Kikyo growled as she took up a more defensive stance. "Damn it! They just keep coming! How the hell do we defeat these sons of a b-"
Kanshin, who had started crying in fear, got an idea. "Kikyo-sempai! I have an idea! I can seal the ice on the ground! I think they're using that to regenerate or something! They have to be, cause, I mean, they act kinda like water clones do. Maybe that's what's keeping us from beating them!"
Kikyo thought it over as Kanshin spoke. "Yeah, well, if Shun would help more then we wouldn't be having as had a time, but I think you're right. Alrght Kanshin, get up and started sealing away as much of the ice as you can. Once you do, heat the air up. They don't seem to like the heat of fire." Kikyo then realized there was something in her pocket. She reached her hand in and pulled out what looked like a key chain. What was it? And how did it get there? Who knows. She'd worry about it later.
Kanshin looked at the keychain and smiled. "I didn't know Kikyo-sempai had good luck charms~! That one's really weird looking though..... Alright alright! I'll work on the sealings now! Don't glare at me like that Kikyo-sempai! You're scary when you're mad!" She got up and pulled out scrolls, throwing them to the ground and doing a series of hand signs, slapping her hands to the ground and sucking the ice into the scroll.
Kikyo continued gaurding Kanshin as she did several quick hand signs and took a deep breath. Her skin slowly started red right before she used her Fire Blast on any and all slime girls that came any where near her and Kanshin, but mostly Kanshin. Here and there she'd feel an attack, but that was when she'd use Fire Blast directly into their face. The act of continuously blowing fire out of her mouth scorched her mask, revealing her face to the world, but even though this was so she didn't worry about it snce she knew what was needed to be done.

Kanshin felt her stomach churn and had a hard time focusing. She felt her eyes burning, so she squeezed then shut. Thankfully she'd picked up Kikyo's heat signature a long time ago, so it was easy to pick out which blob of heat was Kikyo and which one was the slime girls. She would have to thank her mother and father for being born with Enkou blood the next time she saw them. As she kept an eye on the slime girls' silloutetes, she kept working on getting rid of the ice. Thankfully half the battle area was already out of ice, and the dead, brown grass underneath was now revealed. "Kikyo-sempai, how are you handling? All I see is blurred heat and your figure shaking and verking violently the next second. Is everything alright?"
Kikyo coughed violently after receiving another punch and spit out a mouth full of blood. She scooped some of the snow off the ground and shoved it in her mouth before reaching into the sleeve of her jacket and pulling out her medicine. She sighed, feeling better now that her lungs no longer burned from the toxins before feeling another smack. She eard Kanshin and turned her head a little towards her. "I'm ******** peachy, thanks for your concern. Keep your eyes closed and your mind focused." She rubbed her eyes, knowing that they were beginning to water. She activated her Elemental Vision so that way she could see through the water gathering in her eyes. Much better. She gripped the key chain she had found and quickly grabbed the katana off of her back.
Kanshin saw Kikyo's figure moving something long and narrow into her hand. It was safe to assume it was some sort of weapon, so she kept working on the ice seal. "She'll be fine..."
Kikyo gripped the sword and wrapped the broken heart keychain around the bottom of her katana. The next thing she knew, her sword changed shape, taking the shape of what looked like a key. "Eh? What the hell happened to father's sword? Is this one of those weird key blades I heard about? Huh. Wonder what mine does..." She slashed at an on comming slime girl and felt the sword absorb a whole bunch of chakara and send it into he body. "What is this? I feel so much stronger? How much chakara did I take? And how?" She saw more slime girls comming and decided now wasn't the time to ask questions.

Kikyo gasped for air as she spun her new keyblade around to attempt getting the slime girls away from her while using her vectors to attempt shoving them away as well. She spit another mouthful of blood out and turned to Kanshin, seeing her struggling as well. This was pointless, and there was no way thy could do this alone. She cringed in pain and ran to Kanshin, feeling her joints getting heavier. She took the key chain off the sword since the key blade was heavy, causing the katana to go back into its normal, lighter form. She slung Kanshin over her shoulder and started running as fast as she could. "DAMN IT! We're losing! Kanshin, can you do any jutsu? C'mon, use anything on them! Please! Even if it causes minimal damage!"
Kanshin opened her eyes, knowing full wel keeping her eyes closed at this point was pointless to all extremes. She did a series of hand signs and began using Cherry Blossom Snow Storm, hoping the expolsions would at least get some of the slime girls off their trail since she was having a hard time moving. She hoped Kikyo would have enough jutsu to use the technique she usually hated Kikyo using, especaily when Kikyo had her thrown over her shoulder. Getting any where where the slime girls couldn't reach them was better than nothing. She tried to supress a cough, knowing it wouldn't be good if Kikyo heard her coughing since it'd oly cause Kikyo more pain. "K-Kikyo-sempai, can we leave now? I want to go home. I don't want to fight here any longer."
Kikyo coughed hard and panted as she continued her best to run. "Sure Kanshin, what ever. Any where is better than here. Maybe if we went to your home then maybe we'll have people to help us."
Kanshin nodded. She knew if help didn't arrive soon that they'd be forced to flee.

