Well, in addition to the obvious corsets, Victorian shoes (like mine) and the pinstriped stockings, any long, full skirt would be a good way to start. Or, if you're into a more tomboyish look, any pants that come short just below the knee, coupled with some long boots. An example would be the brown wrinkled pants with the leather boots. Or, you could even use short heeled shoes, like the elegant lord's shoes, to give an appearance of knickers. Also, billowy shirts like the musketeer shirts look great coupled with a corset. Oh, those wonderful corsets~
As there aren't really any real Victorian items outside of the shoes, some historical anachronism will have to be forgiven.
sweatdrop But, really, if you're into Steampunk, it doesn't
have to be historically accurate and you're given much more freedom. You could goth it up a bit with the the starter goth boots (which I think are great shoes, but they just don't match my style).
I think you should
experiment with the items and post what you come up with here.
