"however, there is more to it...the new guardians would take up their place as the sworn protectors of this so called power, and keep it secret with them their whole lives. Unfortuantely not all of them went to the good side. There was this one time when the secret was almost revealed because one of them told the warlocks. Later, the warlocks figured out a way to track the new guardians who were still unaware of their powers and all. See, when you're in a near death situation, the powers activate enough to save you, as me and Jackie talked earlier today" Kioko said looking at jackie.
"they kidnapped the guardians and used this ritual to forcefully pull out their powers. all the while giving them toture so it would leave a mental scar and make them follow their orders. Says here that whoever weilded the power basically controlled all the elements of the universe, and would rule. But its the same power that keeps everything in balance, understand. So i think Max'x dad wants to use the homing abilities of our powers to track the main one. Haven't you noticed that all the kidnapped experiments somehow ended up together? i dont think that is mere coincidence"

Crow simply nodded, he knew that their natural finding of other experiments was not coincidence, he'd always been suspicious of the situation. It seems he was rightly so, it seemed that the first issue pressing them now was to destroy the ability the the power seeker to track them, the barcodes.

"Maybe it's just me," Strobe said, "But I'm not so sure of the motives being presented here. Alot of the experiments done on us and the rest of the lot were definantly designed to bring out our powers, there's no doubt about that, but all the while every move they made was a tentative one, almost as if they were discovering. If they had already known about this stuff, wouldn't they have just kept a few key people that contained alot of power and just scrap the rest? I mean, I don't know about you, but I was kept like a lab rat in that place, not the key to some important equation of universal domination. Even more convincing, though, is my whole section. I was trained as an assassin for private army contracts. Why would they do that? If universal domination was their goal, then projects like myself would just take up resources valuble to their main goal."

"Well, who knows. Some experiments were probably used in sepcial regiments. i mean, in my regime, i was designed to become a tracker, no doubt about it. they had us track down anything." Kioko said frowning
"maybe they wanted to test out the others as well. I mean, there are alot of powers out there, maybe they just found out new ones right now and are testing them. Brainwashing and making sure they are under your conplete control is much harder than just inflicting mental pain on people."
Kioko closed her eyes and rememberd the torture she had to endure, even more so, watching her brother die in front of her didnt help either.

Strobe watched the grimace form on Kioko's face.

"no." max said bluntly. "all they do is give you more reason to hate. they remind you how much of a freak you are, and they remind you who did this to you." he sighed, then stood up. "im going to go visit a friend of mine and let him know im not dead. someone can give me the revised version when i get back." he picked his clothes up and started putting them on since his fur was dry.

Crow raised an eyebrow at Max, he seemed quite upset over what Kioko said, but what was stranger yet was that he was going to visit someone, but who? A friend he knew before the labs? In any case Crow turned back towards the fire, he thought about how he'd built his life around the fact that what doesn't kill someone makes them stronger, and other such philosophies. Perhaps Max hadn't come to see that yet, he'd have to let go of something as useless as pain someday. Meanwhile he waited for further discussion on the subject of their powers and origins, he couldn't contribute, but he was eager to know more about this subject.

"Be careful out there. Youn ever know who might be watching so close to the lab." Strobe said. His first thought was to stop him from going, knowing that it would probably mean humans being exposed to them, the escapees. Then, he thought, if he's a cat dude, stealth shouldn't be a problem.

kioko frowned at what he said. Its true it makes you hate them more, but it also opened your eyes to all the other options you can do rather than rash thinking. At least, that is how she learned it before.

he used a claw to punch a much needed hole for his tail, and grabbed his tail, forcing it through the hole as he finished getting dressed. he looked over at everyone. "humph, i figured one of you would at least try and stop me considering i stick out like a sore thumb. not that i would let any of you get between me and patrick anyway. well, last chance to stop me before i slip into someone's bedroom window. any takers?"

Crow stood up and brushed the dirt from the ground off of his jeans and jacket calmly, he walked over beside Max and stopped next to him. He didn't move to stop Max, in fact he stuck his hands in his pockets and waited for Max to go. Crow wasn't going to stop Max from seeing his friend, but he wouldn't let him get hurt either, he could simply follow him and be nearby if any trouble arose.

((No no. Yuki doesn't control time in full length, she matches it most. Meaning if she see's someone run really fast, like the hundread meter dash, and they got 13 seconds, she can match them and get same exact time...))
Yuki was in her Fox form and was in her Fox form and was asleep underneth a shaded tree, as her three tails swayed in motion...
