No, he couldn't.
From the time of the lunge, and biting down,Slade would have already began shutting his vice. Within seconds, it would slam shut, cutting whatever was inside, off from what was outside. It's that simple.
There is no time to make a hand sign for anything,

actually i had forgotten about a object he's wearing at all times, its one of his madeups and it keeps him from being cut on the torso, so snapping him in half won't do to much. XP

Its the Shroud of Turren, the holy blanket with which Christ was burried in. I just gave it the ability to stop basically all things that could cut him, but he still feels the brunt force of it. so a broken rip or 2 maybe a forearm too. XD

The flytrap-like appendages on the Zetsu clan, are made to cut through even the hardest bone. Even with the shroud, a few broken bones would be the least of your worries...

that is the general use without all of the bull infront of it to make it seem fancy, that is also how i explained it to Obscure when she checked it over for me.

Now..
How the hell do you get a spear out of your pocket and manage to use it to carve away out the intside of his appendages?! he had put it in a special case when he entered the church because he can't be without the lance. so he separated the top into 3 sections and the pole. the case was in his shirt. or hat, i can't remember, but he has the ability to grab it no matter what, one of his hands was holding him to your head XD and really, it wouldn't be a fight if you'd relax for 3 minutes. its a child and he wants to play.

A shroud that can resist cuts, but not the blunt force.
Yet the amount of force that would be used to cut someone in half, would cripple someone. Even if it didn't cut through them.
You wouldn't be able to use your other arm, if it's a cloak, and the arm is outside the vice. The arm would be cut off.
Therefore, that kind of disproves your attack.
If the arm is inside, then there wouldn't be enough room to move your arms, and use the lance in question.
Every way you look, you're being disproven. Which is why I can not RP with you, without a fight starting.
I understand the chakra thing, and the fact that some can have abilities to free themselves from situations, like your shroud. But if the abilities are like you say they are, then you're still too wounded to move most of your body, never mind retaliate..

If you knew I would say all this, you would have posted what you just did before hand. Instead of making me waste a good 10 minutes or more on that argument.
By the way, he could only splint himself, there really are no medical things that magically heal broken bones.
