lymelady That stupid PP golden gate cartoon really shoulda stayed up. They argued our point. "We make choices every day. Like I choose to stop at this red light." Yeah, but if you don't, you get jailed. So are police anti-choice or just anti-you-breaking-the-law? Seriously though, there are some who are pro-fetus and feel women who get pregnant should give birth as a punishment. It's like, what? Pregnancy is a punishment? Since when? Then there are people who claim to be pro-choice but agree with forced abortions in dense areas. Or are like Ellen Barken and will drag their daughters screaming and crying to abortion clinic if they get pregnant. Because god forbid a 12 year old giving birth. We know what's best for her. Let's force it on her. Best response to anti-choice: "I suppose you support legal rape since it's a person choosing what to do with their body. It's an infringement on reproductive rights to say that rape is illegal." Yeah, so true. We don't think pregnancy should be punishment at all, but we don't think that the child should be punished and torn apart just because someone else doesn't want it.

Haha ^^, a small laugh is good for the soul. Just went through the pro-choice guild and looked at some of the threads and comments. These people are very intelligent, that is known. But what is sad is that they make threads telling of us as Pro-Lifers and what they dislike, or bashing us in some sort of sense confused . Which really quite bothers me because I hate seeing intelectuals lower themselves to personal attacks and flames.
I can't tell you how many times I have been told my opinions are wrong. Ah yes that opinion is wrong of course since you don't belive in it. And Christianity bashing... well is just really sad. You don't see Christians out there telling people they will go to hell for their beliefs, besides some nutjobs which they generalize all of them into.
Ah well, I try to be as kind as possible, and I cannot ask them for much since they are who they are.
I didn't mean to be rude, but it's just I feel like the only way to deal is to leave.
Ah well, I love and hope for all the goodness in all humans. God Bless them, and let us all pray for them, as well as anyone that needs prayer.
I mean only if you wish too... I'm not saying that everyone in here is a believer of God, but I'm just saying for well to pray. biggrin
Thank you.

Good idea. I'm praying too.
What I love best is atheists telling Christians they'll go to hell.
It makes me giggle.

The thing is no matter how much someone prays, God will not change anyone else's opinion they have to do that for themselves. You can't force someone to do whats right or to stand up for it. It just seems so hopeless sometimes, I don't think we'll ever be able to stop legalized abortion. It continues to gain support while the pro-life movement dwindles. The only thing we can hope for is that in the future the effects of abortion will be seen and the trend will go the opposite way.

biggrin Yes yes, morals really hav eno say in todays society. And yes prayer may not change their opinion, but we can still pray for their souls, as everyone in our world needs prayer. Hey I'm not the perfect Christian, I'm probally one of the worst... but the thing is that I know God loves me, no matter what.
But again this is free will at work, which is a fascinating thing to say the least. To chosse whom and what action a person may take, without limits to their thinking.
But about stoping legalized abortion... well there is always hope, but still abortion will happen. Nothing we can do to stop these people wink .
Anyway, whenever you are finished with a debate please bless them and say a small prayer for them. Also try not to sound rude in any fashion, because honey attracts bees better than vinegar wink .
And it may seem like they will "win" the debate, which is immpossible since no one side is right, by belittling you, but really you have the moral uperhand, for not stooping to a low level.
God bless them, because we all know that they are good people with good hearts. Amen.

You haven't read the latest polls, have you? Majority of America is prolife. People are starting to see it now. The prochoice movement is dwindling. When Hillary Clinton says the need for abortion proves that we aren't treating our women right, you know that the tide is turning. Yes, she did say it. Wonderful to hear, even if she's just trying to get votes.

lymelady:I thought the latest gallop poll showed the 60 something percent of americans supported roe v. wade. Master Kaiser: Yeah, I know what you mean about blessing your opponents I just get real dishearted when people can't see that killing children is wrong. I do disagree with you on one thing though, I do think there is a right and wrong side of this debate, in fact I know it.

You need to look at the ones not about RvW.
Because most people don't know anything about it. All they know is it legalized abortion.
It didn't. Abortion was legal before it. States chose whether to have it or not. Also, it set dates. Most people in America are against abortions past the first trimester in anything but life and death. They think that with RvW gone, women won't be able to abort if their life is in danger. They also tend to say that abortion isn't legal past the first trimester anyway.
The internet's caused more women to share their stories on abortion. People are starting to listen to them. More teens are prolife now than ten years ago. PAS is grudgingly being admitted to being a real problem. Clinics are shutting down.
Don't lose hope. What people need is to understand what RvW did. Most people don't. if they did, according to what people answer in specific questions about abortion involving timing, government involvement, etc, they wouldn't support it. Or couldn't without being hypocrites.

The internet is a mixed blessing.
Women started being able to share their experiences. They got info out that the people selling abortions don't generally give out. They formed support groups and spoke out.
No longer is the public only shown the views of the people with money.
