaten, horribly beaten and worn from battle. Of course, this enraged the Cainite general, not so much though, as the sight of Ice holding his needles of Haemoxinate to her neck, threatening to finish her.

His hide, and eye lenses flared with their respected colours, before he silently vanished once more, ice and earth being thrown away in the opposite direction.

Straight through the front lines he forced his entry, like a bowling ball running through a row of pins he threw demon after demon aside as he then came face to face with the maw of yet another giant Dragon. Not slowing down for even a moment, showing no hesitation, he launched forward into the air, his hide gaining that healthy gloss, and dim inner saphire glow, before his right shoulder hit fall force with the forehead of the dragon.

As lightning sprung up and shot into the heavens as Corbin acting the anchor, and waves of electricity rippled over the entire body of the beast, scales shattered and flesh split to expose the shards of crushed bone. If it wasn't for the angle of the skull, and the beast throwing its head back instantly upon impact, Corbin might have shot clear through the skull, and exited through the back of the head to continue on. Instead, he was hurled even higher into the sky.

Over sized demonic birds of prey swooped in, each testing its mettle against the new Corbin, though with each attempted stike, talons were blunted, beaks broken and bones turned to pebble like messes.

Free to reach the climax of his ascent, Corbin's eyes never left the completely infuriating scene at the end of the army waves. Not even as his bioelectrical stores started to once more charge, and he began his descent.

Falling as fast as somthing so dense, and heavy would, he streamlined his body, diving t'ward the icey earth head first, tail straightened out behind him, its girth acting as a rudder to direct him with limited efficiency.

Suddenly, he hit. The very instant His body hit the ice, a lense flaresque effect took over the scene, and the entire are was engulfed in the blinding saphire light. As the light faded however, it revealed an even more astounding sight.

The entire field, miles of demons and other such creatures, held levitating in the air. Saphire lectricity ran rampant all across the landscape, the very air being turned into a conducter thanks to the moisture of the ice and snow. It was however the magnetic fields created through the super charge, that lifted the armour clad corpses into the air along with everything else with even the slightest conductive molecule in its make up. In the midst of it all, at the bottom of the crater formed by this electro-explosion, Corbin stood un-harmed by the fall, his eyes leveled at Ice, as steam from the super heated air cooking the ice ploomed across the horizon.

Still with that savage fire in the scarlet lenses of his mask, and the cerulean of his skin, he snarled with complete loathing, his fists tightening enough that the harder then diamond skin flashed brighter then the rest of his body, thanks to the super heated friction.

"IIIIIIIICCCCCE!"

Corbin's body, still hot as lava, though rapidly cooling from the discharge and innertial friction then tensed up, and he was off once more, as the air lost its charge, the scene falling back to the earth as he raced like a bullet across the fields t'ward his target.

Violet suited you better, my violent little pet. One more move... and I shall see just how fun Vengeance's body really is... why she has always been so keen to keep THIS one...

*Pink eyes flared red, the dream Ice defying the possible as on his neck, mirror images of the Infinitas serpents appeared. Sliding smoothly out of his neck while the floor beneath the scene Ice presented also took on the ouroboros logo, the faun grinned*

Prehaps I should just go ahead and kill her off, and FORCE her into another body... crafted my way of course... I can kill her in more ways than you can imagine boy... I can break her mind, more than I did yours.
Oh and your little light show? nothing.

*Ice grinned as he invoked his name sake. The great polar caps of the planet defined the magnetic poles of the entire world after all, and in a dream, everything was exaggerated. Disruption ran along the lines holding the army aloft, Ice hissing as he pressed one needle closer to Roan's neck, pirkcing it and making the frozen woman scream as the liquid reacted on contact with her skin*

The Diablerist came to a screeching halt, his mind forgetting for a time, that this was a dream. After all, this was his first. He didn't know better then to ignore the threats on a faux Roan...or for that matter, a faux Ice. He took this seriously, as if it truely were a real world scenario.

Behind the mask he snarled, that tail cracking against the ice like a whip despite its girth, a vibrant ripple of light passing from the tip up to the base, then oveer the rest of his body, electroplaques preparing to multiply, and fire.

"Always with the cheap tricks Ice. Rare is it that you fight me on your own!"

Deep within the genetics of this new body, something stirred, something reeady to strike at any given moment.

"Not so confident against the unknown, Deceit?!"

A foolish hope, boy... Did you never listen to your master here?

*The needle jabbed into Roan once more, the fiery red of Cainitic allergic reaction burning over her skin as she again screamed, far more than any real version of her ever would, but that was the point, wasnt it?*

How often has this b***h you lavish your affections on been accused of cowardice due to using you, the mongrel beast? How many times has she been verbally abused in JUST that way? Allies are her forte... and my way of fighting is mine.
By all means, come at me, slave. I hold your master and she WILL die before you reach her... I will profane her body like no other for you, my dear beast... I will take her apart mentally and physically before you ever reach me.

*all around Ice, thorny briars formed, coiling through the ice about him, rearing above him, spreading like ink pulled into sharp lines*

You could never HOPE to match up to her standards, child... you lived in her shadow and you'll die in even more humiliation than she will.

I Frore

Again, the friction in his hands as he clenched his fists turned them white hot, as electrical energy stared to build around him. His body was trembling all over, everything metalic around him starting to levitate, though instead of lashing out, he lowered his head as the abnormalities faded to nothing around him. Had he finally been broken?

"I know my worth."

His head then raised once more, those scarlet eyes glowing brilliantly, as time would stand still. Tempus fugit. Time actually stoped, though Corbin remained uneffected. In this moment that time stood still, Corbin would attempt to use Roan's own shadows beneath the ice, to spread and engulf her, before shadow walking her away.

It was then that he would start a slow, step by step approach on Ice if he succeeded.