Kikyo put all her strength into jumping up into the air so that she could easier preform Air Walk. As she stood high above the slime girls, she looked down and panted hard. She coughed once more and spit some blood onto the head of one of the slime girls as a way of silently mocking them.
Kanshin looked down nervously at the slime girls below. "Kikyo-sempai, I don't think it's a good idea to do stuff like that. What if you make them mad?"
Kikyo looked at Kanshin like she was a huge idiot. "Kanshin, they're already pissed off. Why do you think they're here to destroy this village, or why would they want to kill us so badly? After all, you've never done a thing wrong in your life, and I haven't commited any crimes.... yet. Any ways, obviously they're already mad about something, so me spitting out the blood that's making me have a hard time breathing and having it accidently land on one person's head probably won't make a flying ******** of a difference."
Kanshin laughed nervously and rubbed her neck a little. "Kikyo-sempai, it never fails to amaze me how narrow-minded you are, but I guess I can see your point. Hey, Kikyo-sempai? Aren't your arms and legs killing you? I'm in pain just having my arms and legs dangle, so It must be aweful since you're, not only carrying me, but also flying above the ground using chakara alone."
Kikyo continued giving Kanshin a look reading how stupid she was. "You really dont know when to stop talking, do you? Thanks for remnding me the amount of PAIN I'm suffering through. Maye if I just drpped you..."
Kanshin epped. "Sorry Kikyo-sempai! I'll stop asking questions to you now!" She looed down at the slime girs and pouted. "Hey! How come you all were trying to attack Shun earlier? Did he do something bad, or is it the village you're after? Why are you attacking the village? Can you talk? Please tell e why you want to kill Kikyo and I."
Kikyo sighed loudly. "Kanshin I can easily answer that last question for them; it's because we got in the middle of them trying to devour Shun, or what eer they had been planning to do..."
".... Oh, I see your point..."

Kikyo frowned and looked to Kanshin. "Alright. Looks like you went and pissed them off. Way to go Kan-Kan."
Kanshin pouted and looked up to Kikyo. "But Kikyo-sempaaaaai! I didn't mean to make them mad! I only wanted to see what was troubling them so that maybe we could all sit down and have a nice little chat and discuss our issues like calm, civilized beings!"
Kikyo looked at Kanshin as though she was the stupidest person on earth. ".... You really want me to back-hand you, don't you? I'm only going to say this once Kanshin, so listen up. We. Are. Are you following me? NINJA!!! We don't sit down and have a nice little chat and discuss our issues like calm, civilized beings. NO! We fight, and kill, and then lagh at the fact that we killed them and go find the next person to go fight! Now then, this is getting quite annoying. Hold still and don't move, Kanshin, or you might just get hurt." Kikyo closed her eyes as the genjutsu that had been hiding what she truely looked like started to disappear. The two demonic horns on the top of her head made themselves seen as the four vectors appeared, seeming to come from her back and form menacing looking, claw-like structures aimed at the slime girls. Kikyo opened her golden eyes and gave a menacing smirk down to the onproaching slime girls. "Now then, let's get this started. Kanshin, how about you try doing something useful, but be sure you stay still. Latus touch is a danderous technique that'l kill you if you get hit, so don't make sudden movements in my perriferal vision, got it?"
Kanshin looked up fightenedly at Kikyo as her true form showed. She nodded slowly, feeling the effects of the gasses make her move slowly. At least she wouldn't have to worry about making sudden movements. She slowly raised her hands and did a hand signed before activating the Hell Veiwing Technique. Kikyo warned her how horrible the effects would be on the victim, but maybe it'd slow the slime girls down, or maybe even make them not want to bother her and Kikyo any more. She closed her eyes and finished the hand signs before quietly saying "Hell veiwing technique..." Now, all that was left to do, was wait and see what would happen next. Maybe if the slime girls slowed down, Kikyo would some how bring out some awesome attack and defeat them. She crossed her fingers, hoping Kikyo did in fact have some awesome plan in store.

Kanshin whimpered in fear. "Kikyo-sempai, what do we do now? No one's gonna save us, and the genjutsu didn't work."
Kikyo stood still for a moment before stating bluntly her plan. "We run as fast as the wind can carry us, and then some. And we only stop when we get out of this hell hole."
"....WAS THAT YOUR ONLY PLAN IF SCARING THEM DIDN'T WORK!?!"
Kikyo fell silent for a breif moment. "Umm, wel, yeah, that about sums it up, but the way you say it sounds so negative."
"HOW ON EARTH DO YOU PUT IT INTO ANY OTHER WAY THAT SOUNDS BETTER!?!"
"Try not screaming it. Sounds a lot nicer when you say it calmly like I do." With that, Kikyo turned and used Wind Dash, going along with the direction of the wind to help push her faster since she could tell that any moment her joints could lock up, so the sooner they left, the better.
Kanshin watched the slime girls and gasped. "Shun-kun! We left him behind! Oh no Kikyo-sempai, we told him we'd help him, and now we're leaving him!"
Kikyo sighed. "I know usually I say screw the consquinces and run head first into a fight, but for some reason I have the feeling that staying here with no back up is suicidal. We'll see if we can find any one else fighting these things, help them, bring 'em back here, and then have them help us help Shun. See? My plan of running's not so bad now, huh?"
Kanshin pouted and wimpered a little, not liking the idea of abandoning Shun to fight on his own.

