Elros chuckled softly. "Indeed," he murmured, reaching out and patting the horse on the shoulder.
After a few minutes, he glanced down at Lin again. "I have to give my report now to Lord Elrohir. Do you want to come with or would you like to go see someone else?"

"Hmm.... I don't know who else to see, do you think the man who looks after the horses is done for today?" Lin asked Elros.
The man by which she had meant the headgroom, since she thought he was interesting.

"Elberon?" Elros questioned, just to make sure. "Hmm ... I suppose he might be, though I don't know where to find him, then. We can look in the stables, and if he's not there then my best bet would be to look where your older brother and sister are ... he's curious, and he would jump at the chance to be able to ask them as many questions as he can."

"I noticed," Lin replied with a nod, "He showed me his fingers."
For that reason alone Lin had deemed Elberon very curious because anyhow who would touch something after being told not to had to be very, very curious indeed.

Elros chuckled. "Well, I hope you're not as curious as he is," he murmured, heading now towards the stable, "because I'd hate to see something like that happen to you."

"I like my fingers," was Lin's replied.
She held her hands close to her chest, she was curious, but not taht curious thank you!

Elros laughed aloud, tucking Lin safely in the crook of his arm as he entered the stable.
"Well, I'm glad for that," he grinned at her, his eyes scanning the lower level.
"Elberon!" he shouted, calling for the man. He waited a moment, but there was no reply. He tried once more. "Elberon!"

"Maybe he already left?" Lin suggested.
After all if he was really done his work, then he would be going to talk to her siblings, or trying to. Feng would like him she thought to herself.

"Probably," Elros agreed with a curt nod, heading through the stables for the door on the opposite wall. "And if they were going to be sparring, as they were talking about, they're probably in the middle of the yard."
He opened the door and stepped outside, and sure enough there was Elberon with Aliya, Feng and Ryu.

Feng was at an ease stance holding a battle fan in each hand as she watched Aliya and her brother Ryu. She was defaulted to more hand to hand and kick style fighting since fans were more difficult to use in a bloodless fight.
Ryu in the meantime was keeping his eye on Aliya in a defense stance.

"There they are!" Lin pointed the four out, "I hope Elberon is being careful this time," she murmured.
At least she hoped so, who knows what would happen if you told him to touch something.

"He'd better be," Elros murmured, heading for the group.
Elberon was pestering Aliya with question after question about how she felt about the differences between her way of fighting and Ryu's, but for all his chatter Aliya remained undistracted. At the moment, she was setting up for an attack, choosing her footing carefully and watching Ryu.

Ryu raised his sword hand having it at an angle as his other hand went up in front of him two fingers held up as if he was lining up his arm and sword. It was this signal that he moved from defense to a preparation for a counter attack if needed.
Feng couldn't help but giggle at Elberon even though she really should get the older elf to stop talking so the two could spar undistracted. Even though the questions he was throwing wasn't bothering Ryu at the least. It was called tuning out the chatter.

"Is he trying to hold a conversation with them while they are practicing?" Lin asked in confusion.
She didn't understand how anyone could focus with him chattering away like that.

"It looks as though he just might be," Elros murmured. "Aliya should be used to it though, she asks nearly as many questions as he does, and far more quickly, too."
He paused. "Though the sword she's using looks a bit short for her ... I don't think it's hers."
Aliya was used to using any sort of weapon (or nearly: she hadn't even realized until seeing Feng's battle fans that there were weapons out there that she didn't know how to use), so the relative shortness of Triton's blade wasn't bothering her very much. She knew she was much taller than him, so it only made sense that his blade would be shorter than her own.
Her only annoyance at the moment was Elberon, who was asking questions more and more quickly. Still, she set one foot forward and feinted a high thrust at Ryu, then quickly twisted the sword and brought it up from waist height for a low attack.
