How come you've been out of school for so long?
I wish I was going back to school. I have two little girls I'd need to make arrangements for though... *sigh*
It's been snowing a LOT here.

Because I...stopped going. xDD
.__. We're hoping our snow will go away soon. But it's been snowing in the middle of the day and in the middle of the night more'n usual, s'far as I can see, and that's like, "oh my crap." But the cold snap is over, and that's good, because we had a week of it feeling like minus fifty Celsius. D;

Well it's good to get your diploma. I hated school too, though probably for different reasons. I never felt like it was a jail. ^^;

Jenannen Well it's good to get your diploma. I hated school too, though probably for different reasons. I never felt like it was a jail. ^^; : ] School is going a helluva lot better now. I love getting up in the morning and going there. My classes are going great and the minor issue with the other kids is resolved in my head. My teachers are pretty good to me, and I'm getting a 98% in Learning Strategies! I have some really good friends there and I'm learning a lot in art.
In short, school is no longer a jail to me.
;O; Why'd you hate school?

Wow! That's great!
Partly I got bored with it. Partly... Well I could bring home a report card with all As and a B and my dad would harp on me about a B 'cause "You can do better than that!" So somewhen I stopped trying if nothing I did was good enough... sweatdrop Also during some of my school years I fell into preblems with depression (which we dicovered later) and did't get the meds/help that I needed for it at the time.

Sounds a lot like my tenth grade year. I had top marks up until I entered high school, when they dropped and I got depressed; I'm not sure if my grades dropped because I got depressed or if I got depressed because I struggled in school. :/ I used to get made fun of a lot, because I'd use absolutely no discretion with my wardrobe. In that, I mean that I wore what I wanted. It wasn't like, revealing, or anything, but it was weird, and certain kids felt they were at liberty to pick on me. I started missing a lot of classes because I was afraid of a lot of my classmates, so I'd go draw in a field until hometime, and things like that. After a while, the different problems fed each other so that none of the problems ever really got fixed. They carried on into grade eleven, even though the teasing was mostly over, and I still had a lot problems in school up until, in fact, I came to this new school in February. Now I'm doing great, as I said, even though I still have to deal with my depression issues. Getting a new school didn't help with that problem, unfortunately. -Shrug- It's not a medical concern, as far as I know. I've been to doctors to see about that, but they're pretty sure I'm just a regular dramatic teenager, which is the most likely case since I am a hypochondriac and am in reality a very healthy person in all respects. ^^;
-Squawk- :'D I'm excited for Spring Break, I'm going to read a ton of books and go to a metal show I've been anticipating for about two months. WHOO!
Holycrap; tl;dr warning, much. :B

I'm glad to hear that things are going better for you. Depression for me wasn't a teen thing. Most of my family's had/has problems with deprssion. Apparently there is a chemical imbalance. So for me meds do help.
I always looked forward to Spring Break.
Thanks <3 Have you seen Fruits Basket?
You should!

Yeah, I really like the animé. I haven't read the manga though. From what I've heard it goes beyond where the animé ends.

D: it drives me nuts when animes and mangas are inconsistent in some way when compared to each other for the same series, right. Especially when the manga ends and the anme keep going, like, wtf. xDD
