Mooneye was respectful enough not to groan during the leader's directions, but despite the pain in her leg she had no desire to be cared for by another clan's medicine cat. It made her feel pitiful. But she didn't say a word as she was escorted into the camp and then into the medicine cat's den. She didn't have the heart to say anything, she was ashamed of herself. Getting bitten by a snake...how mousebrained.
Dampfoot waited for Icestar to finish talking and then she approached Icestar. "I'm sorry, I mean no disrespect but I think i should go back to my clan and explain. I'm sure they will be worried. I know the way to Fourtrees I can make it. Thankyou for helping us." Dampfoot nodded respectfully and then walked out of the camp. She ran as fast as she could back towards Riverclan territory. I hope Torrentstar hasn't left yet.

Icestar turned to face Bronzepaw just as Dampfoot was leaving. "Bronzepaw, for one, you're injured. And two, you're still in trouble." she mewed quietly. Then she raised her voice, so her clan could hear her. "Let's go." she announced, and with a flick of her tail she lead the way out of camp, keeping a close watch on the RiverClan warriors.
Lionheart kept silent and followed swiftly behind Icestar, Ravenfang, and Crystaleye.

Bronzepaw groaned and walked over to the medicine at's den. "Hi, Mooneye! What's it like in RiverClan? What's an elder like? How'd you get hurt?"
Spicepelt walked, following Icesetar. "Won't Torrenstar be suprised when we bring back three warriors."
Crystaleye walked, looking back at Mooneye before continuing.

Leopardpelt watched the cats leave and sigh. She knew she had to stay, there was a snakebite to attend to. She hurried back to her den. "Mooneye, is their a lot of pain?" She asked while she was gathering the herbs she needed for the snake bite. Marigold should be enough, but I have to make sure the poison hasn't traveled to her heart yet. Leopardpelt put her ear on Mooneye's chest to hear her heartbeat. It was panicked, but not infected with poison. I have to remember to ask Dampfoot what the snake looked like.

She winced as she shifted her weight for Leopardpelt. She bit back her pride and answered her question honestly. "Yes but only in my leg right now." The other cat that was asking her questions, she ignored. She squeezed her eyes shut tightly and winced as if to prove her point.

"Okay Mooneye, I'm going to try and keep any vemon away from your heart, so the cobwebs I put right above the wound will be very tight. Do you know if Dampfoot, or any other cat saw the snake?" She said as she gathered her supplies and wrapped a turnicate above the two bite marks.