Hido stood on top of the world, or as close as humanly possible. He was actually standing on a large device created for his transportation. He called it Hido's Flying Castle... well not really. It appeared to be a large boat made of wood, with twelve large metal propellers holding it up and two metal propellers directing it. All of this and more made possible by his own special power. He descended upont he village hidden in snow noticing three things immediately. One two people running away, never a good thing, and two a large mass of slime girls, very hot but that's beside the point, going back to the village. Hido shook his head chuckling and snapped, the ship disassembling itself beneath his feet, letting him drop unharmed the last twenty or so feet down, cushioning the fall with a large pocket of shadow that rose fromt he ground to catch him. He pointed in two directions at once, one finger in the direction of of the slime girls, still very hot, and the other in the direction of the two retreating nin, one of which was familiar. Immediately the object of these points was revealed, as a large wall of strange black ice erupted up in front of the slime girls, and before there was any time for reaction, the two nin would be trapped in a massive dome of ice unmeltable and almost unbreakable by normal means. The wall of black ice was a unique thing however, since it in fact held no weakness. It was a fusion of ice and darkness, a special attribute of Hido's own creation that couldn't be melted, or burnt like ice, couldn't be destroyed by light, in fact light made it stronger. It also could not be manipulated by anyone except for Hido, since it didn't hold the elemental properties of either shadow or ice. It was it's own element that only hido could harness.

Kikyo stopped in surprise that there was suddenly a giant, black dome forming above them and was so momentarily freaked out, that for the first time since she had learned Air Walk she fell to the ground. She landed with a thud and gasped in pain since her lungs still burned from the gasses the slime girls had given off earlier. She hadn't realy realized just how mch pain she was until the cool of the snow started cooling off her aching joints, causing her to scream a little in pain.
Kanshin looked around worriedly when they began to fall. She had seen that the slime girls had stopped following, so where did this thing come from? Was it a trap they had set up. She then noticed some one who had arrived and grinned happily. "HIDO-KUN! He came to save us Kikyo-sempai~! Look look! See~? That's Kido-kun~! That's the guy that-"
"Oh, shut the hell up already Kanshin. You see me crying in pain, and here you are getting all worked up like a freaking puppy over your little beloved Hido-kun. What did tell you about saying his name around me again, hmm? Want me to give you a crew cut using my father's sword like I said I would?"
Kanshin eeped and her hands flew to the top of her head as she pouted a little. "But Kikyo-sempaiiii~! It's Hido-kun~! He came here to save us~!"
Kikyo sighed loudly and face palmed as bes as she could. "You idiot, he's putting us in a freaking black dome so we can't escape the enemies and recover to get help. He isn't helping us or saving us, he's capturing us to sabotage us. Baka. You're way too trusting, you know that?"
Kanshin whimpered and whined a little to Kikyo as the dome sealed over, still being able to see Kikyo's heat pattern even in the darkness. "But sempai, maybe this is to protect us~! I bet its got some sort of healing ability~!"
"Tch. Yeah. Ok. What ever. But when yet another poisonous gas starts to seep in and slowly slash painfully kil us, I'm gonna be saying I told ya so. Now, get over here so I can heal you. I can't move, and since you've been still for so long and conserving your energy, you should be able to move. C'mere."
Kanshin sighed a little and put on a sad smile before pushing herself into a standing position and walking over to Kikyo. Maybe the reason Kikyo asked Kanshin to come over was that she needed some one by her. It was likely since Kikyo often talked about how she hated being alone. She saw a bright light suddenly as Kikyo's hand moved onto Kanshin's back and felt a healing sensation, knowing Kikyo was using light cross. Even though they were stuck in the dome, at least they'd be healed in case something bad happened when the dome finally let up. She smiled happilly, knowing Kikyo could see Kanshin only a little bit in the little light she could pull from the darkness to heal Kanshin, and thought she could hear Kikyo smile ever so slightly. When Kikyo finished, she yawned loudly.
"Alright, I need to replenish my chakara, so I'm gonna use one of my clan's techniques now where I can recover my chakara quickly by sleeping. Wake me when this thing goes up if I'm still asleep."
Kanshin smiled and nodded obediately. "Yes Kikyo-sempai! I'll wake yu up when Hido-kun lets us out of here!"
Kikyo groaned at the mention of Hido's name once again and closed her eyes. She'd try to work on using Light Cross on herself while using Great Awake.
